Eva H. Patterson, 88 of Waynesburg, PA died at 10:30PM Wednesday Feb. 19, 2003 at the Greene Co. Memorial Hosp. in Waynesburg following a four year illness. She was born October 14, 1914 in Pine Bank, PA to the late Brady Ray and Ida Bennington Huffman. She had lived in the Waynesburg area since 1943. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Washington St. United Methodist Church in Waynesburg where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Friendly Circle Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Cornerstone Genealogical Society. She worked for many years as Waynesburg Tax collector. Her Husband: Frank B. Patterson whom she married on January 3, 1942 died August 10, 1970. Johnson, 87 of 107 Curry Road Waynesburg, PA formerly of R.D.#2 Waynesburg died at 2:10 PM Friday December 6, 2002 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home Waynesburg following a lengthy illness. She was born March 19, 1915 to the late James C. and Fannie Long Mason at White ley Twp., Greene Co. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God. For several years she worked as a housekeeper for Tom Mahle and Willis Fox. She was a homemaker. Her Husband: Harry E. Fairy Jane Lohr, 90 of Colonial Beach, Va. formerly of Spraggs, and Waynesburg died at 11:50AM Friday, Janury 31, 2003 at the Mary Washington Hosp. in Fredericksburg, Va. She was born Oct. 17, 1912 in Woodruff, W.Va. to the late Alfred and Mary Lowe Turner. Mrs. Lohr was a member of the Spraggs United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Emerald Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #135 and the Waynesburg Senior Citizens where she enjoyed Quilting. While her health permitted she was a volunteer with the Greene Co. Memorial Hospital Aux. She was a homemaker. Husband: Isaac (Stidger) Lohr married December 24, 1937 died May 14, 1987. Ireland and Sadie J. Taylor Ireland. Mrs. Baker was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg where she was a Sunday School Teacher and worked in the Nursery for over 30 years. She had worked as a clerk in the McCroys Five and Ten Store for several years in Waynesburg. She had also worked at the Berkowitz Pajama Factory in Waynesburg and ran a Day Care in her home. Francis Phillips, 86 of Haines hollow Rd. Waynesburg, PA died at 9:00AM on Monday October 13, 2003 at the home of his Sister Isabel. He was born June 8, 1917 in Jefferson Twp., Greene Co. He was the Son of the late James Frederick and Bernice(Johnston) Phillips. Mr. Phillips spent his entire life in Jefferson Twp. He was a member of the former Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder, on the Trustee Board and was a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendant. He is now a member of the Green Valley Presbyterian Church. He worked as a linemen for South Penn, Mid Penn and Alltel Telephone Companies for 25 years. Franklin D. King Sr., 70 of Mt. Morris, PA died at 10:17PM Thursday May 13, 2004 in the Ruby Memorial Hosp. Morgantown, WV. He was born OCt. 25, 1933 in Morgantown, W.Va. A Son of the late Francis and Thelma Moore King. Mr. King was a member of the United Mine Workers Union. He worked for 30 years at the Consol Coal Mine at Osage, WV. retiring in 1992. Mr. McClelland was affiliated with the First Christian Church of Waynesburg. He worked for several years as a baker for the former Moore's Bakery in Waynesburg. He then later worked for Data Flow in Waynesburg from where he retired. His Wife: Aldine A. He was born April 28, 1937 in Jeannette, PA to the late Ernest and Elvera(Rettondola) Torri. Mr. Torri was a member of the St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Waynesburg. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War having served for 5 years with the U. S. Army Intelligence Corp. retiring as a Captian. He worked As a Personnel Manager first for International Paper, then for Florence Mining and later for U.S.Steel. He was a 1960 Graduate of the University of Pittsbugh with a Bach. of Arts degree. Surviving are his Wife: Carol (Avolio) Torri whom he married October 1, 1960. Also surviving are 3 daughters : Anna Morin of Austin, Texas , Lisa Mascara of Washington , PA, and Amy Torri of Austin, Texas . 3 sons : Thomas Torri of Colorado Spring, Colorado serving with the U. S. Army, Timothy Torri of Waynesburg, PA and Michael Torri of Fairmont, W.Va. 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great GrandSon 1 Brother: Ernest Torri of Jeannette, PA 1 Sister: Kathy Mumper of Jeannette, PA Friends will be received from 7 to 9 Sat.
