Attended Delaware County Community College where he was on The National Honor Society

VETERAN: Sergeant in the RECON Division of the United States Marine Corp. He served in Okinawa for 2 ½ years.

ORGANIZATIONS: Doug enjoyed reading, music, old movies and loved and excelled in all sports. He was passionate about high adventure and was involved with skate boarding, snow boarding, scuba diving and mountain biking.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his parents Raymond A. and Sandra (nee Benhart) Behm of Media, PA; One Brother Clifford C. Behm of Moncure, North Carolina; Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Funeral Service Sunday 8:00 p.m. at The Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Interment Tuesday 1:00 pm in Quantico National cemetery, Quantico, Virginia.

EDUCATION: Graduate Freeland High School, Freeland, PA

VETERAN: US Army serving during WWII

EMPLOYED: Scott Paper as a Finisher for 44 years.

ORGNIZATIONS: Church: Sixty year member of Upland United Methodist Church. The Church played an important role in his life and he was involved in many things including being a member of the Upland Church Choir. Later he attended Parkside United Methodist Church.

Other: He was a man devoted to his family. Enjoyed sports and coached the Chester Suburban Little League.

Father of the late David Bell; Son of the late Clyde B. and Blanche (nee Howey) Bell; Brother of the late Margaret Leipfert; Grandfather of the late Philip Bell.

SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret N. (nee Oshman) Bell; Two Sons: R. Wayne (Lee) Bell of Swarthmore, PA and Kenneth D. (Linda) Bell of Upland, PA; Two Daughters: Nancy R. (Bob) Stump of Folsom, PA and Marcia N. (Robert) Rogala of Reading, PA; Two Brothers: Clyde Bell of Penfield, New York and Arthur Bell of Freeland, PA; Also survived by Nine Grandchildren, Twelve Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.

SERVICE INFORMATION Funeral Service Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at The Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA. Interment Mt Hope cemetery, Aston, PA. Friends may call Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

OF: Eddystone, PA DIED: Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Taylor Hospital Born in Upland, PA, he had been a life-long resident of Eddystone.

EMPLOYMENT: Truck Driver working for various companies throughout Delaware County

ORGANIZATIONS: Mike was a man devoted to his family and especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. A faithful son to his mother and due to her recent illness he has been a wonderful care giver. He had participated in a band and enjoyed playing the drums.
