Laura Mae Malsbury
Laura Mae Malsbury, 73, died Monday, May 9, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She was born May 17, 1931, in Sayer to Robert H. and Lena (Dehart) McCraw.

In 1956 she married Bob Malsbury in Texas.

She worked at the Frand Cafe for many years and Allen-Bradley. She retired from General Motors.

Malsbury was a member of the ladies auxiliary at the VFW Post 1317 in Shawnee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and four sisters.

Survivors include her son, Jerome McClendon of Shawnee; three daughters and spouses, Sharon and Bill Bell of Shawnee, Jessie and Donnie Bailey of Maud, and Kaylene McClendon of Shawnee; two brothers, Charles McCraw of California, and Harold McCraw of Tecumseh; two sisters, Virginia Harris of Shawnee and Abbie and Jack Maxwell of Tecumseh; brother-in-law, Delbert Moon of Quinton; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mike Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Willie Clinton Ennis
Willie Clinton Ennis, 77, of Norman, formerly of Tucumcari, N.M., died Saturday, April 23, in Cheyenne, Wyo.

On Jan. 17, 1928, he was born to Arson and Evelyn Ennis in Coalgate. He married Roxie Williams Townsend on Jan. 24, 1945, in Ada.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his wife, Roxie.

Survivors include A.W. Ennis (Sherry) of Harjoe, Doris Lawrence (Gary) of Aztec, N.M., Lemond Ennis of Amarillo, Texas, Mearl Thomas (Joe) of Clovis, N.M., Johnny Ennis of Tucumcari, N.M., Cloyed Ennis (Wynoka) of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two brothers, Billy Joe Ennis of Hilton, N.Y., and Jerry Ennis of Mustang; one sister, Doris Roberts of Decatur, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m.. Saturday at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla.

Alvin Lynn Dorsey
Shawnee resident Alvin Lynn Dorsey, 48, passed away Tuesday, April 26, at St. Anthony's Hospital.

Wake service will be 7 p.m. today at First Indian Baptist Church, Shawnee. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Indian Church. Burial will follow at Hawkins Cemetery under the direction of Native American Funeral Home.

Donald Edward Harrison
Stroud resident Donald (Don) Edward Harrison, 77, died Thursday, April 28.

Service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud with the Rev. Mark Sims officiating. Burial will be in the Morse Cemetery in Okemah.

Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Stroud is directing arrangements.

Minnie E. "Peggy" Thompson
Former Tecumseh resident Minnie E. "Peggy" Thompson, 98, went home to be with the lord on Thursday, April 28, in Tecumseh.

She was born Aug. 29, 1906, in Tecumseh to Charles M. and Blanche (Epperson) Stone.

She was baptized in 1919 at the First Baptist Church in Tecumseh.

She was married January, 1924, to Carl A. Thompson.

They moved to Wichita Falls in 1948 where she joined First Baptist Church and was a member until her death. She taught the young single ladies class and was a member of Rhoda Sunday School Class and the Glory Choir. She was much loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Thompson; daughter, Peggy Joyce Dipprey; brother, Archie Stone; granddaughter, Carla Thompson and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, W.C. Thompson of Tecumseh and Raymond Thompson and wife, Deborah, of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jim Thompson and wife, Jo Ann, of Kenesaw, Ga., Dan Dipprey and wife, Tina, of Graham, Texas, Terry Dipprey of Wichita Falls, Annette Dipprey Penney and husband, Steve, of Wichita Falls, David Thompson and wife, Debra, of Paris, Texas, Kevin Thompson of Lubbock, Texas, and Michael Thompson and wife, Deonna, of Big Lake, Texas; nine great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church Sanctuary, Wichita Falls, with Howard Chapman, Minister of Senior Adults, officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, 2812 Midwestern Parkway, Wichita Falls, Texas.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls.

Brian Allen Crawford
Shawnee resident Brian Allen Crawford, 18, departed this life on Wednesday, April 27, in Meeker.

He was born March 23, 1987, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Kenneth Rae and Anna Marie (Novotny) Crawford.

Brian was very active in baseball, football and basketball. He was dedicated to the music program where he played baritone, was on the drum line and played guitar in the jazz band. His individual music awards, include membership in OBU Honor Band, state qualifier in percussion ensemble, state solo qualifier and state brass ensemble qualifier twice.

He was a very independent person, a motivator, mentor and big brother to all. Brian was a member of the National Honor Society, FCA and Youth Alive.

He was preceded in death by one aunt, Robin Crawford, who died as an infant.

Brian is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Anna Crawford of Shawnee; two brothers, Brad and Bryce Crawford, of the home; grandparents, Frank and Doris Novotny of Meeker, Cheryl Crawford of Prague, and George and Cindy Crawford of Luther; great-grandmothers, Wilma White of Prague and Faye Buchannon of Choctaw; aunts and uncles, Kay and Jon Pruitt of Shawnee, Michael and Leslie Novotny of Del City, and Tina and Wayne Pullen of Prague; special friend, Cayla Coker of Prague; numerous other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Shawnee with the Rev. Maurus Jaeb, O.S.B, and the Rev. Joachim Spexarth, O.S.B. officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.

