Willard Lisenbery

Former longtime Seminole resident Willard Lisenbery, 73, Anadarko, died Wednesday at a Shawnee hospital.

The son of C.W. and Lucille Lisenbery was born June 20, 1927, in Binger. He was married to Dorothy Hilton Oct. 8, 1949, in Binger.

Lisenbery, who retired after 47 years in the oil field supply business, had lived in Seminole for more than 50 years. He and his wife retired to their home in Anadarko, which is known to many as "Dollar Pond."

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lisenbery of the home; a daughter, Lori Lisenbery Hill; a granddaughter, Cortnei Johnson; a son-in-law, Timothy Hill; a brother, Buddy Lisenbery; a sister, Wilma Smalley, and several other family members.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole. The Rev. Stephen Cline will officiate.

A graveside service will follow at 4 p.m. at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko.

Memorials may be made to Interfaith Social Ministries, P.O. Box 1602, Seminole OK 74818.

Robbie Jean Meier Cargill

Robbie Jean Meier Cargill of Prague died Tuesday in Prague. She was 82.

She was born Sept. 15, 1918, in Jenks to Fred and Anna (Horn) Kincade.

She was a partner with her father in the Reliable Chevrolet dealership from 1937 to 1969 and also owned and operated the Merle Norman Top and Bottom Dress Shop in Prague from 1969 to 1990.

Mrs. Cargill was a member of the Prague First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jvon Meier, on Aug. 13, 1960. She was married in 1963 to Glen Cargill, who preceded her in death Aug. 6, 1984.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Toni Meier, Prague; Glenda and Danny Walden, Prague; three grandchildren, Curry Jett Meier, Prague; Monica Walden and Resha Walden, both of Shawnee; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Prague, with the Rev. Steve Roach and Tyler Grissom officiating. Burial will follow in Prague Cemetery.

Meske Diné Casteel

Meske Diné Casteel, infant daughter of Michael Madison Casteel and Wenona "Christie" Fixico, Tecumseh, died Tuesday in Oklahoma City.

Tribal rites will be 7 p.m. Friday at the Casteel home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Park, Trinity Chapel.

Other information will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home.

Kenneth Eller

Shawnee resident Kenneth Eller died Wednesday at the age of 49.

Services are pending under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.

Opal Lois Stalnaker

Opal Lois Stalnaker of Seminole died Wednesday at a Seminole hospital. She was 93.

She was born Nov. 23, 1907, in Mississippi to Lee and Myrtle Bowers. She married L.C. "Pete" Stalnaker, who preceded her in death Nov. 9, 1986.

Mrs. Stalnaker moved from Maud to Seminole in 1939.

A homemaker, Mrs. Stalnaker worked many years as a cashier for Harvest House Restaurant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Seminole.

Survivors include her son, Don Stalnaker, Seminole; daughter-in-law, Sandra Stalnaker, Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Ginger and Chris LaBarbera, Dallas; Donald Stalnaker, Austin, Texas; Kurt and Lisa Stalnaker, Dallas; and one great-grandchild, Zac LaBarbera, Dallas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel, Seminole, with Dr. Kelvin Moseley officiating. Burial will be in Cummings Cemetery, Maud.

David Doyle Worcester

David Doyle Worcester, Ada, died Saturday at his home. He was 44.

Worcester was born April 28, 1955, in Talihina, the son of Nicholas and Lillian Sealy Worcester.

He attended Lee Grade School in Oklahoma City and Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City.

He moved to the Ada area in 1975.

Worcester was a construction worker.

He was a Baptist and served with the National Guard.

Survivors include his father, Nicholas Worcester, Tahlequah; four sisters, Della Myers, Roff; Robin Bond, Ardmore; Rosa Worcester, Arkansas; Geneva Worcester, Oklahoma City; seven brothers, Douglas Worcester, Ardmore; Cleveland Worcester, Ada; Willard Worcester, Stonewall; Gilbert Worcester, Tahlequah; Edward Worcester, Texas; Arlington Worcester, McAlester; Nicholas Worcester Jr., Granite; 23 nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today, at Criswell Chapel in Ada, with the Rev. Steve Wall officiating.

