Shirley M. (Arnold) Galley
Shirley M. (Arnold) Galley, age 60, of 1407 Edgeview Street, East Greenville PA, died Sunday, April 16, 2000 at her residence. She was the wife of James W. Galley. The couple celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary last May 6th.

Born December 5, 1939 in Upper Saucon Twp. PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Augusta M. (Webster) Arnold. She was a member of Ebenezer New Reformed Church, Bingen PA.

She is survived by her Husband; A Son, Richard Galley of Elizabethtown PA; A Daughter, Stella P., wife of Glenn R. Beard of Red Hill PA; Three brothers , Edward L. Arnold of Wysox PA, Warren H. Arnold of Center Valley PA and DonRoy E. Arnold of Center Valley PA; Three sisters , Mary E. Holland of Bethlehem PA, Geraldine A., wife of Robert L. Benner of Allentown PA and Pauline G., wife of Walter R. Fogel of Center Valley PA; and 4 Grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2000 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, PA. Calling hour will be 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bingen Sunrise Memorial Cemetery, Lower Saucon Twp.

Memorials can be made to Ebenezer New Reformed Church, 3211 Bingen Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Verna E. Gross
Verna E. Gross, age 88, of Allentown PA, died Saturday, December 07, 2002 in Cedarbrook, South White hall Township PA.

Born in Allentown PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Estella L. (Hen) Gross. She was a Snack Bar Clerk working for The Wood Company Food Service Management at Muhlenberg College in Allentown for 35 years before retiring in 1993.

She is survived by her Son, Richard W. Snyder of Allentown PA and Granddaughter, Lynn A. Sutterfield of Pawnee OK.

Graveside Services and Interment will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2002 at Greenwood Cemetery, 2010 Chew Street, Allentown. There are no Calling Hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.

Douglas L. Horwith
Douglas L. Horwith, age 40, of Slatington PA, died Thursday, July 10, 2003 in his home. He was the Husband of Lily A. (Lovett) Horwith. The couple celebrated their 12th Wedding Anniversary this past April.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of Louis and Jeanne R. (Kromer) Horwith of Schnecksville PA. He was the Owner/Operator of D.L. Horwith Trucking, Slatington PA, since 1986. He was a Member of the Community Fire Company #1, Schnecksville PA.

He is survived by his Wife and Parents; Daughter, Laurel N. Horwith at home; Son, Dalton D. Horwith at home; Brother, Brian K. Horwith of North White hall Township PA; sisters , Karen A. Horwith of Schnecksville PA and Audra J. Horwith of Schnecksville PA; and Nieces and Nephews

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may Call 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Interment in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Horwith Children's Education Fund c/o Funeral Home, PO Box 196, Schnecksville PA 18078-0196.

Eva M. (Chromczak) Heil
Eva M. (Chromczak) Heil, age 78, of Rentzheimer Drive, Hellertown PA, died Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown PA. She was the Wife of Robert H. Heil, Sr. The couple celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary this past May.

Born in Lower Saucon Township PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Julia (Hulak) Chromczak. She was a Homemaker. She was a Member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown. She was also a Member of the Card Club of Hellertown; the Kitchen Committee of First U.C.C.; and a Member and Volunteer of the Hellertown Historical Society.

She is survived by her Husband; Son, Robert H. Heil, Jr. of Bethlehem PA; Daughter, Rebecca J. Baldwin of Dover PA; Brother, Edward J. Chromczak of Hellertown PA; 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Granddaughters. She is predeceased in death by her Granddaughter, Katie E. Baldwin, 2000.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2003 in the First United Church of Christ, 501 Northampton Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown and 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Church. Interment in Friedensville Cemetery, Upper Saucon Township PA.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church, 18055.

Kenneth L. "Tiny" Harryn
Kenneth L. "Tiny" Harryn, age 77, of West Clarke Street, Hellertown PA, died Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Stella A. (Kroboth) Harryn. The couple celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary last October.

Born in Ashland PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alma (Renner) Harryn. He was a General Foreman in the Saucon Structural Shipping Yards of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, retiring in 1983 after 38 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving as Corporal in the 3rd Marine Corp. Division at the Battle of Bougainville during World War II. He is also a recipient of the Purple Heart and other commendations. He was a Member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown PA.

