Pauline R. Duvall

Pauline R. Duvall, 85, formerly of Altus, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at Glenhaven Retirement Village in Chickasha, Ok. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Kincannon’s Memorial Chapel with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

She was born on May 16, 1921 in Jackson County to Audie and Stella (Hudson) Duke. She graduated from high school in Jackson County near Duke. She married Willie Duvall after he returned from WWII on March 9, 1946 in Mangum, Oklahoma. To this union two daughters, Brenda and Sabrina, were born. She lived a full life of 85 years. She often reminisced about living through the depression and dust bowl – about how there were hard times but good memories. She also told of picking cotton, and dragging the cotton sack down the long rows. Pauline was a fashion lady, who was always up on the current style. Cooking was her pastime. She loved cooking for the family, especially on holidays. Everything would be homemade food – chicken and dumplings, cherry cobbler, meatloaf and gravy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Willie; four brothers, Audie, Johnny, Jessie and Billy Duke and one sister Lillie McGuinness. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Clark and husband Jack of Amber, Ok; Sabrina Overman and husband Tony of Prescott, Az; four grandchildren, Jennifer Jeter and husband Jason of Tuttle, Ok; Johnny Clark and wife Marty of Mustang, Ok; Starla Overman of Prescott, Az; Joe Overman and wife Amanda of Corpus Christi, Tx; nine great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brittany, Nikki, Kyle, Destiny, Jonathon, Aaron, Lance, Esme and many friends.

The Duvall Family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Kincannon Funeral Home’s Gathering Room.

Laura Beth Fancher

Laura Beth Fancher, 78, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Kincannon Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Moore officiating. Interment to follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

She was born on June 14, 1928 in Altus, Oklahoma to Sandy Cornelious and Flora Frances (Smith) English. She graduated from Altus High School, and continued her education at Southwestern State College in Weatherford, OK. She married Kenneth Fancher April 21, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK. Laura Beth was a teacher. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years, Retired Teachers and the V.F.W. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Kenneth Fancher in 2001.

She is survived by one daughter, Kennita Hunt and her husband, Bruce, of Arlington, TX, two sons, Danny Fancher of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Retired Lieutenant Colonel (USMC) Ken Fancher and wife Mona of St. Leonard, Maryland. Grandchildren include Latisa Ledbetter and Tarali Hunt of Pensacola, FL, Wesley and Kyle Fancher of St. Leonard, Maryland, Keevin and Kasin Fancher of Oklahoma City, and Jomora Stroll of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Eight great grandchildren also survived Laura.

The Fancher Family will greet friends Friday, February 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Nelva Jo Fancher

Nelva Jo Fancher, passed away at the Tuttle Care Center in Tuttle, OK, on Sunday, March 18, 2007. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Kincannon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow the services at the Boggy Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Jo was born to Wiley and Martha (Willeford) Drury on April 8, 1925 at Harmony, Oklahoma. She received her education at the Harmony schools graduating with the class of 1942. Nelva Jo Drury and Travis Fancher were united in marriage on October 3, 1942 in Olustee, Oklahoma. Jo sold Avon products from 1979 to 2006. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Eldorado, and attended the Chisolm Heights in Mustang. Jo was a member of the Olustee New State Club, Jackson County Historical Society as well as Jackson County Home Extension. One of her special interests was The Gospel Discords at the Mustang Senior Center.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Jean Hestand Laird, five brothers in law: Bud Culpepper, Orville Southward, Charlie Felty, Red Laird, and Howard Hestand, four sisters in law: Francis Drury, Ruth Culpepper, Evelyn Messer, and Iula Southward.

Nelva is survived by her four children: Karen Pike and her husband Lee of Altus, OK, J.B. Fancher, of Norman, OK, Tammy Trillo and husband Jesse, of Mustang, OK and Gary Fancher and wife Maureen, of Flippin, AR; seven siblings: Octava Felty of Altus, Jack Drury and wife Marilyn, of Mangum, OK. Red Drury and wife Jean of Mangum, OK, Laveda Cook and husband Don, of Oklahoma City, OK, Billy John Drury and wife Melva, of Moore, OK, Mary Whittenburg and husband Nolan, and Henry Drury and wife Judy, of Norman, OK: A brother-in-law Doyle Messer of Headley, TX: nine grandchildren: Travis and Page Fancher, Curtis Dew and wife Tara, Merritt Pike, Ame Smith and husband Leroy, Joshua, Jessica, and Jacob Trillo, and grandson by choice Harrison Maden Prater; five great-grandchildren; Elijah Dew, Christopher, Matthew, and Anthony Pike, Anita Stephens, and Joseph Fancher.

