Harry R. Barber, Sr.
Harry R. Barber, Sr., 68, of Nicholson passed away at the Scranton Regional Hospital Sept. 15, 2014. He was born in Rush Twp on Dec. 20, 1945 the son of the late John W. and Flora Winnie Barber. He married the former Renay Casselbury on March 28, 1961. Harry worked most of his life at Novitche’s Truck Repair as a diesel mechanic. Harry enjoyed fishing, camping, painting, drawing, and spending time with his family. Harry loved fishing for anything that would fit in a frying pan. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children John Barber and Harry Barber Jr. of Nicholson, Edward and Marry Barber of Lake Winola, Robert and Amy Barber of Nicholson, and Joyce Burns of Dushore, sister Martha and Edward Simpson of Watertown, NY, brother Roy Barber of Elmira, NY, a special grandson Dean Barber of Nicholson, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4pm Sunday Sept. 21 at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. with Rev. Gary Myers of the Biblical Baptist Church of Meshoppen officiating. Friends may call from 3pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at 11am at the Bradford County Memorial Park, Towanda on Monday Sept. 22.

Amy T. Kosek Manning
Amy T. Kosek Manning, 49, of Tunkhannock passed away at the Celtic Hospice Care Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Sunday morning after a year and a half battle with cancer. She was born in Bristol, Pa. on Aug. 20, 1965 she was the daughter of Carol Anne Remley Kosek and George and Shirley Teel Kosek. Amy was a machinist at Pulverman Dallas and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Kevin Kosek and her grandmother Amy Remley In addition to her parents and stepmother Amy is survived her children Richard, Elizabeth, Michael, and Daisey Cook all of Tunkhannock, and a sister Terry Wright of Florida, a brother George A. Kosek of Tunkhannock, stepbrothers Eric Roberts of Garland Texas and also Preston Quick of Woodbridge Va and 8 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Thursday Oct. 9, at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Ernie King Officiating. Friends may call from 6pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place at the Camptown cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Celtic Health Care 25 Church St. Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 18702 or the Wyoming County Cancer Society 8 Ironwood St. Tunkhannock, Pa. 18657.

Dylan J. Ross
Dylan J. Ross, 8 months 20 days old, died Sunday morning in Scranton. Born in Scranton on January 22nd the son of Joelyn Ross of Scranton. Dylan will be deeply missed by his family. Surviving besides his mother are a sister Jacqueline McCabe and a brother Kevin Ross both at home. Maternal grandparents James and Joanne Ross of Hop Bottom, uncle James Ross of Factoryville and aunt Jenny and her husband Chad McDonald of Jackson. Funeral service will be Thursday at 7pm at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville. Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before service time.

John W. Anderson, Sr.
John W. Anderson, Sr., 89, of Tunkhannock passed away at the Tyler Memorial Hospital Wednesday evening. He was born in Tunkhannock on Sept. 7, 1925 the son of the late Miles and Beulah Blossom Anderson. John was a graduate of the Tunkhannock High School and went on to marry the late Romayne Anderson. He was a WWII war veteran who served in the Pacific Theatre. He was retired from Endicott Johnson Shoe Company. John enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and his animals especially his beagle. He is survived by his 5 sons; John, JR. and wife Judy, Randy Craig, George and wife Susan, Bruce Warren and wife Jodi, all of Tunkhannock and David Allen of Notosulga Al. 2  daughters; Patricia Louise of Tunkhannock and Emma Jane and husband Ed of Derby KS. brothers; Nelson, Ralph and wife Joan, Lyle, Raymond and wife Holly. sisters; Shirley Weaver and Thelma Anderson. 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents John is preceded in death by a daughter Susan Mae Minzak. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30pm at the Harding-Litwin Funeral home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Gary Myers of the Meshoppen Biblical Baptist church officiating. Friends may call from 7-9pm on Sunday. Interment will be at the Sunnyside cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Tunkhannock Ambulance Association P.O. Box 322 Tunkhannock, Pa. 18657.

Marie Hayes
Marie Hayes, 85, of Springville passed away at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas on Wednesday Oct. 15, 2014. She was born on Sept. 22, 1929 in East Orange, NJ the daughter of the late Dennis and Sarah O’Rouke. She was married to Raymond Hayes for 47 years. In addition to her husband Marie is survived by her children: James Walsh of NJ, Linda DeMatteo of Fl, Teresa Jones, David Walsh, Richard Walsh, Doreen Walsh all of NJ, Brian Hayes of Pa, Kevin Hayes of N.J. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Lynn cemetery, Springville.

