Arla Ruth Shreeve
The memorial service for Arla Ruth Shreeve will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Chapel. Pastor Ron McKay will officiate. Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Mrs. Shreeve, 80, of Medford, died Thursday (Jan. 6, 2000) in Providence Medford Medical Center.

She was born April 16, 1919, in Coos Bay, a daughter of James and Estella (Gibson) Clark. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1932 from Myrtle Point.
On April 25, 1936, in Medford, she married George H. Shreeve, who died in 1997.
Mrs. Shreeve was a rural paper carrier for the Mail Tribune for 20 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, cooking and gardening.
Survivors include three sons, James W., Medford, George H., Shady Cove, and Michael C., Sams Valley; a daughter, Patricia Livingston, White City; a brother, Vern Clark, North Bend; a sister, Doris Hensley, Folsom, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, E.E. Clark, in 1991.

Wayne H. House
Wayne H. House, 50, of Lakeville, Minn., formerly of Shady Cove, died Dec. 25, 1999, in Lakeville. The memorial service was held Dec. 30, 1999, in Lakeville. The Rev. Jamie Thompson of Faith Lutheran Church officiated.

He was born June 9, 1949, in Medford, a son of Gene and Virginia House. He lived in Shady Cove from 1949 to 1969, and graduated from Eagle Point High School.
On Feb. 22, 1969, in Shady Cove, he married Carolyn Sue Lowery, who survives.
Mr. House was a computer design engineer for Lockheed.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 12 years.
Mr. House participated in church leadership at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and making jewelry.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Larry and Tony, Lakeville, Minn.; his mother, Virginia House, Medford; his father, Gene, Eagle Point; two brothers, Mike, Medford, and Bruce, Eagle Point; and one grandchild.

Martha Lyman
Martha Lyman, 95, of Jacksonville, died Friday (Jan. 7, 2000) in Medford. Private interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park in Spokane, Wash.
She was born Martha Schwabauer on June 9, 1904, in Hotchkiss, Colo.
In 1934, in Miles City, Mont., she married Paul Lyman, who died in 1980. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Spokane in 1992.
Mrs. Lyman was a furrier in Spokane for many years.
She was a member of the Norwegian Lutheran Church in Spokane.
Mrs. Lyman was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed painting and gardening.
Survivors include a son, Charles Carlisle, Flint, Mich.; a sister, Helen Hein, Jacksonville; two brothers, John Schwabauer, Gering, Neb., and Daniel Schwabauer, Yakima, Wash; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Dorothy June Barnum
The funeral Mass for Dorothy June Barnum will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mrs. Barnum, 79, of Medford, died Thursday (Jan. 6, 2000) in Three Fountains Care Center.
She was born June 27, 1920, in Ashland, a daughter of Walter and Mabel J. Smith. She lived in the Rogue Valley all her life and was the third generation of a pioneer Rogue Valley family.
On July 17, 1938, in Grants Pass, she married Robert E. Barnum, who survives.
Mrs. Barnum worked at J.C. Penney and at Rogue River Packing Co.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mrs. Barnum was active in the PTA and as a Girl Scout leader.
She enjoyed homemaking and camping.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three daughters, Barbara Nygren and Patt Spielbusch, both Medford, and Teresa Barnum, Shady Cove; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Helen Scott
Helen Mildred Scott, 67, of Central Point, died Friday (Jan. 7, 2000) at her home. No service is planned.

Mrs. Scott was born Helen Mildred Bowers on May 8, 1932, in Salinas, Calif. On May 8, 1948, in Delano, Calif., she married James W. Scott, who survives.
The family moved to the Rogue Valley from Delano in 1953. Mrs. Scott worked as a clerk and a telephone receptionist for United Telephone Company in White City and Double D Electric of Medford. Mrs. Scott enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors in addition to her husband, include two sons, James W. and Robert F. of Medford; two daughters, Jayne E. Roush of White City and Peggy G. Kerr of Medford; two sisters, Gayle Hacksworth of Gold Hill and Patty Moore of Florida; three brothers, Kenneth Leard of Sams Valley, Rusty Leard of Medford and Earl Leard of Corning, Calif.; eight grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.

Donna Jean Wilson
A private family service will be held for Donna Jean Wilson. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Miss Wilson died Saturday (Jan. 8, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.
She was born April 26, 1928, in New Rockford, N.D. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1978 from Fargo, N.D. Miss Wilson worked as a bookkeeper in the construction industry.
She was active in the Congregational Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, sewing and knitting.
Survivors include two nephews, a niece, three great-nephews and two aunts. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ilean Esther Williams
The memorial service for Ilean Esther Williams will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Eagle Point National Cemetery. Chaplain Paul Hagedorn of Providence Hospice will officiate.
Mrs. Williams, 63, of White City, died Thursday (Jan. 6, 2000) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

She was born April 9, 1936, in San Diego.
On Feb. 7, 1959, in Las Vegas, she married John Ernest Williams Sr., who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1976 from Kingman, Ariz.
Mrs. Williams was a restaurant waitress and cashier.
She enjoyed reading, arts and crafts.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four sons, John E. Jr., Central Point, James A. Sr., Sams Valley, William Jack, Kingman, Ariz., and Randy, Pomona, Calif.; seven daughters, Shirley Register, Eagle Point, Nina Boaz, White City, Tina Schmitz, Central Point, Annette Brumback and Frona Williams, both Yuma, Ariz., Michelle Billingsley, Phoenix, Ariz., and Jody Long, Pomona, Calif.; a brother, Ernest Nelson, Imperial, Calif.; a sister, Marla, in Texas; 29 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Colliver.