The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kincannon Funeral Home in Altus. Memorials and tributes may be made online at www.kincannonfuneralhome.com.

Donald A. Feller, 68, of Altus, passed away Tuesday, July 22, at his home. Services will be held, 2:00 pm, Friday, July 25 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ken Liles officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Donald Feller

Donald was born on December 13, 1939 to Edwin and Mildred Feller in Chandler, Indiana. He attended school in Evansville, Indiana. Donald married Linda Parks on August 9, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1955 and served his country for 20 years. He opened Sound Systems Electronics after he retired from the Air Force and was involved in Feller RV Sales and Service for many years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Donald enjoyed auto racing, fishing and camping with his sons, being with his grandchildren and his loyal Spaniel “Scamp.”

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mildred Feller; two brothers, Bob and Dick Feller; two sisters, Bonnie Feller and Debra Winnecke.

Surviving Donald are his wife, Linda Feller; two sons, Bobby Feller and wife Kim, and Steve Feller and wife Solvieg all of Altus; sisters, Carol Schultz of Newburg, Indiana, Evelyn Mullen and husband Tom of Farmington Hills, Michigan and Mary Hancock of Aurora, Colorado, and Clara Stephens of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Mike Feller of Evansville, Indiana and Paul Feller of Brazil, Indiana; five grandchildren, Keaton, Colin, Ryan, Karlee, and Baylor Feller.

The Feller family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 25 at Kincannon Funeral Home.

Octava Drury Felty

Octava Drury Felty, 86, Altus, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 5 at the Kincannon Funeral Chapel with burial following at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Octava was born January 12, 1921, in Olustee, Oklahoma to Wiley Oscar and Martha Ann (Willeford) Drury. Octava attended the Harmony School. She married Charles D. Felty on June 25, 1938 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Ozark Home Extension for over sixty years, Board of Directors for the Museum of the Western Prairie, Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Historical Society, W.O.W., Local Association for Mature Persons, a 4- H mom, P.T.A. mom, and most lovingly, Grandmother Extroidonaire, always proud to be involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives and events. Her hobbies were sewing, cooking, and gardening, as well as being a long time member of the Eldorado Primative Baptist Church.

Octava is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles in 1999, a son, Wiley Felty, granddaughter, Patricia Ann Davis, two sisters, Jean Hestand Laird, and Jo Fancher, sister in laws Annie Bowden and Cora Cantwell, seven brother-in-laws Red Laird, Travis Fancher, Howard Hestand, Aubrey Bowden, S. A. Turner, Gene Hall, Quincey Cantwell.

She is survived by six daughters: Charla Eason and her husband, Dale, of Yuba City, CA, Alta Barker, and her husband, Dr. L.D., of Yukon, OK, Glenda Reinshagen and her husband Gene, of Painted Post, NY, Laquita Reitenour and her husband Kent, of Altus, OK, Anita Hamel, of Yukon, OK, and Jana Owens and her husband Cliff, of Oklahoma City OK; 18 grandchildren, Monty Chitty of Yuba City, Ca; Melissa Smith and husband Wyatt of Duncan, Ok; Bryan Wayne of Alexandria, Va; Keeff and Amber Felty of Altus, Ok; Brad Barker and wife Carla of Illesheim, Germany; Mark Barker and wife Sondra of Nichols Hills, Ok; Matthew Barker of Yukon, Ok; Dirk Reinshagen and wife Michelle of San Mateo, Ca; Kara Reinshagen of Boston, Ma; Charles Reitenour of Altus, Ok; Lawrence Reitenour and wife Elania of Darmstadt, Germany; Tara Hamel of Oklahoma City, Ok; David and Amanda Hamel, both of Yukon, Ok; Drury Owens of Monterrey, Ca; Grae and Jacy Owens, both of Oklahoma City, Ok; 10 great grandchildren, Derek PayerSmith and wife Heather of Kilgore, Tx; Megan and Brandon Smith, both of Duncan, Ok; Sierra Marshall of Altus, Ok; Caed, Calahan and Brynn Barker, all of Illesheim, Germany; Adelaide Reinshagen of San Mateo, Ca; Kylan Reitenour of Darmstadt, Germany; Erin Reidy of Oklahoma City, Ok; two sisters: Leveda Cook and her husband Don, of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Whittenburg and her husband, Nolan of Sapulpa, OK, four brothers: Jack Drury and his wife Marilyn, and Wiley Drury and his wife Jean all of Mangum, OK, Billy John Drury and his wife Melva of Moore, OK, and Henry K. Drury and his wife Judy of Norman, OK. She is also survived by sister in law Nadalene Hall of Altus, OK and a very special cousin Lawayne Drury and his wife Reba of Olustee, OK. Alfred S. Ferenczhalmy

