Corine Kinard
Corine Moon Kinard, 73, of 151 Highland Drive, widow of Rufus Rudolph Kinard Sr., died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003 at her home.
Born in Elberton, Ga., she was a daughter of the late George Henry and Mattie Lou Yeargin Moon. She retired from Greenwood Mills, Plant No. 5, was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, the Willie Miller Sunday School Class and the Golden Oldies Senior Group.
Survivors include two sons, Rufus R. “Rickey” Kinard Jr. and Wendell E. Kinard, both of Greenwood; a daughter, Kay D. Kinard of the home; four brothers, Elmer Moon of Anderson, J.E. Moon and Walter Moon, both of Elberton, Ga. and Henry Moon of Toccoa, Ga.; four sisters, Mary Scarborough, Mattie Lou Yeargin and Mildred Slay, all of Elberton, Ga. and Ruth Raborn of Jackson, S.C.; her stepmother, Velma Moon of Elberton, Ga. and two stepsisters, Louis Raborn of Greenwood and Sally Alexander of Elberton, Ga.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Blyth Funeral Home, conducted by the Revs. David Cobb and Joseph Ouzts.
Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Chris Kinard, Jason Kinard, Jonathan Kinard, Brandon Kinard, Wayne Sartin, Scott Woodard, John Hansen, Richard Carter and Mike Clark.
Honorary escorts are members of the Willie Miller Sunday School Class of Beulah Baptist Church.
Visitation is 10-11 Monday at Blyth Funeral Home.
The family is at the home.

Louise West Lengel
GASTON — Louise Suber West Lengel, 77, of 4465 Highway 321, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003 at her home.
Born in Jacksonville, Fla., she was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Ellen Rudd Suber. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include five sons, Jimmy West of Bruswick, Ga., David West of Jacksonville, Fla., Steve West of Tennessee, Barry West of Trion, Ga. and Dane West of the home; a stepson, Frank Lengel of West Columbia; two stepdaughters, Barbara Lengel and Deb Lengel, both of Columbia; two sisters, Myrtis Ellison and Betty Parrish, both of Jacksonville, Fla.
A graveside service was conducted Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Blyth Funeral Home was in charge.

Samuel L. Nance
Samuel Loranza Nance, 71, of 208 Watson St., died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Loranza Nance and Addie Brownlee Nance. He was a member of Durham Temple C.M.E. Church and a veteran of WWII. He was employed at K-Mart, the Greenwood Packing Plant and as a security guard in Detroit.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Denise Robinson and Sherri Lynn Nance, both of Greenwood; a brother, Nathaniel Nance of Due West; three sisters, Princola Scott of Detroit, Palene Dorn of Anderson and Mary Grier of Grier; three grandchildren; and a special friend, Elizabeth Palmore of the home.
The family is at the home of a daughter, Wanda Denise Robinson, 202-A Brooks Stuart Drive.
Services will be announced by Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home.

Charles Allen Page Sr.
PRINCETON — Charles Allen Page Sr., 70, of 433 Boyce Page Road, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003 at his home.
Born In Campobello, S.C., he was a son of the late James Boyce and Lydia Ponder Page. He was a Christian and a member of Princeton Baptist Church. He retired from Laurens Glass Co. and owned and operated Furman’s Cleaners in Ware Shoals. He worked for American Security and helped establish P & P Cable Construction contracting for Charter Communications and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Easter Lollis Page of the home; a son, Charles Allen (Chuck) Page Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Michael T. (Pattie) Kicklighter of Princeton; two brothers, James Furman Page of Ware Shoals and Dwight Page of Fountain Inn; two sisters, Mrs. Bobby (Anne) Reid of Greenville and Mrs. Jerry (Hilda) Tumblin of Simpsonville; three granddaughters, three stepgrandchildren, four great-grandsons, and three step-great-grandsons.
Services are 3 p.m. Monday at Princeton Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Gerald Crawford and Terry Wilson. The body will be place in the church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mike Pitts, George Franklin, Steve Brown, Lance Roper, Tony Yeager and Ray Human.
Honorary escort is the Bible Book No. 1 Sunday School Class of Princeton Baptist Church.
Visitation is 7-9 tonight at Parker-White Funeral Home Inc., Ware Shoals.
The family is at the home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.

Katherine S. Tipton
Katherine Salter Tipton, 82, of 115 New Castle Road, widow of Woodrow Tipton, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003 at Self Regional Medical Center.
The family is at the home.
Visitation is 7-9 Monday at Blyth Funeral Home.
Services will be announced by Blyth Funeral Home.

Services for Robert Lee Floyd, of 371 Joe Lewis Blvd., are 2 p.m. Saturday at Robinson & Son Mortuary, conducted by the Pastor John H. Parks. Burial is in Evening Star Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are friends of the family.
Flower bearers are April Childs, Shay Griffin, Sequetta Jemison, Crystal Tate, Tan Reid, Nicole Reid and Towanda Morton.
Honorary escorts are members of Wheels of Thunder Motorcycle Club on their motorcycles. Other bikers may ride their cycles.

