CLEO CREEKMORE
TULSA, Okla. - Cleo Creekmore, 65, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2002, at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. Cleo was born September 15, 1937, at Locust Grove, Okla. She was the daughter of John Welch and Nancy (Haner) Potts. Some of her favorite pastimes were camping, fishing, shopping and reading her favorite books. Preceding her in death was her husband, Clifford Henderson Creekmore on November 28, 2000. Her parents, a grandson, one sister and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Cleo was a member of the Faith Mission Church in Jay.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Shipman's Jim Green Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 11, at 2 p.m. in the Locust Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Pirttle of the Owasso Freewill Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in the Ballou Cemetery, Locust Grove, with Matthew Applegate, Joshua Newby, Brandon Creekmore, Anthony Creekmore, John Andrew Creekmore, Juan Rodriguez, Vernon Phillips and Emery Herring serving as casketbearers.
Survivors include her children, Michael Wayne Creekmore and wife, Sherree, of Cottondale, Ala., Glenda Gayle and her husband, Greg, of Salem, Ore., Johnny Joe Creekmore and his wife, Kay, of Inola, Okla., Pamela Michelle and Tweety Farbro of Vinita, Okla., Darren Cliff Creekmore of Lansing, Kan., Kerbi Scott Creekmore and his wife, Veronica, of Claremore, Okla., Kellye Renee and her husband, David Pike, of Locust Grove, Gina Lynnette Applegate of Jay, Kimberly Lynnell and her husband, Ronnie McElroy, of Pryor, Okla., Mark Lindley Creekmore of Jay, and Gregory Kent Creekmore and his wife, Andrea, of Claremore; her former husband, Roger Kilgore of Claremore; one sister, Virginia Grider of Tahlequah, Okla.; one brother, John Potts and his wife, Wanda, of Muskogee, Okla.; two very dear friends, Angela K. Lewis and Willie Jade; 23 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

BUSTER CRITTENDEN
LEACH, Okla. - Funeral services for Buster Crittenden, 70, of Leach, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002 in the Illinois River Baptist Church in Chewey, Okla., with Rev. Gerald Fixin officiating. Burial will follow in the Crittenden Family Cemetery at Chewey under the direction of the Jones-Key Funeral Home of Locust Grove, Okla.
Mr. Crittenden was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Watts, Okla., to Still and Ookillah (Vann) Crittenden, and died Wednesday, June 26, at his home in Leach.
He grew up in the Chewey area and moved to Tulsa in the early 1950's, working in a Sand Springs steel mill as a grinder. He returned to the Leach area in 1979, and began working for the Cherokee Nation as a farm hand and raising chickens until he retired in 1993.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and building birdhouses and wooden trucks for children.
He attended Oak Lane Baptist Church in Rocky Ford, Okla.
Survivors include two sons, Eric Crittenden and his wife, Sheila, of Leach, and Perry Crittenden and his wife, Stephanie, of Kansas, Okla.; a daughter, Amy Israel and her husband, Mike, of Leach; a half-sister, Dora Mae Whaler of Chewey; four grandchildren; and a special friend, Atloa Postoak of Kansas, Okla.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary, a brother, three sisters and her parents.

MARGARET V. CROSS
NEOSHO, Mo. - Margaret V. Cross, 87, died Monday, October 28, 2002 at Granby House in Neosho.
Margaret Cross was born February 17, 1915 in Enid, Okla., to William E. and Francis (Carpenter) Woodward. She was married to Glenn E. Cross. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: two daughters, Sandra Tucker, Neosho, and Mary Carrion, Carthage, Mo.; and one sister, Lucille Bennett, Culver, Ind.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, at Rolston Cemetery with Pastor Mitch Miles officiating.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

ERNEST 'SHORTY' FOCH CROSSLEY
GROVE - Ernest "Shorty" Foch Crossley, age 83, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at Grand Lake Villa Nursing Home in Grove.
Ernest Crossley was born November 14, 1918 in Grove to James Ray and Annie (Hanna) Crossley. He was a lifetime resident of the Grove area and attended Grove Public Schools. Mr. Crossley was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He married Bessie Maples on October 1, 1938 in Grove. Mr. Crossley worked as a cement mason before retiring in 1975. He was a member of the First Assembly of God of Grove.
Survivors include: his wife, Bessie, of Grove; two daughters, Ernesteen Murry of Jay, Okla., and Barbara Barrett of Sand Springs, Okla.; two sons, Lonnie Crossley of Grove, and Rex Crossley of Sand Springs; one sister, Juanita Layman of Grove. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, at the First Assembly of God of Grove with Pastor David Talle' and Raymond Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Butler Cemetery. The Grove Veterans Ritual Team will conduct military rites. Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.

