Thomas J. Tahon Sr. , 58, of Indiana Township, suddenly Saturday, April 15, 2000. Mr. Tahon was a retired machinist for Goss Inc. He was the beloved husband of Karen (Reese) Tahon; Father of Jennifer Tahon of Shaler Township, Aimee Tahon of Etna, Julie Tahon of Brookline, Benjamin (Lynda) Tahon of Mars and Thomas Tahon Jr. of Hampton Township; brother of Sarah (Sam) Roberts of Coraopolis, Eugene (Joyce) Tahon of Hollidaysburg, and Charles (Dorothy) Tahon of West Deer; brother-in-law of Shirley Tahon; son-in-law of Kitty Reese. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Sr. and Emily Tahon; and a brother, Alfred Jr. Friends received at the FRANK R. PERMAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 923 Saxonburg Blvd. at Route 8, Shaler Township, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw, Wednesday, notice of time later. Interment at Assumption Cemetery, Hampton Township. Family respectfully suggests donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Pennsylvania , Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

JOHN E. THOMAS JR.

John E. Thomas Jr., 74, of Greensburg, died Sunday, April 16, 2000, in the Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Oct. 9, 1925, in Greensburg, a son of the late John Sr. and Beatrice Kuhns Thomas. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by the Brown-Boveri Co. of South Greensburg, and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Thomas, in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Roberta G. Wightman Thomas; a daughter, Deborah and her husband, William McClintock, of Greensburg; three grandsons, William McClintock II, Kenneth McClintock and Robert McClintock, all of Greensburg; a brother, Kenneth and his wife, Mary Thomas, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Byron T. Eisaman officiating. Interment with military honors provided by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard will follow in the Hillview Cemetery, Hempfield Township.

NANCY K. WALTON BARTON
Nancy K. Walton Barton, 86, of Delmont, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born Sept. 10, 1913, in Hempfield Township, a daughter of the late Florence R. and Cora Armour Walton. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a legal secretary for attorney Christ Walthour in Greensburg. She had also worked as a secretary for the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington , D.C., and for the Old Republic Insurance Company in Greensburg. She was a lifetime member of the Delmont Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Barton; by two brothers , Riley Walton and Eugene Walton; and by three sisters , Mary Swinter, Bertha Brunot, and Helen Shaffer. She is survived by a sister, Sara W. Probst of Greensburg; by three stepsons and two stepdaughters, Gary Barton of South Thetford, Vt., Vicki Tasney and David Barton, both of North Quincey, Mass., Fred Barton of Mechanicsville, Va., and Pat Brewer of Folsom, Calif.; and by a number of nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a public memorial service to be held in the Delmont Presbyterian Church on Friday, April 21st, at 11 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Glen H. Burrows, officiating. Should friends desire, memorial remembrances may be made in Nancy K. Walton Barton's name to a charity of choice. Arrangements by JOHN L. ELIZABETH E. DETRICK

Elizabeth E. Detrick, 76, of Murrysville and Bradenton, Fla., died suddenly Friday, April 14, 2000, in Bradenton. She was born May 13, 1923, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Donald and Alma Carr Murray. She was a retired secretary for Koppers Research in Monroeville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Murrysville and the Whitfield Estates Presbyterian Church in Florida. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by a sister, Peg Lilja. She is survived by her husband, Sherman Detrick; two daughters , Judy Donovan of Searcy, Ark., and Lynn Lemmon of Dunedin, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Diane Horning of Kempton, Pa., Lynn Marks of Houston, Texas , and Sharon Ross of Portland, Ore.; a stepson, Robert Detrick of West Falmouth, Mass.; and 13 grandchildren. Visitation at the JOHN T. HART FUNERAL HOME, Murrysville, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Murrysville with Dr. T. Ewen Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in the Murrysville Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

RONALD J. FELDMAN

Ronald J. Feldman, of Bethel Park, formerly of Castle Shannon, on Saturday, April 15, 2000. Husband of Kimberly Feldman. Father of Thomas and Stephanie Feldman. Son of George and the late Therese Feldman. Brother of Ken Feldman and Karen Hayes. Also survived by four nieces and two nephews. Friends received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral prayer Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10 a.m. Mr. Feldman was a member of IBEW Union Local 5.

PRISCILLA JOAN INGLEFIELD-MAILE

Priscilla Joan Inglefield-Maile, 59, of Abington, formerly of Pleasant Hills, on Saturday, April 15, 2000. Wife of Roderick J. Maile. mother of Tara Lee Lewis of Winooski, Vt. Grandmother of Elias Renny Lewis and Ian Xavier Lewis. Sister of Charles Lee Inglefield III and his wife, Sheryl D. Inglefield of Bluffton, S.C. aunt of Pamela J. Inglefield, Christine A. Fogt and Charles Lee Inglefield IV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lee Inglefield Jr. and Margaret Jane Jones Inglefield. Priscilla was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and was a vice-president of operations for an insurance company. Friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME INC., 1032 Perry Highway, Perrysville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment Highwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be offered to the American Cancer Society, 241 Fourth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

