Susan Marleen Crouch
The memorial service for Susan Marleen Crouch will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Conger-Morris Chapel in Medford. Pastor Lou Schneider of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate.
Mrs. Crouch, 43, of Medford, died Sunday (Aug. 1, 1999) in Medford.

She was born Susan Rodgers on Nov. 10, 1955, in Portland, a daughter of Claud and Ena Rodgers. She graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1974.
On Oct. 15, 1984, in Klamath Falls, she married Robert L. Crouch, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley 12 years ago from Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Crouch worked for Fred Meyer in Medford.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Josh Lee Tichenor, and a daughter, Alicia Tichenor, both Medford; her mother, Ena Rodgers, Klamath Falls; a brother, Brad Rodgers, Merrill; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Claud Rodgers.

`Richard' B. Haynes
"Richard" B. Haynes, 75, of Medford, died Tuesday (Aug. 3, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center. A private service will be held.
He was born Feb. 10, 1924, in Union City.
On Nov. 13, 1944, in El Paso, Texas, he married Opal Mae Hodges, who survives.
Mr. Haynes was a millworker.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Haynes enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Donald, Medford; three daughters, LaVonna Samek, Medford, Anna Belle Davis, Jacksonville, and Mary Sue Range, McMinnville; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Orris Reade Julian
Friends may pay their respects to Orris Reade Julian from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Conger-Morris Funeral Directors, Medford. The day was incorrect in Thursday's obituary.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Conger-Morris Chapel. Pastor Charles Symmank will officiate.
Mr. Julian, 77, of Medford, died Monday (Aug. 2, 1999) at Medford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Nita Birdseye
The memorial service for Nita Blakeway Birdseye will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church in Medford. The Rev. Joyce DeGraaff of First Presbyterian Church and the Revs. Cal Chinn and John Braund, former associate pastors, will officiate.
Mrs. Birdseye, 90, died Tuesday (July 6, 1999) at her home at the Rogue Valley Manor.

Sue Collins
The memorial service for Sue Collins will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in White City Christian Church, 3100 Antelope Road. Pastor Lyle McCaw of White City Christian Church will officiate.
Ms. Collins, 63, of White City, died Tuesday (Aug. 3, 1999) at her home.
She was born April 12, 1936, in Muncie, Ind., a daughter of Russell and Lucille Collins. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1969 from San Jose, Calif.
Ms. Collins worked as a ticket seller at Cascade Bingo in White City for the past 2 years.
She enjoyed her dog, Ginger, playing bingo and reading.
Survivors include three daughters, Regina Elwood, Cindy McClanahan and Barbara Chappell, all White City; two stepsons, Leslie and Jeffery Gourneau, both Medford; two brothers, Gola "Pete" Collins, Central Point, and Russell E. Collins, White City; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Roberta Jo Lewis
Roberta Jo Lewis, 68, of Eagle Point, died Tuesday (Aug. 3, 1999) in Medford. No service is planned.

She was born Roberta Craig on Sept. 10, 1930, in Esbon, Kan.
On Feb. 10, 1951, in Las Vegas, she married Carl D. Lewis, who survives.
Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Randy, Elko, Nev., and Scott, Reno, Nev.; a daughter, Carla Reed, Elko, Nev.; two brothers, Jerry Craig, Eagle Point, and Lee Craig, Brookings; a sister, Beverly Maier, Eagle Point; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Bettie L. Wilson
The graveside service for Bettie L. Wilson will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Memorial Park-Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.
Mrs. Wilson, 71, of Rogue River, died Sunday (Aug. 1, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center.

She was born Bettie Price on Nov. 14, 1927, in Harlingen, Texas.
On Dec. 7, 1987, in Las Vegas, she married William Wilson, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1988 from Sylmar, Calif.
Mrs. Wilson was group leader on assembly for Bendix/Allied Signal Ocean Systems.
In California, she was a KOPS runner-up for State Queen.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Catholic Church.
She enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include two daughters, Melody Calhoun, Rogue River, and Donna Zearbaugh, Palmdale, Calif.; a brother, Jerry Price, in Canada; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son.

Betty Jean Mercer
The memorial service for Betty Jean Mercer will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Chapel, Bellinger and Arnold Lane, Medford.
Mrs. Mercer, 56, of Medford, died Monday (Aug. 2, 1999) at her home.
She was born Betty Slayback on Jan. 30, 1943, in Los Angeles.
On March 27, 1978, in Great Falls, Mont., she married Marvin M. Mercer, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley 14 years ago from Great Falls, Mont.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Kelly Burton, Medford, and Bruce Burton, Fresno, Calif.; four daughters, Erin Koch, White City, Janeane Eldridge, Rogue River, Joni Montoy, Kerman, Calif., and Natalie E. Biagni, Austin, Texas.; a brother, Bob Slayback, Lodi, Calif.; two sisters, Madeline Belloli, Merced, Calif., and Dotty Machado, Oakhurst, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Mortuary.
Elizabeth Nunes
The funeral for Elizabeth "Jeannie" Nunes will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Reese Creek Christian Center in Eagle Point. Pastor Tom Reimer will officiate. The graveside service will follow at Butte Falls Cemetery.
Mrs. Nunes, 68, of Butte Falls, died Monday (Aug. 2, 1999) at her son's home in Eagle Point.
She was born Elizabeth Oden on July 7, 1931, in Medford, a daughter of William "Bill" and Mildred Smith Oden. She lived in the Butte Falls area most of her life, and attended both Butte Falls schools.
On July 3, 1948, in Medford, she married George William Nunes, who survives.
Mrs. Nunes was a homemaker.
She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and reading Louis L'Amour books.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, George William "Bill" Nunes Jr., Eagle Point, and Lawrence Blaine "Larry" Nunes Butte, Mont.; a daughter, Karen Irene Davis, Butte Falls; two brothers, William "Bill" Oden Jr., and Jerry Oden, both Medford; a sister, Maryann Watson, Medford; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and James Oden.

Julie Ann Spencer
Friends and relatives of Julie Ann Spencer will gather at 4 p.m. today at 1275 South Park Drive, Grants Pass.
Ms. Spencer, 37, of Grants Pass, died Monday (Aug. 2, 1999) at her home.

She was born June 14, 1962, in San Jose, Calif., a daughter of Raymond and Gloria Spencer.

Survivors include her parents; three brothers, Raymond Jr., Tim, and Nahum, all Grants Pass; three sisters, Elizabeth Mason, Rogue River, Tammi Spencer, Grants Pass, and Diana Spencer, Sunny Valley.