NINETY SIX — Mary Frances Goodwin Fuller, 75, of 206 Eddy Road, widow of Jim M. Fuller Sr., died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 at her home.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Horace M. and Nannie V. Wood Goodwin. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Fuller Hewett of Ninety Six, Diane Fuller Woods of Greenwood and Joyce Fuller Norris of Lexington; two sons, Jim M. “Buddy” Fuller Jr. of Greenwood and David Paul Fuller of Ninety Six; two sisters, Ella Mae Powell of Fair Play and Amber Lee Tony of Anderson; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Harley Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. E.A. Cooper. Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are grandsons: Tandy Woods Jr., Jason Woods, Staff Sgt. Jim Fuller III, Robby Norris, Kevin Hewett and Jeffery Hewett.
Honorary escorts are granddaughters: Kristi Fuller Murphy, Mary Helen Escoe, Deana Renae Hewett Brewer, Tammy Woods Upton, Kim Hewett Carroll and Amber Michelle Woods.
Visitation is 7-9 Friday at the funeral home.

CALHOUN FALLS — Lottie Mae Rudder Hall, 87, of 405 Seneca St., wife of Lyman Hall, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003 at the Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Luther V. and Lexie Thompson Rudder. She was a retired weaver in the textile industry and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Jeweline Donehue of Greer and Diann Townsend of New Bern, N.C.; two sons, Wayne Hall of Irmo and Ray Hall of Anderson; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Waters and Mildred Wiley, both of Calhoun Falls; and a brother, L.V. Rudder of Calhoun Falls.
Services are 4 p.m. today at Calhoun Falls Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Dalton. Burial is in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville.
Visitation is 2:30-4 today at the funeral home.

Henrietta N. Knorr
Henrietta Neumann Knorr, 88, of 1110 Marshall Road, widow of Norman F. Knorr, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Detroit, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Martha Haier Neumann. She was a retired administrative assistant to the Superintendent of Schools in Warren Woods, Mich. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Tulip Garden Club, the Keowee Club and Immanuel Lutheran Church Joy Group.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Richardson of Greenwood and Linda Becker of Silver Springs, Md.; a son, Norman Knorr of Fremont, Mich.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was 4 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. John Setzler. Memorial services are also at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, Warren, Mich. Burial is at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Eastpointe, Mich.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 501 E. Creswell Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646. Harley Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Lillie M. Lewis
NINETY SIX — Lillie M. Lewis, 97, of 1306 Martin Town Road, widow of Tommy Lewis, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood. She was first married to the late Smith Higgins.
Born in Edgefield, she was a daughter of the late Lona and William Holmes. She was a member of Liberty Spring Baptist Church and joined Antioch Baptist Church under Christian watch care. She was a member of the Burial Aide Society.
Survivors include three sons, Howard Higgins and Heyward Higgins, both of Ninety Six and George Higgins of Greenwood; a daughter, Mrs. Chris (Lona B.) Williams of Elyria, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Sallie Coates Holden of Middlesex, N.C.; a brother, Tobie “TB” Holmes of Edgefield; a sister, Mary Etta Williams of Greenwood; 16 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 50 great-great-grandchildren.
The family is at the home.
Services will be announced by Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home, Greenwood.

Bobby Carl Prince Sr.
WARE SHOALS — Bobby Carl Prince Sr., 67, of 3 W. Summit St., died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
Born in Union, he was a son of the late James Virgil and Mary Jane Vinson Prince. He served in the Air Force and had been employed by Clinkscales Chevrolet, Belton. He was a member of Ware Shoals Masonic Lodge No. 306 and Tri City Shrine Club.
Survivors include a son, B.J. Prince Jr. of Ware Shoals; a daughter, Julie Prince of Ware Shoals; four brothers, Johnny, Robert and David Prince, all of Union and James Prince of Kentucky; a sister, Mary Brittlen of Georgia; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is at the home.
Services are private.

Willie Smith Sr.
ABBEVILLE — Services for Willie Smith Sr., of 422 Vienna St., are 2 p.m. Friday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, conducted by Brothers Anthony Davis and Randall Kidd. The body will be placed in the hall at 1.
Pallbearers are Charles Smith, Sam Bell, Larry Jackson, Cedric Smith, Donnell Williams and Paul Smith.
Flower bearers are nieces.
The family is at the home.

Fannie Mae Tolbert
McCORMICK — Fannie Mae Hill Tolbert, 94, of Route 2, Highway 378 East, widow of Jasper “Jake” Tolbert, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003 at her home.
Born in Edgefield County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Hettie Chamberlain Hill. She was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday School teacher and a member of the senior choir, Burial Aide Society and The Heroines of Jericho.
Survivors include two daughters, Sallie Mae Dean of McCormick and Hattie Philpot of North Augusta; two sons, James W. Tolbert and John Henry Tolbert, both of McCormick; a sister, Gladys Lewis of Masury, Ohio; two nieces reared in the home, Mary Hill and Martha Hill, both of Maryland; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family is at the home.
Services will be announced by Walker Funeral Home.