MARY L. LOWBODY INGRAHAM

Mary L. Lowbody Ingraham, 94, of Peoria, Ariz., formerly of Jeannette, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, in Peoria. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a school teacher in the Jeannette, North Huntingdon and Norwin school districts, and was a full professor of mathematics at the Allegheny Community College, Boyce Campus. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent, Jeannette, and a member for many years of the library board of the Jeannette Public Library. She is survived by the following children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: George and Tacy Ingraham and Jon of Peoria, Ariz., Natalie and Robert Youngstead, Brenda and Ken of Lowden, Tenn., Chris Sinclair and Gary of Westmoreland City and two great-granddaughters, Brenda Gulla and Rachael Sinclair. STEPHEN A. KONTROS

Stephen A. Kontros, 76, of Greensburg RD12, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Whitney, a son of the late Michael and Anna Oleksik Kontros. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by Hempfield Foundries. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg, the American Legion Post 981 of South Greensburg, and the Roosevelt Club, Hempfield Township. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pavuk Kontros; a son, Robert J. Kontros of Greensburg RD2; a brother, John Kontros of Ravenna, Ohio; four sisters , Mary Chelewenski of New Jersey, Helen Pavuk of Cleveland, Ohio, Ann Kozusko of Whitney and Betty Ernette of Harrison City; and several nieces and nephews. Friends received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Sunday and Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Entombment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum, Hempfield Township.

CATHERINE B. SHERWIN

Catherine B. Sherwin, 79, of Mt. Pleasant (East Huntingdon Township), died Friday, April 14, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. Friends were received Sunday in the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street, Mt. Pleasant. Her funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Richard W. Shields officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Irwin.

RAYMOND E. WAREHAM

Raymond E. Wareham, 76, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, April 14, 2000, in Jeannette. He was born Jan. 25, 1924, in North Braddock, a son of the late Randolph and Vivian (Shutterly) Wareham. He was the owner of Wareham Nurseries and Wareham Feed & Supply. He was a veteran of World War II of the Army Air Corps, serving as a staff sergeant/aerial gunner B24. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, North Huntingdon, and VFW Post 8427 in Herminie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers , Harry Dempsey and Donald Wareham. Survivors include his wife, Laura E. (Lamison) Wareham; two daughters , Diane Marshall and her husband, Raymond Girman, and Sharon Byrd, all of New Stanton; five brothers , William R. Wareham of North Huntingdon, David Wareham of South Carolina, Clyde Wareham of Arizona, Charles Wareham of Arizona and Clifford Wareham of Indiana, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Amy Byrd of New Stanton. Friends were received at the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 1:3O p.m. with the Rev. Mark A. Fischer officiating. GEORGE C. WUSLICK

George C. Wuslick, 75, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, in Jeannette. He was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Export, a son of the late Rade and Sava (Pupich) Wuslick. He was a cost accountant for G.M. Fisher Body and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Monroeville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Miller Wuslick; and three sisters , Nellie Yeschke, Mildred and Mary Wuslick. Friends received at the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held Monday, April 17, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Father D.C. Malich officiating. Pomen services Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Interment Grandview Cemetery, Export. Memorials suggested to Parkinson's Disease Chapter of Greater Pittsburgh, OFC.

TONY BENCLOSKI

Tony Bencloski, 85, of North Huntingdon, died Monday, April 17, 2000, in the Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born March 1, 1915, in Amsterdam, Ohio, a son of the late Andrew and Agnes Lapinski Bencloski. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a service manager for Durbiano Chevrolet, Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tony Bencloski; and four brothers , Andrew, Joe, Michael and Leonard. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Knor Bencloski; a son, Daniel Bencloski of Pittsburgh; two daughters , Nancy Wasielewski of Penn Hills, and Karen Butalla of North Huntingdon; a daughter-in-law, Diane Bencloski of North Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Alycia, Jessie, Stacey and Michail; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the SHIRLEY-KUKICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, Circleville, North Huntingdon, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park.

CHESTER M. BOOHER

Chester M. Booher, 94, of Cape Coral, Fla., died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in the Gulf Village Care Center in Florida. He was born Feb. 25, 1906, in Pitcairn, a son of the late Clarence and Bertha Dewalt Booher. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 46 years, as a carrier for 33 years, then as a clerk and finally as postmaster. He was a life member of the West Penn Auto Club, a life member of the Pitcairn Fire Department, N.A.L.C., AARP, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite and the Cape Coral Executive Golf Club, and was a director of Camp B for Boys in Pitcairn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Wilson Booher; his second wife, Dorothy Barner Booher; three brothers , Russell, Leonard and Clifford Booher; and three sisters , Laura Kukenbrod, Mary Emma Leeper and one in infancy. He is survived by a son, Dr. Donald Booher and his wife, Lana, of Evergreen, Colo.; a daughter, Sandra Wootton and her husband, Woody, of North Huntingdon; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jeff Wootton and his son, Scott, of North Huntingdon, Shari Wootton of California, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. David (Cris) Dempsey of New Brockton and their daughter, Chelsea, Mr. and Mrs. James (Amy) Marsh of Waco, Texas , and their son, Bryson, Lt. Ross Booher, JAG of the U.S. Navy in Japan, and John Booher of Evergreen, Colo.; sisters -in-law, Verna Booher of White Oak and Bea Barner of Louisville, Ky.; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the SHIRLEY-KUKICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, Circleville, North Huntingdon, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park.