Alfred S. Ferenczhalmy, 65, Altus, passed away at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Thursday, June 12, 2008. A Vigil and Rosary will be held Sunday evening, June 15 at 7:00 p.m., and a funeral mass will be held Monday, June 16 at 2:00 pm at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Joe Arledge will be officiating. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Al was born May 8, 1943 in Budapest, Hungary to Alfred and Erika (Viek) Ferenczhalmy. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on February 6, 1962. While on active duty, he was selected for the AFIT program for his exemplary test scores and dedication to service. He received bachelor and masters degrees in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University and received a commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He served as a KC-135 pilot and truly loved to fly. During his distinguished military career, he was decorated with many awards, medals, and citations including the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Expert Small Arms Marksmanship Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Al proudly served his country for 20 years and then retired at the rank of Major in 1982. After retirement he and a business partner owned and operated A & A Performance Engines in Altus for 17 years.

On January 29, 1966, he married Emoke M. Szöcs in Avon, Ohio, and they were blessed with three sons. Al was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Air Force Association and the VFW. He loved auto racing, water skiing and automotive repair and greatly enjoyed spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Judith Horvath.

Al is survived by his wife Emoke, of the home; three sons, Roland and wife Tena of Madison, Connecticut, Thomas and wife Teresa of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Alfred Jr. and wife Suzanne of Murphy, Texas; six grandchildren, Nathaniel, Matthew, Alexander, Daniel, Noah and Megan. He also leaves behind many, many friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Concepcion Fierra

Concepcion Fierra, 85, Altus, died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. A funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. yesterday, Saturday, October 7, 2006, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Joe Arledge officiating. Burial will take place in Bejucos, Mexico in the family cemetery.

Mr. Fierra was born on November 11, 1920 in Puerto del Salitre Edo, Mexico to Alfonso and Rutilia (Benitez) Fierro. He was a farm laborer and made Altus his home for several years.

Funeral arrangements, transportation permits and border authorizations are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Rhonda Fleming

Rhonda Fleming, 49, Altus, died Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2007 at Kincannon Funeral Home with Elder D. Jones and Elder Bennie Alexander officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

She was born on April 2, 1958 in Altus, Oklahoma to John A. and Earlene (Pollard) Fleming. She attended Altus Schools, graduating in Roswell, N.M. in 1975. She had attended WOSC and was trained in Oklahoma City as a professional nanny. She worked at S.W.O.D.A. in Altus and was a supervisor at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, OK. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ in Altus. She enjoyed baseball, basketball, all sports, playing cards and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Albennie Pollard and John and Rosetta Fleming.

She is survived by her parents; stepmother Rosia Fleming; sister Brenda Fleming Carruthers and husband John of Oklahoma City; half sister Vanessa Fleming Sapp and husband Richard of Austin, TX; brother Alfred Fleming and wife Carla of Altus; half brother John Keith Fleming of Austin, TX; step brother Brian Miller of Lockhart, TX; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Terry T. Fleming

Terry Fleming, 81, Altus, passed away November 29, 2007 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Private family services will be held at the Binger Cemetery at a later time.

Terry Tolbert Fleming was born July 7, 1926 to William O. and Bertie M (Tolbert) Fleming in Oklahoma City, OK. After he graduated from high school he served his country in the United States Army and Army Reserves from 1952 until 1960. He was an operator of heavy equipment for many years before his retirement. Terry married Barbara Fleming on June 14, 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona. Terry enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking. He was a member of the Cayuga Mission in Grove, OK.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers. Terry is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; three daughters, Sandra Bates, of Altus, OK, Yvonne Moore of Lakeside, Arizona, and Peggy Sands, of Phoenix, Arizona, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one brother, Eugene Fleming of OKC, OK.

