Dolores J. Amatucci, 59, of Latrobe, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1941, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Christina Bucci Diorio. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe. She is survived by her husband, William R. Amatucci; a son, William E. Amatucci and wife, Kimberly, of Lorton, Va.; a daughter, Angela K. Brody and husband, Thomas, of Blairsville; a sister, Beverly A. Diorio of Latrobe; three grandchildren, Ryan, Nicholas and Christina; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Thomas Lukac as celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Mary's cemetery, Unity Township.

Miriam Elizabeth (Parmer) Beltz, 92, of Latrobe, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born May 20, 1909, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Elias W. and Dora (Tilbrook) Parmer. She was a member of the Latrobe Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Beltz, on Nov. 7, 1967; two brothers, Roy D. Palmer and Raymond E. Parmer; and two sisters, Dorothy M. Parmer and Katherine Mary (Parmer) Mattern. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. John D. (Dolores) Angus of Greensburg; her son, Robert J. Beltz and his wife, Rhona, of Latrobe; her sister, Edith Breen and husband, William, of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Carol Lynn Wood and husband, James, of East Liverpool, Ohio, John J. Angus and wife, Cheryl, of Latrobe, Glenn E. Beltz and wife, Danielle, of Goleta, Calif., David J. Beltz of Pittsburgh and Allison J. Butcher and husband, Gary, of Redmond, Wash.; and four great-grandchildren, Jennifer L. Wood and James ``Jimmy" Wood, both of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Chelsea R. Angus and John Jayson Angus, both of Latrobe. Margaret L. Bonn, 91, of Hillside, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in her home. She was born Feb. 9, 1910, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Gray) Yates. She was a member of the Hillside United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Bonn, in 1986; a sister, Helen ``Nell" Cummings; and a great-granddaughter, Hilary Ann Bonn. Survivors include three sons, the Rev. Thomas L. Bonn and wife, Elsie, of Christiansburg, Va., James F. Bonn of Hillside and C. William Bonn of Latrobe; a sister, Betty Patz of Gray Station; four grandsons, Tim Bonn and wife, Sherry, of Vinton, Va., John Bonn of Christiansburg, Va., and Carl and Ian Bonn, both of Latrobe; and a great-grandson, C.J. Bonn. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the JAMES F. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, where service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas L. Bonn and the Rev. James R. Henigin co-officiating. Interment , Blairsville cemetery.

She was a member of the Prayer Group at Nativity Catholic Church in South Park, as well as the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the former St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora, Pa. Wife of the late Edward. Beloved mother of Edward P. Bronchak and Evelyn Wade of Virginia Beach, Va. Loving grandmother of Christopher Deabner, Beatrice, Alan E. and Harold Wade. Dear sister of Mary Chuba, Margaret Rock, Charles Ballon, Louise Michaels, Dorothy Fitzpatrick, Thomas Ballon, Frances Sweesy and Karen Cihonski. Daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ballon. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Russell E. Brown, 74, of Derry, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Aug. 2, 1927, on White's Hill (Youngwood), a son of the late Robert and Laura Marie Barkley Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Keister Brown; and a brother, Ron Brown. He is survived by his children, Russell E. Brown Jr. and wife, Jean, of Acme RD1, Shirley L. Niehenke and husband, Ray E., of Greensburg RD11, Randy L. Brown and wife, Vicky, of Crucible and Kristen D. Brown of Arona; five grandchildren, Ryan E. Niehenke of Michigan, Timothy Edward Brown and Kelly Lyn Brown, both of Crucible, and Britteny Elizabeth Brown and William Edward Brown, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; three brothers, Bill Brown and wife, Betty, of White's Hill, Don Brown of Unity Township and Walter Brown and wife, Nancy of Waterford. Russ was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and retired from Moore and Mooreford, Greensburg, after 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, a member of the NRA and was active in the Alwine Civic Center. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the C. She was a member of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Jeannette, Teamsters Local 30 and the Order of the Amaranth 25 of Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Davis; and a sister, Charlotte Schmitt. She is survived by two  daughters, Janet Stewart of McCullough and Linda Ostrow and her husband, Joel, of Shaker Heights, Ohio; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Olive Mae Demeter, age 84, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Mercy Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 19, 1917, daughter of the late Grover and Elma Geer Marvin. Mrs. Demeter was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Grover and his wife Pat, and Gary Demeter, all of North Hills; three grandchildren, Barbara Braucht of Virginia, Carol Coker and Robert Demeter, both of Georgia; four great-grandchildren. Also survived by many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alle P. Demeter, and a sister, Eula ``Sis" Kuczynski. Loving son of Kathryn Eckenrode Handza of Florida and the late Lloyd (Huck) Eckenrode; brother of Lloyd and his wife Jean Eckenrode of Oil City, and Bill and his wife Jean Eckenrode of Turtle Creek; uncle of Robert, Brian and Daniel Eckenrode and Kelly Beck; nephew of Dorothy (Eckenrode) Lindberg, Libby Basista, Rose Burkovich, Mary Trcic and James Sepcic. Larry was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 30 years, most recently as a social worker in the Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services in Pittsburgh. Joseph L. Farling, 74, of Jeannette, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in his home. He was born May 21, 1927, in Grapeville, a son of the late John H. and Mabel L. Feld Farling. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a salesman. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Mae Gangle and June Matuke; and three brothers, Harry, Jack and Joe Farling. He is survived by his wife, Connie Farling of Mt. Lake Park, Md.; and a niece, Francine Hohn of Greensburg. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, with Pastor Dale W. Roddy officiating. Interment will be private.

