FRANKLIN DELANOR MAPLE
Franklin Delanor Maple, 68 year old well know Vinita businessman died early Thursday, June 12, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
He was born April 28, 1935, near Delaware, Oklahoma to Thomas N. and Vera D. (French) Maple. He was a graduate of Delaware High School. Frank married Sue Seabolt on August 25, 1961. Frank was the owner/operator of the Maple Oil Company from 1968 to 1998 in Vinita.
The family includes his wife Sue of the home, daughters Terri Baird and husband David of Grove, Suzanne Jones and husband John of Nevada, Missouri, Michelle Warren and husband Jeff of Vinita, one son Greg Maple of Vinita. Two sisters, Aline Fox of Welch, Kathryn Veley of Dewey a brother, Farley Maple of Delaware, nine grandchildren and two great grand children. Preceding him in death were his parents, one son, Russell Franklin Maple in 1974, four brothers, Clint, Bill, Curt, Eugene Maple.
The Funeral service will be held Monday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel, with Pastor Leland Bartlett, Mr. Robert Sanders, and Pastor Justin Turner officiating. Interment will follow at the Rolston Cemetery on Monkey Island. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.

LUCILLE KINSEY MARTIN
Lucille Kinsey Martin, 84, died Saturday, October 11, 2003, at her home in Hillcrest Addition after an extended illness. A longtime resident of Vinita and a community leader, she was born November 20, 1918, in Commerce, Okla., to B.F. Kinsey and Mattie O'Donohue Kinsey. She was a graduate of Grove High School and earned a B.S. degree in Education from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah. She taught many years in rural schools as well as at Welch and Ketchum and retired from Vinita Public Schools.
Mrs. Martin was a 4-H Club leader and continuous supporter of the organization, leading her group to state competition many times. Her former students still recall their experiences in the "Share the Fun" acts which she originated. She established a perpetuating scholarship at Vinita High School for a graduating senior planning to major in Education.
She was a founding member of Green Country Campers; Craig County Resource Council; and the Craig County AARP, which she and her late husband, Doyle Martin, helped organize and for which she served many years as president as well as in other offices.
She also helped organize the Vinita Senior Citizens Center; formed a Kitchen Band which entertained at Senior Day and other activities; and led numerous bus tours to many parts of the United States and especially to Branson.
She enjoyed quilting and taught classes. Family members say her happiest moments were always when helping others; and she loved her family wholeheartedly and will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Martin had been a member of Vignette's First Christian Church for more than 50 years, was active in Eastern Star, Craig County Retired Educators, North Vinita HCE Club; had served in the Silver Haired Legislature; and on the Advisory Council of Grand Gateway Area Agency on Aging and also of Legal Services of Eastern Oklahoma.
Her awards included the Bill Davis Memorial Award from Grand Gateway; Craig County Homemaker of the Year; Outstanding Older Oklahoma Woman; and National Outstanding Community Service Award.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Doyle Martin, in 1987; an infant son, Leo Kirk Martin; her parents; brothers, J.B. Kinsey of Vinita and Elmer Kinsey of Fairland, and two infant brothers, Sanford and Vestel Kinsey.
Survivors include her daughter Cheryl and husband Bob Lansdown of Bartlesville; two grandsons, Mark and wife Marnie Lansdown of Westminster, Colo., and Shane Lansdown of Stillwater; two sisters, Dorothy Ulrich of Clarkfield, Minn., and Geneva and husband Louis Frits of Vinita; a brother, Paul Kinsey of Vinita; a sister-in-law, Alene Kinsey of Fairland; numerous nieces and nephews, former students, and friends.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, at the First Christian Church, with the Rev. Henry "Skip" McClain, one of her former students, and Pastor Keith Mackey officiated.
Pallbearers at the services were Ben Frits, Frank Kinsey, Doyle Kinsey, Steve Kinsey, Jim Graham, and Kenny Ulrich. Honorary bearers were Louis Frits, James Crouch, Elmer Kinsey, Jr., Harvey Tullis, Aubrey South, and Frank Polson.
Memorials made be made to St. Francis Hospice, c/o Craig General Hospital, Vinita, or to Shriners Crippled Children's Transportation Fund, Box 243, Vinita 74301. Services were held under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home of Vinita.

