Mrs. Marie Laster Johnston
Services for Mrs. Marie Laster Johnston, 86, of Muldrow will be held today at 10 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, with the Rev. Tommy Treat and the Rev. Randy Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.
Mrs. Johnston was born Dec. 27, 1917, in the Paw Paw community, the daughter of Burt and Lois (Scott) Shackelford. She passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in Roland.
Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing: Three daughters and two sons-in-law, Janice and Barron Thompson of Muldrow, Linda Sue Rollins of Lewisville, Texas, and Sharon Kay and Dean Sampson of Muldrow; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Buck Laster Jr. and Connie of Muldrow, and Don Carroll Laster of Muldrow; 10 grandchildren, Monte Thompson, Shelly Shell, Dr. Shane Laster, Tommy Sparkman, Candy Roberts, Chana Van Nice, Miranda Matlock, Christopher Laster, Deanna Beavers and Kendall Sampson; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Estel Chisum of Muldrow; two brothers, Dean Shackelford of Muldrow and James Richard Shackelford of Broken Arrow, Okla. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Fred “Buck” Laster Sr. and Joe Johnston; and her parents.
Active pallbearers will be: Jerald Blaylock, Pat O’Bryan, Bobby Pinkerton, Danny Morgan, Donnie Jones and Buddy Duvall.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Gary Lee Treat, James Evert Treat, Bill Bert Chisum, Tommy Treat, Rick Shackelford, Randy Shackelford and Scott Shackelford.
Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 430, Muldrow, OK 74948.

James Scarberry
PANAMA — James Henry Scarberry, 64, of Panama died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, in Panama. He was born Sept. 29, 1940, in Panama. He was a Navy veteran, a crane operator and a member of Gypsy Motorcycle Club.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at Fairview Cemetery in Panama.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Corpus Christi, Texas; a son, James A. Scarberry of Corpus Christi, Texas; and one grandchild.

Randy Richardson
SALLISAW — Randy Joe Richardson, 32, of Sallisaw died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in Sallisaw. He was born Aug. 21, 1972, in Sallisaw. He was an engine builder for Sallisaw Automotive Machine Shop.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
He is survived by his parents, Retta Montgomery of Muldrow and Thermon Richardson of Sallisaw; his stepmother, Patricia Richardson of Sallisaw; three sisters, Michelle Fargo of Muldrow and Lisa Price and Levonia Richardson, both of Sallisaw; and a brother, Martin Smith of Sallisaw.

Amos H. Morgan
Amos H. Morgan, 73, of Muldrow died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, in Muldrow. He was born April 9, 1931, in Bixby, Okla. He was a self-employed accountant-bookkeeper and a Baptist. Mr. Morgan was a former construction worker, insurance salesman, rural mail carrier and railroad worker earlier in life.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church in Roland with burial at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of the home; two sons, Amos H. Morgan II (Corky) and wife Jaime of Muldrow and Michael and wife Amber Morgan of Collinsville, Okla.; four grandchildren, Coby B. Morgan, Bryce Morgan, Tyler Morgan and Brandon Morgan; a sister, Odell Hooper of Broken Arrow, Okla.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Avis, Raymond, W.H. and Lonnie Morgan; and a sister, Dallas Faulkner.
Pallbearers will be Joey Morgan, Willie Morgan, Perry Broyles, Tracy Morgan, Steve Morgan and Ronnie Morgan.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Agent Chapel in Muldrow.

Edna Moore
POTEAU — Edna L. Moore, 99, of Poteau died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, in Poteau. She was born March 5, 1905, in Spiro (Indian Territory). She was a homemaker, a member of First Assembly of God, a Sunday school teacher and the widow of W.S. Moore. She served for several years in evangelical ministry.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro.
Pallbearers will be members of the First Assembly of God church board.

Ella Pann
CLAREMORE, Okla. — Ella Morine “Cricket” Pann, 91, of Claremore died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, in Claremore. She was born Jan. 1, 1913, in Bethel, Okla. She attended Bethel School, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hulbert and the widow of Walter Pann.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah, Okla., with burial at New Home Cemetery in Peggs, Okla.
She is survived by three daughters, Lois Parker of Woodall, Okla., Laura Miller of Pocola, and Lena Boling of Inola, Okla.; a son, Jim Pann of Inola; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jack, Robert and Tim Parker, David and Brent Yochum, Jim and Jason Pann.

