Joanne Shelbo
June 3, 1921 - February 18, 2016
Joanne Shelbo, 94, of Easton PA, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Manor Care, Palmer Twp.
Joanne was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Antonio and Grazia (Todaro) Lisinichia.
Joanne was married to Stephen Shelbo before his passing in 2001.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Joanne is survived by her sons Thomas P. Shelbo and wife Charlotte of Bethlehem Twp., Peter Shelbo of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter Stephanie Enea and husband Dr. P.J. Enea of Palmer Twp.; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Grace Lovenstein, and a brother Anthony Lisinichia.
A gathering will be held on Monday from 11:00 am to 11:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Contributions in Joanne’s memory may be made to the Heartland Hospice, 881 Marcon Blvd., Suite 3700, Allentown, PA 18109.

Diane E. O'Connor
February 27, 1937 - February 27, 2016
Diane E. O’Connor, 79, of Macungie, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in her home.
Diane was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Edgar and Anna (Hutnik) Eichlin.
Diane was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1954. She was an administrative secretary to the Principal at Liberty Twp. School, in Great Meadows, NJ, and a Department Manager at Walmart.
Diane was a volunteer for animal shelters, Domestic Abuse, Kids with Cancer, American Cancer Society, Reach to Recovery, Relay for Life, Wolf Sanctuary of PA, Blue Star Mothers Military, Turning Point, Pillowcases for Kids with cancer at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Reading Hospital, Meals on Wheels, Women in Art in PA, Lehigh Valley Hospital Hats for Preemies, and the Sanctuary at Haafsville Animal Shelter. She enjoyed making pierogies for Holy Ghost Ukrainian Church. She would like to be remembered as kind and always smiling.
Diane is survived by her sons Vincent O’Connor and wife Diane of Easton, Christian O’Connor and wife Lori of Bethlehem; daughters Vicki O’Connor Ebner and husband Jeff of Sinking Spring, Kelly O’Connor Waldron of Lebanon; a brother Richard Eichlin and wife Miriam of Harrisonburg, VA; grandchildren Ryan Ebner, Jesse Ebner, Kelly Ebner, Kyla Waldron, Nicole O’Connor, Meghan O’Connor; loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister Naomi. Diane will be greatly missed by many friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional visitation on Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the funeral home, followed by Interment of her ashes in Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Bethlehem Twp., PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Diane’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017, or to the animal shelter of your choice.

Ann Corona
March 11, 1914 - February 22, 2016
Ann Corona, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 in Manor Care.
Ann was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rosia (Boscia) Frinzi.
Ann attended Easton High School. She was a proprietor and beautician at Ann’s Beauty Salon or Phillipsburg, NJ before retiring in 1985.
Ann was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, HEAD Golden Age of St. Anthony’s, and the Over Fifty Club of St. Phillips & St. James Church.
Ann is survived by her sons Richard Corona and his wife Kay of Phillipsburg, NJ, Robert Corona and his wife Deborah of Palmer Twp., Dave Corona and his wife Claudia of Forks Twp.; a daughter Patricia Vollmann and her husband Rudy of FL; a sister Mary Bondonese of Easton; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Fannie DePaolo, Manie Montoro; brothers John, Angelo, Joseph and Salvatore Frinzi.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).

Michael Tomko, Jr.
October 30, 1924 - February 16, 2016
Michael Tomko, Jr., 91, of Wilson Boro, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in his home.
Michael was born in West Easton, a son of the late Michael Tomko Sr., and Mary (Demchik) Tomko.
Michael was married to the former Anna Belak, with whom he would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on March 3. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1942; and served in the US Navy during World War II. Michael was a Crane Operator and later a store room clerk for Ingersoll Rand, Turbo Division in Phillipsburg, NJ before retiring in 1986.
Michael was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish, which included the former St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Easton; and the American Legion Lester Pfeffer Post 611.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his sons Robert Tomko and wife Barbara of Martins Creek, William Tomko and wife Judith Ann of Lower Nazareth; a daughter Joanne Bryant and husband Christopher of Marion, Mass.; sisters Susan Kapral of Forks Twp., Margaret Gotto of Palmer Twp., Elizabeth Merring of Forks Twp; grandchildren Stefanie, Bryan, Clayton, Tasche, Torrie, Devon; great-grandchildren Theo, Alex, Kellan, Jeffrey, Camden, and Luca. He is preceded in death by his sisters Mary Ciambrone and Anna Stefanovic.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Wagnersville, PA.
Contributions in Michael’s memory may be made to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042.

