Herman F. Sebastian, Jr.
Herman F. Sebastian, Jr., 69, of Mechanicsburg died Saturday, September 2, 2000 in his residence.

He was a retired Master Electrician & HVAC Maintenance Engineer for Country Meadows, Hampden Twp., an instructor for Cumberland Perry Area Vocational Technical School, a private pilot out of Carlisle Airport and an Army Reservist. He was a member of Christ Community Church, Lower Allen Twp.; American Rose Society; & Electrical Contractors Association. He was born 1/8/31 in Harrisburg, PA to Elsie (Acri) Sebastian and the late Herman F. Sebastian, Sr.

He is survived by his wife Jean H. Sebastian; 2  daughters, Teresa Townsend of Mechanicsburg and Laura J. Sebastian of Savannah, GA; 3 sons, Stephen & Paul, both of Mechanicsburg and Dean of Savannah, GA; a step daughter Judy K. Treaster of New Cumberland; a step son Donald E. Fisher, Jr. of Camp Hill; his mother Elsie (Acri) Sebastian of Harrisburg; 2 sisters, Frances S. Hahm of Harrisburg and Thelma McCauslin of Camp Hill; 2 brothers, Joseph of Orlando, FL and Richard of Harrisburg; 2 grandchildren; and 6 step grandchildren.

Services will be held 10 am Tuesday 9/5/2000 in his church with the Pastors Bob Klinger & David Hess officiating. Burial will be in Emanuel cemetery, Fairview Twp. Visitation will be from 9:30-10 am Tuesday in the church.

Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland is handling arrangements.

John E. Shilling, Sr.
John E. Shilling, Sr., 64, formerly of New Cumberland, died Monday, October 30, 2000 at Manor Care, Carlisle.

He was a former employee of PPG Industries, Mount Holly Springs; he attended Enola First Church of God.

He was born August 8, 1936 in Mifflintown, PA to the late Charles E. and Agnes F. (Rowe) Shilling. He was the widower of Joanna P. (Slemons) Shilling.

He is survived by a son John E., Jr., Grand Blanc, MI; a daughter Virona G. Rowe, New Cumberland; three brothers, Paul H., Ladson, SC, Karl F., Milroy; Charles E., Lewistown; a sister Phyllis F. Migliore, Allentown; five grand children.

Funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Valentine H. Derr officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Viewing will 10-11am Wednesday at thee funeral home.

Carolyn R. Shuler
Carolyn Ruth (Smith) Shuler, 87, of Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp., and formerly of New Cumberland and Camp Hill died Tuesday, September 12, 2000 at the Village.

She worked for the state of Pennsylvania and as a substitute teacher for Catholic Schools in the area. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. She was a graduate of Chambersburg High School and attended Penn Hall School for Girls. She enjoyed painting, travel, golf, bridge and gardening.

She was born September 21, 1912 in Chambersburg to the late John and Mary Smith.

The widow of Henrie C. Shuler; she is survived by a sister, Jean R. Flowers of Venice, FL; a brother, Francis W. Smith of Media, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am Thursday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland with The Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Visitation will be from10am until 10:30am at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremations Services, Inc., New Cumberland.

Floy B. Shuler
Floy "Flo" B. Shuler, 87, of Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp. and formerly of Highland Park, died Thursday, September 28, 2000 at the Village.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Highland Park and its craft group. She was a graduate of the former Enola High School. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and reading.

She was born April 25, 1913 in Harrisburg to the late John and Irene Bower.

Her husband, Charles H. Shuler, Jr. and son, Charles H. Shuler, III, predecease her.

She is survived by a son, Carl A. Shuler of New Cumberland; three  daughters, Phyllis S. Shaffer of Mechanicsburg, Linda S. Keller of Dauphin, and Deborah K. Sahd of Camp Hill; two brothers, John Bower of West Fairview and Jack Bower of Camp Hill; a sister, Freda Brown of Wormleysburg; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday at her church with The Rev. Russell H. Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Viewing will be from 9:45 to 10:45am in the library of the church.

Marie Sostar
Marie "Sis" Sostar, 80, of Camp Hill died Thursday November16, 2000 in Renova Center for Special Services, Upper Allen Twp.

