OCEAN ISLE BEACH, N.C. — Gerald DeWayne Floyd, 48, died Thursday, July 4, 2002.

Arrangements will be announced by Brunswick Funeral Service and Crematory in Shallotte, N.C.

George W. Green

LORIS — George Washington Green, 67, of Alice Drive, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at home after an illness.

He was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Lauderdale County, Ala., a son of the late Charles and Allie Riner Green.

He was retired and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Bouchard Green; two sons, Charles Green and his wife, Anita, of Loris and John Green and his wife, Renee, of Loris; six daughters, Denise King and her husband, Gilbert, of Cherokee, Ala., Gisele Smith and her husband, John, of Lake Station, Ind., Paula Fuller and her husband, Andy, of Tuscumbie, Ala., Freda Russell and her husband, Rodney, of Tuscumbie, Bobbie Jo Tingle and her husband, Chris, of Central, Ala., and Kathy Nethery of Champaign, Ill.; three sisters, Louise Creasy of Central and Lucile Humphreys and Barbara Stone, both of Tuscumbie; four brothers, Gary Green of Lake Station, Charles Green of Tuscumbie, Herschel Green of Waterloo, Ala., and Bobby Green of Spring Valley, Ala.; 24 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be private.

Grand Strand Funeral Home and Crematory of Myrtle Beach is in charge.

GEORGETOWN — Myrtle Pope Goude, 76, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Mayer Funeral Home, Georgetown chapel.

Arrangements will be announced by the funeral home.

Daniel W. Hardwick Jr.

CHERAW — Daniel Webster Hardwick Jr., 84, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at Chesterfield General Hospital after an illness.

CALABASH, N.C. — Carl D. Lucas of Two Topsail Court, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Seacoast Medical Center.

MURRELLS INLET — Frank A. Negri Sr., 87, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002.

Arrangements will be announced by McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach.

Mark D. Prince

LORIS — Mark Duane Prince, 39, of East S.C. 9 Business, died Friday, July 5, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris.

Arrangements will be announced by Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris.

Willie M. Singleton

GEORGETOWN — Willie Mae Singleton, 49, died Friday, June 28, 2002.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; her mother, Bernice; sons, O'Neil Jr. and Kenny; a stepdaughter; seven siblings; and grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. today at First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at the church.

Wilds Funeral Home in Georgetown is in charge.

Lizzie M. Spivey

TABOR CITY, N.C. — Lizzie Mae Spivey, 65, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at home.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tabor City.

William E. Svedberg Jr.

ANDREWS — William Erik Svedberg Jr., 64, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Arrangements will be announced by Graham Funeral Home in Georgetown.

GEORGETOWN — The Rev. Ollie Buster Tucker, 72, of the Plantersville community, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

James `Jimmy' D. Tyler

MYRTLE BEACH — James "Jimmy" Dwight Tyler, 54, husband of Jean Daniel Tyler and the son of Bill and Irene Tyler, died Friday, July 5, 2002.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach.

The family will be at the home of his parents 702 First Ave. N.

Arrangements will be announced by McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach.