Burial will be in Sandy Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.

Audrey Lea Rodebush

Stroud resident Audrey Lea Rodebush died Monday in Stroud. She was 81.

Mrs. Rodebush was born May 17, 1918, in Paden, to Dave and Mattie (Choate) Kelton.

She married Acy Lee Rodebush on Oct. 29, 1945. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1991.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Mattie Kelton.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Carrol Crass, Stroud; two brothers, Jack Kelton, Kellyville; Pete Kelton, Choctaw; granddaughter and her spouse, Gaye and Dean Melson; grandson, Kevin Crass; and two great-grandchildren, Abi Melson and Myles Melson.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague, with the Rev. Burl Mackey officiating.

Burial will be in Prague Cemetery.

Hazel Greenfield

Hazel Greenfield, Cushing, died Monday in Cushing. She was 89.

Mrs. Greenfield was born Nov. 17, 1910, in Stillwater, the daughter of Henry and Eliza Jane (Wilson) Donnell.

She married Loyd Greenfield on Sept. 7, 1928, in Chandler.

She worked at Wacker Department Store in Chandler, and was a member of the Church of the First Born in Cushing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Greenfield; three sons; a great-granddaughter; parents, Henry and Eliza Jane Donnell; a brother; and a sister.

Survivors include her son, Loyd Greenfield, Chandler; daughter, Mary Jane Stevens, Cushing; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the First Born in Cushing, with Brother Wayne Tibbet and Brother Jerry Dowe Pruitt officiating.

Burial will be in Parkland Cemetery, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Chandler.

Billie Gene Schonfield

Billie Gene Schonfield died Monday in Shawnee. He was 56.

He was born March 11, 1944, in Cushing. He was the son of Amos and Jewel Virjean (Williams) Schonfield.

Schonfield had lived in the Chandler and Davenport area and worked in the oilfields around the Cushing and Drumright area.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Survivors include one uncle, Samuel H. Williams of Washington; one aunt, Rachel Melton of Chandler; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Davenport Cemetery in Davenport with Pastor Johnny Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Davenport Cemetery under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Chandler.

Thurman C. Martin

Thurman C. Martin of Modesto, Calif., died Sunday. He was 65.

He was born July 29, 1934, in McLoud. He was the son of Jessie and Dorothy Martin.

Martin attended Shawnee schools. He was shipping manager for National Family Trust.

He married in Edmond in 1989. Martin lived in Shawnee during his youth.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Martin, Modesto, Calif.; three sons, Benny Martin, Texas; Mark Martin, Oklahoma; Terry Martin, Texas; sister, Cozaey West, Riverbank, Calif. and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Tecumseh Cemetery with Rev. Richard Goad officiating, under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Mary LaDawn Griffin

Mary LaDawn Griffin, Meeker, died Tuesday in Midwest City. She was 68.

Mrs. Griffin was born Dec. 30, 1931, in McLoud, to William "Bill" and Lillie Ida (Gilbreth) Floyd.

She married Melvin Griffin on Nov. 19, 1948, in Meeker.

She had retired from Tinker Air Force Base.

Mrs. Griffin was a member of Mammoth Baptist Church, and the Jacktown Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her son, Melvin Leon "Sandy" Griffin; a grandson, William Randel "Randy" Griffin; parents, William and Lillie Floyd; and a sister, Nora Belle Barnhart.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Griffin, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Rita Griffin, Newalla; James and Eugenia Griffin, Wellston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ginger and Gary Gee, Shawnee; Sherri and Steve Courtemanche, Harrah; Terri and Dean Hayhurst, Newalla; a brother, William Floyd, Tecumseh; three sisters, Jacklyn Floyd and Louise Hall, both of Meeker; Betty Davis, Seminole; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 1 p.m. today until noon Thursday, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Meeker.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mammoth Baptist Church, north of Jacktown, with the Rev. Joseph Sinko officiating.

Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Meeker.