Antoinette Altieri
Antoinette Altieri, 95, formerly of Dalton died Friday morning at Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock. Born in Scranton on January 16th 1919, the daughter of the late Carmine and Adelaide DeStefano Verdetto. Her husband the late Carmine Altieri Sr. died in 1995. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting Afghans for the family. The family would like to thank the Staff at Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock for their care and compassion towards their mother. Besides her husband Antoinette is preceded in death by her five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two  daughters Theresa Hopkins of Dalton, Adelaide Warenzak of LaPlume and a son Carmine Altieri Jr. of Tunkhannock. Five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be Saturday at 10 am from the Our Lady of the Abingtons Church 700 W Main St, Dalton, with  Father Thomas Petro officiating, everyone is asked to go directly to church. Interment will be at Fairlawn cemetery, Dalton. Service are being handled by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc.. Donald Rogers
Donald Rogers, 73 of Lemon Twp. died Wednesday afternoon. He was born in Lemon Twp. on October 28th 1940 the son of the late Warren and Mildred Fisher Rogers. His wife Marie Ann Rogers died on April 27th 2003. Donald graduated from the Tunkhannock Area High School and was a Navy veteran. After he was in the military he went on to work at Proctor and Gamble and eventually retired. He belonged to the Green ridge and East Lemon Sportsman Clubs and he was a member of the Black Walnut American Legion. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son Jody and enjoyed planting, haying, and working his land. Don will be greatly missed by his by his beagle Lucy and he will be remembered by his big smile and even bigger heart by all the lives he had touched he was always there to lend a helping hand. Don is survived by his sister Fay Henry, brothers Douglas and Dwayne and wife Luann Rogers all of Factoryville, son Jody Roger and Fiancé Sandy Peoples of Factoryville, two  daughters, Nicole Corker of NJ, and Breanne Peoples of Salt Lake City Utah, and Don was a devoted and caring uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11am on Saturday Oct. 25 at the Harding- Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Margie McCarty of the West Nicholson United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call from 9am until the time of the service on Saturday. Interment to follow at the Sunnyside cemetery, Tunkhannock. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the West Nicholson United Methodist Church P.O. Box 151, Nicholson, and PA 18446.

Miriam Witter Walton
Miriam Witter Walton, formerly of Factoryville, passed away in Westminster, Colorado, on October 11, 2014. She attained the age of 101 years on May 14. Miriam was born in Berkshire, NY in 1913 and moved with her family to Factoryville in 1931. She met and married her husband of 65 years soon after arriving in town. Miriam worked for the Davis & Jones Insurance Agency, was a member and Past Matron of the Oriental Order of the Eastern Star, and was the oldest member of the First Baptist Church of Factoryville. She lived independently in her home on Riverside Drive until the age of 94. In later years, Miriam lived with her daughter in Eaton Township; then was a resident of the Methodist Manor in Tunkhannock for a year prior to moving to Colorado in 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Walton, Jr. and son Thomas Witter Walton. She is survived by two  daughters: Kathryn "Kay" Stencel and son-in-law Leo, Westminster, CO, and Glenda Jensen, Arvada, CO; four grandchildren: Lorene (Stephen) Szajkowski of Durango, CO, Nicholas (Jody, MD) Stencel, Esq. of Thousand Oaks, CA, Susan Jensen and Kathryn “Kathy” (Shames) Stevens of Arvada, CO; and four great grandchildren: Brittany and Cameron Stevens, and Kelly and Jake Stencel. A memorial service will be held at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville on Nov. 8 at 2:00 PM with the Pastor Paul Fields officiating. Charles H. Davis
Charles H. Davis, 81 of Leraysville Rd. Rome,Pa died Friday at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on January 30, 1933, the son of the late Samuel Rosser and Amella Hess Davis. Charles was married to the former Roberta Doll of Kingston for 56 years. Charles was a 1951 graduate of the Beaumont High School and attended Bloomsburg University and was appointed to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Piont, NY, where he graduated with a BS degree in marine Transportation and a 3rd Mates License Over the years he worked up to a Master (captain) in the Merchant Marines and was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. While on active duty he was commanding offices of the US Naval Reserve Training Center Wilkes Barre, Pa. Over the years he sailed throughout the world on both tankers and bulk freighters and he was involved in the Gulf War. He also earned a masters degree in Geography from Suny Binghamton University. He taught physics and Earth Science at Wyalusing High School and he taught chemistry and earth science in Binghamton, NY. He was also involved with the Calhoon MEBA engineering school for officers upgrading their licenses. Charles was an extra class radio amateur, conversationally adequate in Spanish, enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, and was especially proud of his homemade Chili and Squirrel Stew. He also had a very caring and generous heart. In addition to his parents Charles was preceded in death by his daughter in law Christel Davis. He is survived by his wife Roberta, sister Priscilla and husband William Perry of Orange, Pa, twin brother Thomas and wife Susan Davis of Beaumont, Pa, and a brother George William and wife Jean Davis of Indianapolis. Children; Charles T. Davis of Massena, NY, Robert H. Davis of Rome, Pa, Raymond Arthur Davis of Mansfield, Pa. Grandchildren; Timothy Reissman and wife Megan of Chicago, Kristen Davis of Boston, Stefanie Davis of Massena, NY, Zachary Davis Massena NY, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Oct. 30th at 10am from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor David Pitcher and Margaret Clark officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7pm Wednesday. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at the Wellsboro cemetery. CARMELLA H. IANNOZZI
Carmella H. (Cardamone) Iannozzi, mother of five, grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of one, died Monday afternoon, April 2, 2001. She was 85 years old. A lifelong resident of Conshohocken, she had been a resident of Gwynedd Square Center in Upper Gwynedd since 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William Iannozzi.
Born Dec. 30, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Mae (Coniglio) Cardamone. She was an honors graduate of St. Matthew's High School and Burrows School of Business.
Mrs. Iannozzi was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church and St. Rita Sodality of the Conshohocken Parish.
Three of her many loves in life were, entertaining family and friends, gardening , and her many years of service as a cub scout den mother.
She is survived by a brother, Victor Cardamone of Phoenixville; a sister, Francis Bedrossian of Conshohocken; five children, William Iannozzi of Absecon, NJ, Robert Iannozzi of Hatfield, Jeremiah Iannozzi of Norristown, Thomas Iannozzi of Dallas, TX and Carmella Iannozzi of Conshohocken; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Cardamone.
A Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 6, at 10:30 A.M. in SS. Cosmas and Damian Church. Interment will be in St. Matthew's cemetery. Friends and family may call at the church between 9 and 10:30 A.M., prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted, in Carmella Iannozzi's name, by the Alzheimer Association, 325 Chestnut St., Suite 1120, Phila., PA 19106. Arrangements are by the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken.