JACK MASON
JOPLIN, Mo. - Jack W. Mason, 76, of Grove, Okla., died Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 2:17 a.m., at Freeman West in Joplin after a sudden illness.
Jack Mason was born August 13, 1926 in Anderson, Mo. to the late Benjamin Oda and Agnes Minnie (Williams) Mason. He had lived in Grove for 14 years, coming from Bella Vista, Ark., where he lived for four years. He lived in Tulsa, Okla. for 35 years. He grew up in Anderson, Mo. He worked at the Tulsa International Airport for 35 years, retiring in 1988 as Operations Manager. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean conflict. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Grove.
He married Betty Jo Marney on January 29, 1941. She survives of the home in Grove. Additional survivors include three daughters, Beverly Brown and Sue Derickson, both of Tulsa, Okla., and Jane Wilson of Broken Arrow, Okla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 25, from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. Then he will be taken for cremation at the Bella Vista Crematory. Interment of the ashes will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson, Mo. Rev. Lee Williams will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

JACKIE McADOO
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Jacqueline Faye McAdoo, 57-year old resident of Siloam Springs, died Friday, May 30, 2003, at her home. Born November 30, 1945, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of David and Cleathel Mason. her birth parents are Fred and Iva Mustain. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Cleathel, her birth father, Fred, and one sister, Teresa Mustain. Jackie was a lifetime resident of Siloam Springs, a graduate of Siloam Springs High School and a former employee of Simmons Foods and Franklin Electric. She was also co-owner/operator of Unique Cleaning Systems in Siloam Springs.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie McAdoo of the home; one son, James McAdoo of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Willa McAdoo of West Siloam Springs, Okla. and Debbie Phillips of Bentonville, Ark.; three grandsons, Kyle Shaw, Dusty Duncan and Riley McAdoo; one granddaughter, Nicki Duncan; four sisters, Barbara Melton, Darlene Tyler, Patsy Durbin, Brenda Hickman; one brother, Billy Mustain; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 3, at 3 p.m., at Elm Springs Cemetery with Bro. Hugh Woolard officiating.

GEORGIA D. MCARTHUR
Georgia D. McArthur was born April 24, 1924 and died July 3, 2003. Survivors are husband Bob McArthur, Sr.; son Bob, Jr.; and brother Ted Daniels.
A former resident of Grove, Okla., Georgia died peacefully the morning of July 3 at her son's residence in Young Harris, Ga. Georgia was a founding member of the Grace Presbyterian Church of Grove. She was a former director of the Webster-Hunt Art & Crafts Assn.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Holly Hill Cemetery near Blairsville, Ga.

CALVIN RAY McCLAIN
PRYOR, Okla. - Funeral services for Calvin Ray McClain, 53, of Pryor will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the First Assembly of God Church in Pryor.
Rev. Francis Berka, Sr. and Rev. Frank Monahan will officiate. Burial will follow in the McClain Cemetery in Locust Grove, Okla., with services under the direction of the Key Funeral Home of Pryor. Mr. McClain was born on June 5, 1949 in Locust Grove. He died on January 11, 2003 in Pryor.
The son of Ellis and Lillie (Standingwater) McClain, Calvin grew up and attended school in Locust Grove. He had been employed by Ralston Purina, Georgia Pacific, and currently was employed by the Williams Construction Company of Pryor as a warehouseman. His hobbies included fishing and being with people. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jackson McClain and Richard Parchcorn; one sister, Maggie Lacrone; and his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Ramona, of the home; three daughters, Stephanie Oothoudt and husband, Duane, of Cass Lake, Minn., Adrianne Bark and husband, Walter, of Pryor, Jackie Berka and husband, Richard, of Salina. Okla.; five grandchildren, Christopher, Alexander, Aaron, Colby and Rachel Nicole.; four brothers, Charles Standingwater of Locust Grove, Earnest Parchorn of Kansas, Okla., Terry McClain of Locust Grove, Luny McClain of Pryor; two sisters, Ruth Ann Jones of Inola, Okla. and Rebecca Sac of Locust Grove; and host of other relatives and friends.