REV. RALPH E. CULVER
BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. - Rev. Ralph E. Culver, age 65, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo., after a sudden illness. He was born July 7, 1936.
Rev. Culver had lived in Baxter Springs since 1959, moving from Miami, Okla., and had lived at his present address for 15 years.
He worked for the Yellow Freight Company for 30 years and retired in 1995. He was a veteran of the 45th Infantry of the Oklahoma National Guard. He was Outreach Pastor, and an Elder of the Newsong Church of Grove. He was a member of Teamster's Local #823, past President of the Baxter Kiwanis Club, past Chairman of Cherokee County Crusade for Christ, a graduate of the Midwest Bible Institute, was Ordained with the Full Gospel Evangelistic Association and was a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God of Springfield, Mo. He has served as Associate Pastor of Bethel Community Church of Baxter Springs, Pastor of the Keelville Church of Melrose, Kan., Associate Pastor of the Spring River Assembly of God in Riverton, Kan., and is presently the Outreach Pastor at the Newsong Church at Grove where his daughter and son-in-law, Cindi and Steve Dyer, serve as pastors.
Norma J. Price and Ralph E. Culver were united in marriage on July 11, 1959 in Baxter Springs. She survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Cindi and Steve Dyer, of Fairland, Okla.; grandchildren, Jessica, Luke and Lexi Dyer of Fairland; his mother, Juanita Bitticks of Carl Junction, Mo.; his mother-in-law, Lennie Price of Baxter Springs, and a half-sister, Shawn Dudley of Carl Junction.
A son, Colby Ray Culver, proceeded in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 26, at the Newsong Assembly of God Church in Grove. Rev. Steve Dyer, Elder Clarence Grayson and Elder Creed Lillich will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery Galena, Kan. Pallbearers will be Marty Dyer, Roy Foust, Mike Powers, Creed Lillich, Chris Ramsey, and Randy Tibbits.
Visitation will be Friday, January 25, from 7-8 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Newsong Church building fund.

EVERETT DEE CUNNINGHAM
CAMERON, Mo. - Everett Dee Cunningham, 86, of Cameron, Mo., formerly of Miami and Commerce, Okla., died Wednesday September 25, 2002 in the Cameron Hospital after an illness.
Mr. Cunningham was born May 27, 1916 in Joplin, Mo., to Fred E. and Edna May (Norton) Cunningham. He lived in Miami and Commerce until 1952, when he moved to Kansas City North, Mo. He served his country during WWII and achieved the rank of T-5 in the Army Air Corps. He served honorably in the 175th Ordinance Depot Company supporting the Austrian, Luzon, and New Guinea campaigns. He was discharged at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan.
Mr. Cunningham ran the elevator in the old Security Bank building in the 1930's. In the 1960's he opened his own business, Cunningham Display Creations, Inc. He had contracts to provide inspiring displays for some of the largest companies in the Kansas City area. He maintained this business until his retirement in 1978. Following his retirement, he began to travel around the states. He visited every state capitol and crossed the Canadian provinces several times.
Survivors include: two daughters, Carol Willis of Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Virginia Hamer of Cameron, Mo.; a brother, Homer Cunningham of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. A grandson and great granddaughter preceded him in death.
Military graveside rites were at 2 p.m. Monday, September 30, conducted by members of the Northeast Oklahoma Veterans Funeral Detail in the G.A. R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla., under the direction of the Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home in Miami.

GLORIA CLARE SCHMAHL CURVAT
JOPLIN, Mo. - Gloria Clare Schmahl Curvat, age 76, of Grove, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at 11:13 pm at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. Gloria, beloved wife and mother, was born in Racine, Wis. on July 5, 1926, the daughter of the late Michael H. Schmahl and Clare Petersen Schmahl. Gloria was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church of Grove, and a dedicated and much loved member of the Women of the Moose #1771 of Grove. She was a 1947 graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Milwaukee, Wis. Mrs. Curvat retired after 41 years of service as a Registered nurse. Gloria is survived by: her husband of 53 years, Frederick T. Curvat, of Grove; three sons, Frederick Thomas Curvat, II and his wife, Dusty, of Portland, Ore., William Mark Curvat of Tampa, Fla., Henry T. Curvat and his wife, Betty, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Mary Clare, and her husband, Lowell, of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Carol Silkwood and her husband, Darold, of Frederick, Md.; a brother-in-law, James Runyan of Rossville, Ga.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Gloria was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Runyan.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, December 6, at 9 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the Mass at 11 a.m. in the Moose Lodge #2033, Grove. Gloria requested that memorial contributions be made to the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Grove.