FLOYD C. CRESSMAN
Floyd C. Cressman, 82, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Sellersville, died at his residence on Saturday morning, March 31, 2001. He and his wife, Viola E. (Lengyel) Ruth Cressman, would have observed their 34th wedding anniversary on the 22nd of April. A resident of Sellersville for many years, he moved to Melbourne, FL in 1985.
Born in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Horace D. and Ella B. (Cassel) Cressman. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during WW II.
Mr. Cressman was employed as a foreman by the Hunter Spring Division of Ametek Inc. in Hatfield, until his retirement in 1983.
While residing in this area, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Lansdale.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Clayton Ruth of Melbourne, FL and Dennis K. Worman and his wife, Jennifer, of Sellersville; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Hosgood and her husband, Greg, of Telford; five grandchildren; and a sister, Della Minninger of Telford.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna (McDowell) Cressman, in April of 1966; five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, at 12 noon in the David R. Sadler Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford. Interment , Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville. Family will receive friends from 11 AM to 12 noon, prior to the service.

CONCETTA JAMPO
Concetta "Chetty" Jampo, 81, of Ambler, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, in Abington Memorial Hospital, after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic P. Jampo Jr., in 1996.
Born Aug. 14, 1919, in Whitpain Twp., she was a daughter of the late Biago and Anna (Varallo) Mallozzi.
She was the operator of the former Jampo's Market in West Ambler. Following that, she was a store clerk at the Ambler Drug Store, Springhouse Pharmacy and Beth-Pike Pharmacy, prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Jampo was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler. She belonged to St. Alphonsus Senior Citizens in Maple Glen.
She is survived by a son, John S. Jampo of Ambler; a daughter, Mary Ann Bullamore of Ambler; three grandchildren, John S. Jampo Jr., Jeff Jampo and Suzanne Bullamore; two great-grandchildren, Hayley Jampo and Dominic D.J. Jampo; and two brothers, Stephen Mallozzi and Louis Mallozzi, both of Ambler.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Gradin.
Relatives and friends may call Friday from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Joseph's Church, Main and Poplar streets in Ambler, followed by a funeral Mass at 12:30 PM, with the Rev. Msgr. Stephen McHenry, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Church, as celebrant. Interment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Prospectville.
Remembrances in her name to St. Anthony's Rebuilding Fund, 259 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA 19002, or the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428-1190, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are by Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, Inc. in Ambler.