HAROLD LEE McCOWN
GROVE, Okla. - Harold Lee McCown, 75, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, at Duffield Cemetery, Jay, with Rev. Curtis Dixon officiating.
Harold McCown was born on November 20, 1928 in Jay, Okla., to Clyde Lee and Mary Ella (Hogan) McCown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Occupation Forces in Japan. He served as a Flight Engineer. He married Beatrice Brashears on April 1, 1975. She preceded him in death on September 17, 2003. Harold worked as a water treatment plant operator in Shawnee, Okla. he helped at Grove Nursing Center when he was able. He had lived in Grove since June, 1995, moving from Shawnee, Okla.
Survivors include one daughter Judy Jones and husband Clayton of Fouke, Ark.; two sisters, Betty Dixon and husband Curtis of Oklahoma City and Claudia Ammons of Shawnee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, 107 S. Broadway, Grove.

BARRY D. McCLURE
GROVE - Barry D. McClure of Grove died Wednesday, March 27, 2003 at the Freeman Health Center in Joplin, Mo. He was 49.
Barry was born December 28, 1953 to Joe McClure and Sarah Miller at Columbus, Kan. He worked as a hairdresser at Class Acte Beauty Shop in Grove for 10 years. Barry loved all animals and he usually took his dogs everywhere he went.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah Miller of Neosho, Mo.; two brothers, Darryl McClure of Neosho, Mo. and Mike McClure of Gentry, Ark.; one sister, Laurissa McClure of Lakeland, Fla.
Services were Friday, March 28, 2003 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.

ROY LEE MCCOMBS
COLCORD, Okla. - Roy Lee McCombs, 67, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died November 25, 2003, at his home. Born August 24, 1936 in Colcord, he was the son of Orvil McCombs and Marie Lynn McCombs. He was an employee at Fibercast Fiberglass and lived most of his life in the Colcord area.
Survivors include two sons, David McCombs of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Denny McCombs of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and one sister, Juanita McCombs of Claremore, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, at the Row Church of God Holiness, near Colcord, with Pastor Dennis Weeks officiating. Burial followed at Row Cemetery, Delaware County, Oklahoma. Arrangements were under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

DENNIS THEODORE McCULLY, JR.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Dennis Theodore McCully, Jr., 46 of Kansas, Okla., passed away on March 21, 2003 at Fayetteville.
McCully was born on March 6, 1957, at Tulsa, Okla., to Dennis and Jean McCully, of Kansas. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Post #45 in Kansas.
Dennis McCully, Jr. is survived by two daughters, Chailla Michelle McCully of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Jennifer Renee McCully of Tulsa; one grandson, Dillon McCully of Tulsa; parents, Dennis and Jean McCully of Kansas; two brothers, Billy McCully and wife, Glenda of Kansas and Chuck McCully and wife, Kathy of Sand Springs, Okla.; one sister, Jeanne Yarbrough and husband, Emmett of Sand Springs; and a host of loving friends and relatives.
Graveside services are planned for Tuesday, March 25, at 11 a.m., at Prue Cemetery in Prue, Okla., Rev. Garry McDevitt officiating. Burial will follow at Prue Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel in Tulsa.

RICKY G. MCDONALD
TOPEKA, Kan. - Ricky G. McDonald, age 53, died Monday, January 13, 2003. Mr. McDonald was born in Texas on March 9, 1949 to Gene E. and Dora M. Mcdonald. Mr. McDonald was raised in Oklahoma and moved to Topeka when he was 18. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by: two sons, Joseph E. McDonald of Topeka and Carl Lee McDonald of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Jack McDonald of Jay; and one sister, Becky McDonald, also of Jay.
Mr. McDonald will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions maybe made to the Ricky McDonald Memorial Fund, in care of Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas, Topeka.

RUBY "GA GA" MCDONALD
BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - Ruby McDonald, known affectionately to all as GaGa, died Friday December 26, 2003 in the Grove Nursing Center, at the age of 91. The daughter of George and Myrtle (Caphart) Black, she was born on August 30, 1912 in Muskogee, Okla. She moved to Bartlesville at an early age. She married Donald McDonald on August 18, 1933 and he preceded her in death on April of 1977. She was a beautician and had McDonald Beauty Salon for 25 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving family members are a son, Robert D. McDonald and wife Kay of Grove, Okla.; grandchildren Todd McDonald and wife Kathleen of Venice, Fla. and Lisa Allston and husband Dave of Coppel, Texas; brother-in-law Richard "Dick" McDonald and wife of Rockport, Texas; cousin Lillian Moeller and husband Lou of Bartlesville; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held on Monday, December 29, at graveside in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville. Services were under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel funeral home in Grove.