AUDREY LOUISE DaHARB
LONGMONT, Colo. - Funeral services for Audrey Louise DaHarb, 86, of Longmont, Colo., were held Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at LifeBridge Christian Church with Rick Rusaw officiating. Cremation followed at Howe Mortuary and Crematory with interment at Parsons, Kan.
Mrs. DeHarb was born May 24, 1916, in Parsons to Edwin C. and Eula M (Henderson) Peterson and died Friday, July 5, 2002 at Peaks Care Center.
On July 6, 1934, she married Louis R. DaHarb in Parsons and she lived there until her retirement in 1977 when the couple moved to Grove, Okla. before settling in Longmont in 1988.
As an active member of the LifeBridge Christian Church, she attended the Friendly Folks Sunday School class and home Bible studies. She enjoyed Longmont Newcomers Bridge and activities and was an accomplished portrait photo color tinting artist, having worked for her father's studio. She also worked as an office manager for DaHarb Insurance, Real Estate and Brokerage and as a bookkeeper/accountant for the Kansas Ordinance Plant in Parsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an older sister and birth and her son, Frank R. "Ritchie) DaHarb.
Survivors include her husband, "Diz,"; a son, Lou DaHarb, and his wife, Peggy, of Longmont; three grandsons, Drew DaHarb and his wife, Kim, of Lafayette, Colo., Bryan DaHarb and his wife, Kristin, of West Linn Ore., and Scott DaHarb and his wife, Allie, of Englewood, Colo.; three great-granddaughters, Tori and Kelsey of Lafayette, and Alexy of West Linn, Ore.; four great-grandsons, Jake, Max and Luke DeHarb, all of West Linn, and Tyler of Englewood; and a sister, Betty E. Sloan and her husband, Earl, of Rogers, Ark.

LOUIS R. 'DIZ' DaHARB
Louis R. "Diz" DaHarb, of Longmont, Colo., died Saturday, July 13, 2002 at the Peaks Care Center. He was 91.
He was born March 2, 1911 in Parsons Kan., to Frank Samuel DaHarb and Lula (Thomasson) DaHarb, who died in the months following his Louis' birth. He was then raised by his stepmother, Anna (Springer) DaHarb.
On July 6, 1934, he married Audrey Louise (Peterson) DaHarb in Independence, Kan. The couple lived in Parsons until Mrs. DaHarb's retirement in 1977, when they moved to Grove. The settled in Longmont in 1988.
He was a member of Life Bridge Christian Church, attended the Friendly Folks Sunday school class and home Bible studies. He was an honorary member of the Longmont Rotary Club and appreciated the Longmont Senior Center activities. Mr. DaHarb was an insurance and real estate broker and owned his own agency in Parsons for over 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Audrey on July 5, 2002; a son, Frank R. "Ritchie" DaHarb; two sisters, Eleanor Gilchrist and Mary Elizabeth Justice, and a brother, Frank "Buster" DaHarb.
Survivors include: his son, Lou DaHarb, and his wife, Peggy, of Longmont; three grandsons and their families, Drew and Kim DaHarb and their daughters, Tori and Kelsey, of Lafayette, Colo., Bryan and Kristin DaHarb and their daughter, Alexy, and sons, Jake, Max and Luke, of West Linn, Ore., and Scott and Allie DaHarb and their son, Tyler, of Englewood, Colo.; cousins, Jack Weir and wife, Robbie, of Vacaville, Calif., and Tony Tovatt and wife, Marge, of Huntington Beach, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Life Bridge Christian Church with Rick Rusaw officiating. Services will conclude at the church with cremation to follow at Howe Mortuary and Crematory. Interment of remains will be in Parsons, Kan.
The family requests donations to Life Bridge Christian Church, Longmont Rotary Charity Foundation, or Longmont United Hospital Foundation in care of Howe Mortuary.

BONNIE 'MOZELL' DANIELS
WATTS, Okla. - Bonnie "Mozell" Daniels, age 84, of Watts, Okla., died March 5, 2002 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Ark. Born March 8, 1917 in the state of Kansas, she was the daughter of Jess Pittman and Edna Bowles Pittman. Mrs. Daniels was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. She was a clerk at Dotson's 5 & 10 and managed Bob Bailey's State Line Grocery Store. She was affiliated with Siloam Springs Bible Church and Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Daniels, in 1980 and one daughter, Shirley Jean Daniels.
Survivors include: one son, Johnny Daniels and wife, Annemarie, of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; two brothers, Charles Pittman and Morris Pittman, both of Siloam Springs; two granddaughters, Shanda Hooton of Siloam Springs, and Christine Ketcher of Ennis, Texas; one great-grandson, Colby McCleland; three great-granddaughters, Robbi Daniels, Bobbi Hotton, and Katie Hooton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Wasson Memorial Chapel with Brother Ray Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

NANA CLARICE DANIELS
GROVE - Nana Clarice Daniels died Wednesday, February 13, 2002. Services will be Monday, February 18, at the Cornerstone Church in Grove.
Nana Clarice Daniels will forever be in the hearts of her mother, Billie Cox; two brothers, Ralph Shelby and John Dykes; five sisters, Donna Ruhaak, Susan Gray, Betty Owens, Mary Tate, and Tammi Foster; three sons, John Mitchell, Danny Mitchell, and David Mitchell; two daughters, Dawn Langley, and Amanda Nelson; and three grandchildren, Matthew Langley, Paul Langley, and Erin Nelson.