Paul W. Bennett
Vista, Calif., resident Paul W. Bennett, 75, died Tuesday, April 5, at his home of cancer.

He was born March 7, 1930, in Colony.

He owned and operated Peoples Pets in Shawnee for numerous years. Bennett retired in 1995 from self-employment. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Bennett was preceded in death by his daughter, Pattie Rose, and son, Tom Bennett.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marty Bennett of Vista; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Shirley Bennett of Oklahoma, Doug and Kathy Tuttle and Jim and Tina Tuttle all of Vista, Amy Bennett of Washington; daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Charlie Webster and Terry and Terry McCracken, all of Oklahoma, and Tracie Gilbert Herrara and Kelly and Fred Rivas, and Rocket Bennett, all of Vista; brothers and sister-in-laws, Dave and Wilda Bennett of Oregan, Elma Bennett of Oklahoma; sisters and brother-in-law, Nita and Todd Joyner of Oklahoma, Letha Paden of Oregan; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

No services were planned.

Donations may be made to Hospice by the Sea, 312 S. Cedros Ave., Suite 250, Solana Beach, CA 92075.

Arrangements are under the direction of Accu-Care Cremation Center in Carlsbad, Calif.

Harry A. Ingold III
Shawnee resident Harry Ingold III, 57, died Saturday in Shawnee at his residence.

Per the requests of Ingold, a private memorial service will be held at a later date at Grey Eagle, Minn. Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Frank A. Kirkham
Frank A. Kirkham, 62, of Harrah died Wednesday in Harrah.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason Kirkham of Ft. Madison, Iowa, and Jeff and Dianna Kirkham of Drakesfield, Iowa; a daughter, Roxane Kirkham of Buena Park, Calif.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James Kirkham of Alex and Jesse and Verna Kirkham of McLoud; three sisters, Cora Lee Hart and Flora Daniel, both of Oklahoma City, and Joyce Selby of Atoka; and three grandchildren.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Longdale Cemetery in Longdale. Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah.

Winnogene Roller
Tecumseh resident Winnogene Roller, 67, died Wednesday, May 11, in Shawnee.

She was born Aug. 17, 1937, in Comanche to William Criss and Mary Elizabeth (Wall) Doss. She lived in the Shawnee/Tecumseh area most of her life. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1955.

She was married Dec. 22, 1956, in Oklahoma City to Doyle Roller.

Roller was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, raising her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister and two brothers, Mary Cook and Charley and Bill Doss.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Roller of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Pattie and Rex VanDyke and Tami Roller, all of Tecumseh; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Doyle Jr. and Rita Roller and Delbert Roller, all of Tecumseh; granddaughters, Criss Roller and Kayla VanDyke, both of Tecumseh; grandsons, Justin Roller of Shawnee, Jon Roller, Britton Roller, Kody VanDyke, Holden Sanders, Logan Sanders and Taylor Sanders, all of Tecumseh; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and NoraLee Doss of Shawnee and Dean and Hillis Doss of Macomb; Many friends and family.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. today at Tecumseh Cemetery with Danny Wells of Stratford officiating. Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh is directing arrangements.

Robert Vernon Hansen
Robert Vernon Hansen, 82, of Shawnee died Tuesday at his home. Mr. Hansen was born March 2, 1923, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Edgar G. and Ruth (Vogt) Hansen. He received his Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Hansen was a plant manager for Allen Bradley Co for 35 years. He was CEO of Maghemite, Inc. in Port Cartier, Canada and a consultant for GM after retirement. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church for many years, American Legion, Lions Club and currently a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He had lived in Shawnee since 1973.

His parents, wife and a son, Jeffrey Scott Hansen, preceded him in death.

He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Susan Hansen of Milwaukee, Wis., Steven Hansen and fiancée Martha Beckman of Aledo, Texas, Douglas and Daneen Hansen of Ardmore, Peter and Linda Hansen of Kingston; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Robinson of Shawnee; 11 grandchildren, Krista and Matthew Hansen, Steven Michael Hansen, Eric Robert Robinson, Jeffrey and J.D. Hansen and Jennifer Sweet, Amber, Bradley, Aaron and Mary Hansen; three great-grandchildren, Kayli Sweet, A.J. Sweet and Austin Hansen and one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Andy Houston of Manitowoc, Wis.

The casket will remain open at the funeral home until moving to the church and will not open for the services.

Service will be 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Dr. Rockford Johnson and the Rev. Karen Fowler-Lindemulder officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or St. John Lutheran Church.

Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee is directing arrangements.