A.J. Henson
POTEAU — A.J. Henson, 87, of Poteau died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in Poteau. He was born Dec. 28, 1916, in Poteau. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Poteau, the Masonic Lodge in Fort Gibson, the state OREA and LeFlore County OREA. He was an Army Air Corps veteran and was a flight instructor during World War II. He taught school for 37 years, retiring in 1980, and was a rancher.
He is survived by his wife, Mary.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Charles Underwood
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. — Charles W. “Budge” Underwood, 75, of Midwest City died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in Midwest City. He was a member of Evangelical Christian Faith, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner, was a deputy in LeFlore, Pottawatomie and Oklahoma Counties and chief of police in McLoud, Okla., and retired from LeeWay Trucking.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with burial at Spiro City Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters, Dianne McMillon of Choctow, Okla., Patty Finning of Tulsa, and Barbara DeWailley of Del City, Okla.; four sons, Jimmie Underwood of Newalla, Okla., Bobby Underwood of Tulsa, Mike Underwood of Sand Springs, Okla., and Bruce Underwood of McLoud, Okla.; three sisters, Marion Wright of Dallas, Betty Allbritton of Spiro, and Bonnie Pendleton of Pocola; two brothers, Joe and Jimmie Underwood, both of Spiro; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmie, Mike and Bruce Underwood, Michael Underwood Jr., Leroy Finning and Charlie McMillon.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Florence Stevenson
TULSA — Florence Belle James Stevenson, 87, of Tulsa died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, in Tulsa.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Antioch Baptist Church with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Stigler, Okla., under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.
She is survived by her husband, John; three sons, George and Philip Stevenson, both of Tulsa, and James Stevenson of Webster, Texas; two sisters, Ruth James of Colbert, Okla. and Esther Caesar of Stigler; a brother, Leroy James of Poteau; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.

Terrell Roy
MULDROW — Terrell Benjamin Roy, 44, of Muldrow died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, in a local hospital. He was an auto mechanic and attended Butterfield Assembly of God.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; a daughter, Krissy Roy of Spiro; a son, Justin Roy of Spiro; a sister, Patricia Morris of Jenks, Okla.; three brothers, Cloris Roy of Dora, Tony Roy of Greenwood, and Dwain Roy of Roland; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jerry and Jeremy Vaughn, Roger Heiss, Rocky Pendleton and Larry Thomas.

Eugene Wokaty
ENTERPRISE, Okla. — Eugene R. Wokaty, 71, of Enterprise died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in Muskogee, Okla. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Brooken Cemetery in Brooken, Okla., under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, LaRuth; two daughters, Phyllis Wokaty and Teresa Johnson, both of Enterprise; a son, Michael Wokaty of McCloud, Okla.; three brothers, Richard Wokaty of Oklahoma City, Robert Wokaty of Kansas, and Wayne Wokaty of Jet, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hunt, Allen and Charles Johnson, Michael and John Wokaty and Dion Roberts.

Thomas Leatherwood
BIXBY, Okla. — Thomas H. Leatherwood, 69, of Bixby, Okla., died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in Tulsa. He was born Sept. 11, 1935, in West Hartford. He retired from Pepsi after 33 years as a special events manager, worked 12 years as a driver for Robertson Plumbing Supply Co., and served in the Navy.
Funeral was held Tuesday at Leonard & Marker Funeral Home Chapel in Bixby with burial at Bixby Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; five daughters, Wilma Wafer of Liberty Mounds, Okla., Sherri Leatherwood and Tammi Dugdale, both of Bixby, Terri Brondel of Jefferson City, Mo., and Connie Robertson of Catoosa, Okla.; a son, John Leatherwood of Bixby; three sisters, Wanda Townley of Tulsa, Bessie Burrows of Hartford, and Lorene Berryhill of Owasso, Okla.; a brother, R.B. Leatherwood of Fort Smith; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Justin and Jared Wefer, Caleb Robertson and Alex Brondel.

June Bowline
COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — June Bowline, 69, of Collinsville died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in Tulsa. She was born June 25, 1935, in Collinsville. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Collinsville with burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home of Collinsville.
She is survived by her husband, Thedus; a daughter, Theda Werthen of Tulsa; four sons, Carvin Bowline of Alma, Kevin and Kyle Bowline, both of Collinsville, and Phillip Bowline of Patriot, Ind.; three brothers, Jack Murphy of Collinsville, the Rev. Jim Murphy of South Bend, Ind., and Joe Murphy of Tulsa; and six grandchildren.

Terrall Roy

James Joslin
SPIRO — James Ray “Hoss” Joslin, 62, of Spiro died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, in Spiro. He was a member of AOHA and was a horse rancher, painter and carpenter.
Service are pending with Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Williams of Antlers, Okla., and Tammy Hartman of Citrus Heights, Calif.; a sister, Ellen Pondo of Pauls Valley, Okla.; two brothers, Gene Joslin of Elk Grove, Calif., and Clarence Joslin of Alameda, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