Sister Aniceta Gibson
Greensburg

Sister Aniceta Gibson, 82, of the sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Caritas Christi, Greensburg. Born Sept. 16, 1919, in Crafton, a daughter of the late Merle and Catherine (Kuhn) Gibson, she was the eighth of 10 children. Sister Aniceta entered the sisters of Charity on Sept. 8, 1946, from Holy Family Parish, Latrobe. For nearly 20 years, she taught children in elementary schools in the Dioceses of Pittsburgh, Altoona-Johnstown and Phoenix. Later she became a licensed practical nurse and served the sisters in the infirmary from 1967 through 1987, when she began her part-time nursing ministry. In retirement, she resided with the sisters in Greensburg, except when, for health reasons, she moved to Mt. St. Macrina in Uniontown. In 1999, she returned to Greensburg and continued to delight people with her ready laughter. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John L. (Gertrude) Schwab of Southbury, Conn.; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Edith Westerfer, Mary Jane Kattan, Sally Gibson, Bertha Gibson and Sister Rose Barbara Gibson, S.C.; and three brothers, Merle David Jr., William C. and Richard B. Gibson. She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Seton Hill College in 1963 and received her practical nurse's license in 1972. Friends received Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 6:45 p.m. in Caritas Christi, 459 Mt. Thor Road, Greensburg. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Assumption, Caritas Christi. Burial will be in the sisters' cemetery, Seton Hill. Memorial contributions may be made to the sisters of Charity, DePaul Center, 463 Mt. Thor Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.

Lillian E. Gillooly, age 87, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Concord Twp., Ohio. She was born Feb. 11, 1914, in Munhall. Mrs. Gillooly is survived by her son, Robert W. (Mary Ellen) of Concord Twp., and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E., and parents, Jessie and Amy (McClatcher) Crawford. Myra M. Igersheim, age 69, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Suburban General Hospital, Bellevue, after an illness. Born in Knox, Clarion County, on June 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Gladys Cobler Moyer. Mrs. Igersheim was a retired assembly line operator for the Cris Candy Co. in Pittsburgh. She attended Dutilh United Methodist Church, Cranberry Twp. Her husband, John C. Igersheim, whom she married Feb. 28, 1948, died Sept. 30, 1994. Also preceding her in death were one son and one brother. Surviving are seven  daughters, Myra Abraham of North Carolina, Sylvia Knochel of Valencia, Sandra Stratton of Connecticut, Debra Martin and Cheryl Igersheim, both of West View, Kimberly Igersheim of Mars and Peggy Cowan of Sewickley; four sons, John Igersheim of Grove City, William Igersheim of Ross, Kenneth Igersheim of Pittsburgh and Frank Igersheim of Mars; two sisters, Patricia Hayden and Gloria Jean Welch, both of Texas; also 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends received in the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. She was born July 4, 1918, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Clyde Leacock and Pearl Eldora Boggs Mansfield. She was a member of the Greensburg Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Johnson; a daughter, Helen Louise Johnson; a brother, Glenn Leacock; and a sister, Betty Mansfield Miller. Surviving are two  daughters, Yvonne Berta of Liberty Borough and Susan Dworek of Penn; a son, James H. Johnson of North Versailles; nine grandchildren, Jessica Richardson, Erika, Bree and Jeff Johnson, Ronald, David, Howard and Barry Berta and Bonna Pearson; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, James Mansfield of Greensburg; and a sister, Evelyn Eves of Georgia. Lisa J. Johnson, 40, of Tarrs, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, in her residence. Born April 6, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant, she was a daughter of Donald Springer and the late June (Pfoutz) Springer. She was the owner/operator of Lisa's Day Care Service. She was a member and organist of Center Bethel Church of God. She was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, class of 1979, attended Seton Hill College, Greensburg, and graduated from Westmoreland County Community College, class of 1984. Lisa was a leader of the Sunshine 4-H Club and Laurel Ridge Girl Scouts. In addition to her  Father, Donald Springer and his wife, Betty Lee, of Dawsonville, Ga., she is survived by her husband of 15 years, Douglas Johnson; two  daughters, Lindsey Johnson and Lizabeth Schomer, both at home; two brothers, Earl Springer and wife, Joan, of Hunker and Robert Bielecki and wife, Holly, of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Marie ``Kitty" Loughner and husband, Christopher, of Tarrs, and Sherry Cottom of Everson; two aunts, Virginia Pfoutz of Tarrs and Grace Mahokey of Mt. Pleasant; and her  Father- and mother-in-law, the Rev. Dewayne and Mrs. Ardith Johnson of Kersey, Pa. She was preceded in death by her mother, June (Pfoutz) Springer, in 1978. Friends received in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., 730 W. Main St., Mt.