LAURA VIRGINIA MYERS
Laura Virginia Myers, 65, of Blue Bell, died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Chestnut Hill Hospital, due to complications from breast cancer. She was the wife of Charles E. Myers, former sports editor of The Reporter newspaper. The couple had been married for 42 years.
Born Sept. 4, 1935 in Abington, she was the daughter of the late William Clayton and Laura Virginia (McFedridge) Irvin. She graduated from the former Ambler High School, Class of 1953, and Temple University, Class of 1957.
She was self employed as an independent beauty consultant and team manager with Mary Kay Cosmetics and a private piano instructor. She formerly was a home economics teacher in the Wissahickon and Springfield school districts and a longtime substitute teacher for Wissahickon School District.
Mrs. Myers was a lifelong member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Ambler, where she was a choir member and formerly served as a Sunday school teacher and youth leader.
She was a former leader of the Montgomery County 4-H Sheep Club and a member of Liberty Trails General Federation Women's Club and Tedyuscung Chapter of Questers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Laren and Gregory, both of Collegeville, and William of Bountiful, UT; one daughter, Karen, of Philadelphia; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7, at 10:30 A.M. at Calvary United Methodist Church, Park and Lindewold avenues, in Ambler. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Calvary Church, 9 Park Ave., Ambler, PA 19002, or, the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association, 12 Morris Road, Ambler, PA 19002, or, Chestnut Hill Health Care Women's Center, 8811 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118. Arrangements are by the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, Ambler.

MATILDA SARAFINAS
Matilda (Mocey) Sarafinas, age 85, died Monday evening, April 2, 2001 in the medical facility of Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell.
Formerly of Philadelphia, she was the wife of the late Jerry J. Sarafinas.
The funeral and interment will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Rose of Lima Church, 428 S. Main St., North Wales, PA 19454. Longenecker Funeral Home in North Wales is entrusted with the arrangements.

WANDA UNDERKOFFLER
Wanda N. Underkoffler, age 75, of Tavares, FL, formerly of Sellersville, died Saturday morning, March 31, 2001, in the Hospice House of Tavares, where she had been a patient for several months.

HARRIET B. ALTHOUSE
Harriet B. Althouse, age 88, of Foulkeways at Gwynedd, formerly of Gwynedd Valley, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 in Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington. She was the wife of the late James W. Althouse Jr., who preceded her in death in 1978. The couple had been married for 36 years.
Born Nov. 3, 1912, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Marshall C. and Maud (Bell) Piper. She was a graduate of the former West Chester State Teacher's College in West Chester.
Mrs. Althouse taught the second grade and art in the North Penn School District for many years and often commented that she had the pleasure of teaching the children of her former students. Following her retirement in 1974, she tutored reading.
As a world traveler, she visited many exciting destinations and loved them all. She belonged to and traveled with a wine-tasting group by the name of Tastevin.
Mrs. Althouse was a longtime member of the Church of the Messiah in Gwynedd.
She was an amateur artist and potter with the Lansdale Art League.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha J. Althouse of North Wales; her son, James W. Althouse III and his wife, Sara J., of Hudson, OH; her grandchildren, James D. Althouse and Caroline B. Althouse; her sisters, Elizabeth Sheets, Catherine Smith and Suzanne May; and her sister-in-law, Jacwyn Bowman.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral in the Church of the Messiah, DeKalb Pike, Gwynedd, Monday, April 9 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Michael's cemetery, Sellersville. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Church of the Messiah, P.O. Box 127, Gwynedd, PA 19436. Arrangements are entrusted to the Longenecker Funeral Home in North Wales.

DONNA LYN FEY
Donna Lyn Fey, age 45, died April 4, 2001. She was the wife of David P. Greger Sr. of Whitpain Township.
Born Dec. 22, 1955 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Dorothy M. (Fulton) Weinholt of St. Louis, MO and the late Ralph C. Fey. She graduated from International High School in Seoul, Korea in 1972 and the University of Hawaii in 1976.
Ms. Fey was a psychotherapist with Sadar Psychological Services, 450 North Wales Rd., Lansdale.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Mark. A. Greger and David P. Greger Jr.; grandsons, Matthew Greger and Adam Greger; and her brother, Ralph C. Fey Jr.
In addition to her  Father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth.
Services will be private and are entrusted to the Longenecker Funeral Home in North Wales. Contributions in Donna's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