Mr. Harryn was also a Life Member of the VFW 3094, Hellertown PA; the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397, Hellertown PA; Life Member of the military Order of the Purple Heart; Life Member of the NRA; Member of the Hellertown Sportsmen's Association; Member of the North Penn Beagle Club, PA and the Warren County Beagle Club, NJ.

He is survived by his Wife; Son, Kenneth L. Harryn Jr. of Bethlehem Township PA; Daughter, Bonnie L. Wykosky of Lower Saucon Township PA; brothers , Paul Harryn of Hellertown PA and Donald Harryn of Quakertown PA; sisters , Betty Wargo of Bethlehem PA, Shirley Kemp of Tennessee and Janeth McGee of Bethlehem PA; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the Funeral Home. Internment in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, 709 Delaware Avenue, Bethlehem PA 18015 and/or the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem PA 18018.

Perma M. Harter
Perma M. Harter, age 89, of Apple Butter Road, Slatington PA, died Tuesday, July 08, 2003 in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township PA.

Born in Washington Township PA, she was the daughter of the late William N. and Cora A. (Snyder) Harter. She was a Member of the Lutheran Congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Slatington PA, where she also attended the Heidelberg Union Sunday School and had perfect attendance for over 35 years. She was also a Member of the Former Washington Grange # 1763.

She is survived by her Brother, Clayton W. Harter of Redding CA; Sister, Arlene A. Miller of Emmaus PA; and Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend David L. Hess, officiating clergy. Interment in Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Slatington PA.

Esta M. (Turner) Kleckner
Esta M. (Turner) Kleckner, age 91, of 227 South 11th Street, Livingston, MT, formerly of Ironton, PA, died Friday, March 31, 2000 in the Diamond K Lodge, 1200 West Montana Street, Livingston, MT. She was the widow of the Francis C. Kleckner.

Born September 19, 1908 in Seipstown, Weisenberg Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late William & Edna (Everett) Turner. She was a member of the Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neffs, PA.

She is survived by a Daughter, Verna M., wife of Lewis Huber of Livingston, MT; a Son, Ronald F. Kleckner of Allentown, PA; two Half-brothers , Frank E. Stettler of Allentown, PA and John A. Stettler of Allentown, PA; 5 Granddaughters and 4 Great Grandsons. She was predeceased in death by her daughters Enda M. Seidel & Irene Kleckner.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2000 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, PA. A Calling Hour will be held 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Union Church Cemetery, Neffs, PA.

Franklin J. Kemmerer
Franklin J. Kemmerer, age 78, of 4255 Roosevelt Street, White hall PA, died Saturday, July 29, 2000 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, Bethlehem PA. He was the husband of Marie E. (Faust) Kemmerer. The couple celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary last June 1st.

Born October 11, 1921 in Allentown PA, he was the son of the late Clayton S. and Sallie (Musselman) Kemmerer. He was a Truck Driver for the General Supply company in Coplay for many years before retiring in 1986. Prior to that, he worked for the former Wint Lumber Co. in Catasaqua and the former Newside Foundry, Newside PA. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main Street, White hall PA where he formerly served on the church council. He was also a member of the Ontelaunee Region Antique Car Club.

He is survived by his Wife; Brother, Albert Kemmerer of Allentown PA and Several Nieces and Nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2000 in the Church. A Calling Hour will be held 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Interment will be in Nisky Hill Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.

Goldie S. (Hoffman) Peters Kunkle
Goldie S. (Hoffman) Peters Kunkle, age 95, of Phoebe Home, 1925 Turner Street, Allentown PA, formerly of Slatington PA, died Monday, April 17, 2000 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital after being stricken at Phoebe Home. She was the widow of the late Fred E. Kunkle & the late Ira L. Peters.

Born February 28, 1905 in North White hall Twp. PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Clara K. (Kemmerer) Hoffman. She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs PA.

She is survived by Two sons , George V. Peters of Slatington PA and Carl Q. Kunkle of Collingswood, NJ; 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2000 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Calling hour will be 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