Robert Lee Flood

Robert Lee Flood, 72, of Blair, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church of Altus, OK with Father Joe Arledge officiating. A Rosary will be held Wednesday evening at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Robert was born February 15, 1935 to James L. and Jeanette (Theeuwes) Flood in Hart, Michigan. He attended school and graduated from Hart High School in 1953. He married Marilyn Priese on December 26, 1953 in Shelby, Michigan. He was a member of the United States Army from March of 1954 through 1957. While in the Army, he was on the Army Marksmanship Team. After leaving the Army, he joined the United States Air Force and became a Crew Chief on the KC-135’s, a Flight Engineer on the C- 124 and later on the C-141 at Altus Air Force Base. He was also an instructor engineer at Altus Air Force Base until his retirement from the Air Force in 1977. During his retirement years, he had various jobs including working at the Post Office. He spent much of his time in woodworking, as he was a master craftsman woodworker. He built his own home, the Baptismal at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, clocks, and wooden chests for his family and friends. He enjoyed boating, shooting (not hunting), but most of all he loved flying. He attended and received his Associates Degree from WOSC and then earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting from Cameron University. Robert was an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the DAV, and the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Debroah Flood; two brother-in-laws Earnest Blohm and Richard Van de Velde; two sister-in-laws Phyllis Priese and Helen Van de Velde. Robert is survived by his wife, Marilyn, of the home; six children, Robert Lee Flood, Jr. of Altus, OK, Jean Campos and husband Robert of Austin, TX, Mark Flood and wife, Tammy of Headrick, OK, Kathryn Hunter of Knoxville, TN, Daniel Flood and wife Brandi of Lawton, OK, Ruth Ruzicka and husband Kevin “Zeke” of Altus, OK; one brother Colonel James Flood of Rockford, Alabama; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Tributes may be sent to www.kincannonfuneralhome.com.

William “Bill” Foshee

William “Bill” Foshee, 82, Altus, passed away April 10 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 14 at Kincannon Funeral Chapel with Jeff Moore officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

William G. Foshee was born August 3, 1925 to William R. and Versie C. (Beddoe) Foshee in Knoxville, Arkansas. He married Marian Parks on February 5, 1955 at the Bryan Air Force Base Chapel. He enlisted at 17 years of age, joining the United States Army. While proudly serving his country, he served for the U.S. Army, Army Air Force and finally the U. S. Air Force. During World War II he served with the 82nd Airborne Division - 925th “Glider Infantry”, landing in Normandy and moving through to Berlin. He also served in Korea and Vietnam before retiring from the Air Force in 1968. During his distinguished military career, William received many medals including the Bronze Star Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and the Combat Infantryman Badge. After retirement, he worked civil service at Tinker Air Force Base and Altus Air Force for 20 years. William was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law William Trimble; grandson Michael Ferrer; brother, Raymond and sister, June.

He is survived by his wife Marian of the home; two daughters, Linda Trimble of Altus, OK, and Sheri O’Neal of Rapid City, SD; one son, John David Tate and his wife Rhonda of Conroe, TX; brother, Edgar (Bud) Foshee and wife, Arlene of Mt. Ida, AR; eight grandchildren, Patrick Ferrer and wife Janice, John Tate, and Robert C. Smith II all of Conroe, TX, Richard O’Neal, George O’Neal and wife Jessica, Christopher O’Neal and wife Tashia, Joseph O’Neal, and Aimee O’Neal all of Rapid City, SD; and sixteen great- grandchildren.

The Foshee family will greet friends Sunday, April 13 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Kincannon Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Ronald E. Fowler

Ronald E. Fowler, 65, of Martha, died Saturday evening at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Kincannon Funeral Home. Randy Mitchell will be officiating. Burial will follow services at the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Ronald Eugene Fowler was born March 12, 1942, in Altus, Oklahoma to Donald and Vallie (Sneed) Fowler. As a young man he attended Martha schools and the Methodist Church in Martha. He graduated from Martha High School in 1960.After school he served his country proudly, in the U.S. Army, and received an honorable discharge in 1967. He married Audra Thornton on January 11, 1974 in Vernon, TX.

He worked most of his life as a truck driver, spending 40 years driving for such companies as Republic, Jewett Scott Trucking, Passmore, Accord, Maverick, and Carl Hatton. Ronald was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He also loved to read old westerns. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Audra of the home; three daughters, Teresa Roberts and husband Mike, of Henrietta, TX; Sheryl Nava and husband Bobby, of Vernon, TX; and Kathy Roberts and husband Blake of Blair, OK. One brother, Richard Fowler and wife Joni of Roth, OK; One sister, Donna Jones and husband Don of Norman, OK; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three nephews, and two nieces.

The Fowler family will host friends for visitation from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at Kincannon Funeral Home, in Altus.