She was retired from the Nationwide Insurance Co., Harrisburg; attended First Church of the Nazarene, New Cumberland; was a member of Golden Hearts Club, Harrisburg; and her earlier athletic accomplishments included track and softball.

She was born March 11, 1920 to the late Michael S. & Pearl (Collier) Sostar.

She is survived by a niece Carole Egan of Camp Hill and 2 great nieces.

Services will be held 1:30pm Monday November 20, 2000 in the First Church of the Nazarene, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.

Viewing will be one hour prior to services. Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland is handling arrangements.

Ruth A. Spare
Ruth A. Spare, 84, formerly of Lemoyne died Friday, November 24, 2000 in Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp.

She was born October 24, 1916 in Kingston, Luzerne Co., PA to the late Sheldon and Irene (Good) Strunk.

She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg.

She was the widow of George L. Spare and is survived by 2  daughters, Jane Louise Brown of York and Judith S. Vandercoy of Mechanicsburg; 2 sons, James L. Spare of Chambers Hill and S. Todd Spare of Leola; a sister Louise Ransom of Iron Mountain, MN; 8 grandaughters and 3 great grandchildren.

Services will be held 2 pm Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.

Viewing will be from 1-2pm Monday in the funeral home.

John A. Souders
John A. Souders, 76, formerly of Saw Mill Road, Mechanicsburg, died Thursday, September 14, 2000 at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg.

He was a retired cartographer for the Commonwealth of PA; a Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII; he attended Messiah Village Church; was a member of West Shore Lodge # 681, Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine.

He was the widow of Eva Fisher Souders and was born September 29, 1923 in York, PA, to the late John A. and Ruth M. (Senft) Souders.

He is survived by a son John A. Souders, IV, Mechanicsburg; a daughter Joanne C. Souders, Lemoyne; two grand children, Jaime L. Souders and John A. Souders, V.

Memorial services will be held 7pm Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. C. Ronald Burgard, senior pastor at Messiah Village Church, officiating. Private burial will be in Paddletown cemetery, Newberry Township.

Visitation will be 6-7pm Monday at the funeral home.

Effie B. Stoner
Effie B. Eichelberger Stoner, 102, formerly of Camp Hill died Wednesday 8/9/2000 in Church of God Home, Carlisle.

She was a member of First Church of God, New Cumberland. She was born 8/8/1898 in Fairview Twp., York Co., PA to the late Charles & Susan (Hiler) Eichelberger.

She was the widow of Paul G. Stoner and is survived by a daughter Martha E. Sides of Ephrata; 2 sons, Ralph E. of Mechanicsburg and Charles C. of Wedowee, AL; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:30 am Saturday in the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation services, New Cumberland with the Rev's. Dennis E. Hamsher and Curtis D. Heisler co-officiating.Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday in the funeral home.

Robert D. Taber
Robert D. Taber, 69, of Lower Allen Twp. died Monday 10/2/2000 in his residence.

He was a retired Quality Control Inspector Branch Chief for the former New Cumberland Army Depot, Fairview Twp. and formerly was a Quality Control Inspector for Schenectady, NY Army Depot prior to transfer to New Cumberland. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of VFW Post 7530, Lower Allen Twp.

He was born 2/14/31 in Esperance, NY to the late Herbert & Maybel (Mather) Taber.

He is survived by his wife Virginia J. (Coppolo) Taber; a son Roger B. of Camp Hill; 3  daughters, Susan D. Lauver of Colonial Park, Rebecca A. Avaritt of Camp Hill and Gina A. Taber of Camp Hill; 2 brothers, Harold of Quaker Street, NY and Carl of FL; a sister Betty Wielt of Delanson, NY; and 4 grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:30 am Thursday in the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until time of service Thursday in the funeral home.

Louise N. Tetzloff
Louise Nellie Tetzloff, 73, of New Cumberland, and formerly of Virginia, died Wednesday at her home.

She was a member of Middletown Moose Lodge No. 410, VFW Post 710, Steelton, and American Legion Post No. 126, Buena Vista, VA.

She was born October 1, 1927 in Buena Vista, VA to the late David and Pearl (Floyd) Camden.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene "Pete" Tetzloff; three sons, Donald A. of Hummelstown, Roger A. of Middletown, and Mark A. of Buena Vista, VA; two  daughters, Loraine Sue Junker of Middletown, Donna Marie Harris of Conifer, CO; a sister, Kathrine King of Buena Vista, VA; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.

