She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law Joseph N. and Heidi Moffa, Tyrone; John and Bonnie Moffa, Hartly, DE and James and Rose Ann Moffa, Medford, NJ. Most important to her was how very proud she was of her four grandchildren - Joey Moffa III (deceased), Lance Moffa, Troy Moffa, and Stephanie Moffa Tyburski. She was the dear sister of Antonetta Derewiany, Voorhees, NJ; Mary Redstreak (late Charles), Cherry Hill, NJ; Margaret Lombardo, Cherry Hill, NJ; Samuel Lombardo (Dorothy), Tyrone; Angelina Waite (late Herbert), Getzville, NY and Josephine (late Edward) Laczkowski, Tucson, AZ and the late Theodore P. Rose will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, granddaughter and grandsons. We will forever remember all the good times and get togethers we had. Words can describe a lot about a person: Here are just a few that we believe describe our mother - Nimble in body, mind and spirit, our mother was wise, funny, enthusiastic, feisty, independent, caring and loving...and very self giving. Her family often referred to her as the energizer bunny. We shall remember her for all those traits.
Funeral Mass for Rose M. Moffa will be Friday, October 12, 2007 at noon at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with Father David Roesch as celebrant. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