Jean Rose Dubbs
October 22, 1925 - February 19, 2016
Jean Rose Dubbs, 90 of Palmer Twp. passed away Friday February 20, 2016 in the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family.
Born: She was born on October 22, 1925 in Bethlehem, a daughter of the late James and Bertha Hein Hartnett.
Personal: Jean was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2006. She was employed as an RN for St. Luke’s Hospital for many years. Jean enjoyed cooking and baking and especially spending time with her family with whom she loved very much.
Memberships: Jean was a devoted member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp.
Survivors: Jean is survived by her sons Charles Dubbs and spouse Michelle of Ellicott City, MD, David Dubbs and spouse Sharon of Coplay, PA; daughters Deborah Santly and spouse Randy of Palmer Twp., Cheri Albertson and spouse Barry of Palmer Twp., Jean L. Dubbs and spouse Crissi of Palmer Twp.; sisters Sr. Evelyn Hartnett of Aston, PA, Teresa Hartnett of Palmer Twp.; grandchildren Tanya, Nicole, Laura, Gregory, Vincent, Zachary, Nicholas, Alec, Cameron and a great grandchild Kal-el. In addition to her husband, a son James, a sister Doris and brothers Richard, Jack and Michael preceded Jean in death.
Services: A calling hour will be held on Friday from 10:00am until 11:00am in St. Jane’s Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00am in the church. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Arrangements are under the direction of the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp.
Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice, 1510 Valley Center Parkway Suite 200, Bethlehem, PA 18017 in memory of Jean.

Charles C. Wilson
February 22, 1952 - October 13, 2016
Charles C. “Chuckie” Wilson, 64 of Palmer Twp. passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on February 22, 1952 in Phillipsburg, NJ a son of the late Charles H. and Thelma Rose Wilson.
Chuck and his wife, the former Tammi Lynn Weaver celebrated 27 years of marriage together. He was employed as a mailman for the USPS for over 28 years retiring in 2008. Chuck proudly served in the US Army. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School class of 1970. In addition to his family, Chuck loved the NY Giants, fishing and detailing his truck.
He was of the Catholic faith. Chuck was a member of various clubs throughout the area.
In addition to his wife, Chuck is survived by sons Charles C. Wilson of Nazareth, Marc J. Wilson of West Chester, PA, Jon P. Wilson and wife Jenny of Exton, PA; daughter Christina M. Wilson of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughters MaryKate Klass and husband Steven of Forks Twp., Gina Marie Smereczynsky of Forks Twp., Amanda Jo Smereczynsky of Las Vegas, NV; a sister Diane Gonzales of Massachusetts; grandchildren Liam, Jasmine, Vanessa, Faith and Carter; several nieces and nephews and his dog Alfie. Sisters Yvonne Amaro, Beverly Rivas, and Doris Gonzales preceded Chuck in death.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday morning from 9:00am until 10:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Chuck.

Teresa D. Gallagher
September 13, 1931 - September 27, 2016
Teresa “Terri” D. Gallagher, 85, of Easton, PA, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Above and Beyond Senior Living, Allentown, PA.
Terri was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Corriere) DeMartino.
Terri was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1949, and received her Bachelor’s from Cedar Crest College, class of 1953. She was a teacher for Easton High School where she taught Business Procedures, before retiring in the mid-1990’s.
Terri was a member of NEA, PSEA, and EAEA.
Teresa is survived by daughters Jean Ann Eva and husband Leo, Kathleen Ruane and husband Jim; a son John Gallagher and wife Melissa; a sister Grace Rohland; grandchildren Brendan, Justin, Leah and Jared.
A calling hour will be held on Friday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Williams Twp.

William A. Pados
August 12, 1934 - September 23, 2016
William A. Pados, 82, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Manor Care, in Palmer twp.
William was born August 12, 1934 in Frenchtown, NJ, a son of the late Steven and Barbara (Simon) Pados.
He was a graduate of Wilson High School, and won the 1954 State Championship in the long jump. William served in the US Army. He enjoyed over 30 years with his loving companion Kathleen Svanda of Bethlehem. He owned and operated Bushkill Auto Repair for 60 years in Forks Township. He also enjoyed many years of auto racing as both a driver in the 1950’s and later as mechanic with his family in 1980’s.
William was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and belonged to the association of veterans Battle of the Bulge
William is survived by his companion Kathleen Svanda; sons Brian Pados of Palmer Twp., Glenn Pados of Tazewell, TN, Craig Pados of Wisconsin; grandchildren Mitchell and Michael, of Lehighton, PA.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). Additional viewing hour will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Easton. Interment will be in Arndt’s Lutheran Cemetery, Easton.

Gladys E. Dagon
February 2, 1923 - September 15, 2016
Gladys E. Dagon, 93 of Easton, PA, formally of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 in Gracedale Nursing Home.
Gladys was born in Alpha, NJ, a daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Edgar) Smith.
Gladys was married to William H. Dagon for 33 years, before his passing on March 11, 1976. She retired from Miss Jay Lore and previously Gladys worked at the Hunterdon State School in the Grandmother Program until 2003. She was a 1939 graduate of Phillipsburg High School. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City and playing Bingo.
Gladys was a member of St. Philip and St. James Church in Phillipsburg, NJ. She was also a lifetime member of Wilson Borough Republican Club, West Easton Athletic Association, Avona Fire Co., Lester Pfeffer Association and the American Legion.
Gladys is survived by a daughter Patricia Manos and husband Joseph of Palmer Twp.; sons William H. Dagon and wife Doreen, Thomas V. Dagon and wife Michele, both of Spokane Washington; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles, Robert, Donald and Richard Smith; and a sister Martha.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