Viewing will be from 6-8pm Sunday with Moose services at 7pm at the funeral home.

Earl S. Warmkessle
Earl S. Warmkessel, 94, Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Reading Monday, August 21, 2000 at his residence.

He was a retired Real Estate Salesman for the Sisk Company, Reading; a member of Trindle Springs Ev. Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg; founder of Bethany Village Bowling League; was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Schuylkill Haven High School; enjoyed gardening and particularly roses.

He was the widow of Ada M. (Neiswender) Warmkessel. He was pre-deceased by his son Floyd E. Warmkessel.

He is survived by a daughter in law Margaret E. Warmkessel, Shiremanstown; two grand  daughters and three great grand  daughters.

Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Timothy L. Hoffman officiating. Burial will be at 2pm Wednesday in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Viewing will be 9:30-10:30 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Care Assurance Fund at Bethany Village, 325 Wesley Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

Gerald P. Weber
Gerald P. Weber, 59, of Lewisberry, PA, died Friday, October 13, 2000 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp., PA.

He was a toolmaker for Central PA Tool and Manufacturing, New Cumberland; attended Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters; his greatest joy was time spent with his grand children; a former little league coach; and was a baseball, football, and NASCAR racing fan.

He was born April 1, 1941 in Scranton, PA to the late Peter and Marie Godowski Weber.

He is survived by his wife Betty A. Erney Weber; a son Michael P., of Bluebell, PA; a daughter Kimberly Anne Domiano, Old Forge; a sister Mary Jane Holleran, Somers, NY; a stepdaughter Gail Lee Miller, York Haven; six grand children.

Funeral services will be held 2pm on Monday at Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. John E. Halderman, officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Fairview Twp. Viewing will be 1-2pm Monday at the church.

Robert H. Wills, 53, of New Cumberland, PA, died Wednesday, October 25, 2000.

He was a salesman for George L. Wells Meat Company, Philadelphia; an U.S. Air force veteran of Vietnam; he was the home association president of American Legion Post 143,and a member of VFW Post 7415, both of New Cumberland; a member of the Mechanicsburg Club and St. Theresa Catholic Church Softball team; he was an avid sportsman and hunter.

He was born February 13, 1947 in Harrisburg, PA to John B. Wills (deceased) and Virginia Hutchinson Wills Bush.

He is survived by a fiancée Joyce E. Kutzner, Mechanicsburg; two  daughters, Sandra R. Earnest, Lewisberry and Teresa R. Stewart, Mechanicsburg; his mother Virginia Wills Bush; three brothers, Jack Wills, Wilmington, DE, Richard Wills, Mechanicsburg, and Jerry Wills, Dillsburg; a sister Virginia Wills, Manhattan, NY; one grand child; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 2:30pm Saturday in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, with the Rev. J. Stewart Hardy officiating.

Visitation will be 1-2:30pm at the church.

Valda J. Youells
Valda J. Youells, 70, of Susquehanna Twp. and formerly of Ames, IA died Tuesday 8/1/2000 in Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, PA.

She was born 9/13/29 in Huron, SD to the late Earl & Carolyn (Fuglsang) McFadden.

She is survived by her husband Willis W. Youells; 2  daughters, Rhandi R. Youells of Susquehanna Twp. and Tammi K. Youells of Cedar Rapids, IA; a brother Robert McFadden of Hutchinson, KS; 2 sisters, Carolyn Bill of Brandon, SD and Lorlei McHune of Tulsa, OK; and 2 grandchildren.

He was a retired supervisor for the former Doe Spun Co., York; a WWII army veteran and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland.

He was born 9/23/17 in New Cumberland to the late George & Mary (Bricker) Zimmerman.

He was the widower of Grace I. (Brewbaker) Zimmerman and is survived by a daughter Donna Lee Schlag of York; 2 sons, Emmett W. Zimmerman, Jr. of Halifax and Barry Lee Zimmerman of Frederick, MD; a brother Murray B. Zimmerman of New Cumberland; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be held 2 pm Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery, Hampden Twp.

Viewing will be one hour prior to service Friday in the funeral home.
