Jeremy David Puckett Rowland, 24, of Eagleville, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004.
A native of Murfreesboro, Mr. Rowland was the son of Jason Frederick Grady Rowland and Ann Puckett Hartmann. He was an electrician with Eubanks Electric and a 1998 graduate of Hayden High School.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ann and Robert Hartmann of Eagleville; his father, Jason Frederick Grady Rowland of Murfreesboro; brothers Michael Rowland, Jason Rowland and Kaleb Rowland, all of Murfreeboro; sister Lisa Rowland of Murfreesboro; grandparents Clarence Puckett of Eagleville and Grady Rowland of Rockvale; aunts and uncles Mary and Bob Taylor, Bill Rowland and Ann Rowland, all of Murfreesboro; Betty and Doye Rowland of Eagleville and Brent and Patricia Rowland of Readyville; and several cousins.

Dot Leverette, 74, of Unionville, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, in Shelbyville after an extended illness. She was a native of Davidson County and was a daughter of the late Johnny and Rosetta Rusher Tillman. She was a member of the Rover Baptist Church and a member of the Bedford County Senior Citizens. She retired after 25 years of service at Community School working as a food service technician.
She was preceded in death by husband Virgil O'Neal Leverette, who died in March of 2003; a son, Johnny Leverette, who died in June of 2003; and two great-grandsons: Darrin Leverette and Perry Woodruff.
She is survived by daughter Pam Hirt, of Shelbyville; sons Ronnie Leverette, of Murfreesboro, and Jason Leverette, of Unionville; daughter-in-law Wilma Leverette, of Unionville; sister Jenny Brake, of Unionville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Charles (Chuck) Ivie Burns Jr., 53, of Rockvale, died Thursday, October 7, 2004, at his home.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of Charles Ivie and Patricia Dougherty Burns, of Rockvale. He is also survived by sisters Dixie Ivylyn Burns, Crystal Burns Leathers and Patricia Helen Johnson, all of Rockvale; grandmother Mrs. Mary Shell, of Rockvale.
Mr. Burns was a graduate of Rockvale High School and a truck driver.

Ralph Edward Williams, 47, of Rockvale, died Monday, October 4, 2004, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
A native of West Virginia, he was the son of Ralph and Faye Williams, of West Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by wife Anna Nall Williams; son Ralph Williams Jr., of Murfreesboro; brothers Bob Williams, of West Virginia, and Darrell Williams, of North Carolina; sister Ruth Williams, of West Virginia; five grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was a member of the Baptist church, a veteran of the U.S. Army, a truck driver/owner. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Williams, who died Dec. 1, 1999.

Jessie B. Blanton, 80, of Unionville, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at the Alvin C. York Veterans Administration Medical Center in Murfreesboro. Mr. Blanton was a native of Bedford County and a son of the late Willie Houston and Mattie Ethlyn "Effie" Pressgrove Blanton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II and the recipient of the Purple Heart Award. Mr. Blanton was a retired chief of the Shelbyville Police Department and also a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Holden Blanton, who died in 1999.
He is survived by daughter Mrs. Judy Stocstill, of Shelbyville; sons Randy Beasley Blanton, of Murfreesboro, and Jerry Wayne Blanton, of Unionville; brother Sammie L. Blanton, of Unionville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Duncan Smith, 90, died Monday, September 27, 2004, at Tennessee Veteran’s Home.
A native of the Salem Community, he was the son of the late Dr. Sidney B. & Lucy Currey Smith.
He is survived by wife Helen Tucker Smith; son Roger E. (Patty) Smith, of Murfreesboro; son Charles C. (Sherry) Smith, of Murfreesboro; sister Mary Eastman Baggenstoss, of Loudon, Tn; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by four brothers, Sidney, Jr., Austin, Roger and Leonard Smith; and four sisters Margaret Brandon, Currey Hollowell, Ruth Yeargan, and Lucia Muse.
He was a veteran of World War II and a retired employee of the State of Tenn and a farmer. Mr. Smith served in the Tennessee State Legislature in 1950-51. He was a charter member of the Rutherford County Sportsman Club and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He attended MTSU.

J.W. Layhew, 66, of Rockvale, died Sunday, August 22, 2004, at St. Thomas Hospital.
A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Hershell and Addie Mae Pitts Layhew.
He is survived by sisters Edith Windrow, of Rockvale, and Gloria Burks, of Murfreesboro; brothers Elmer Layhew, of Murfreesboro, Walter Layhew, of Smyrna, and Melvin Layhew, of Rockvale.
Mr. Layhew was a member of the Rockvale Independent Baptist Church and a retired farmer.

AUBREY GHEE
Aubrey Ghee, age 84, of the Holts Corner Community of Marshall County, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Mr. Ghee was born in Marshall County and was a son of the late John Willie and Mattie Belle Eady Ghee. He was a retired master carpenter having worked with Lamb & Manier and Maxwell & Sledge Construction Companies. Mr. Ghee was the oldest member of Owen Hill Masonic Lodge #172 having been a member for 56 years. He was also a life long member of Promise United Methodist Church in the Holts Corner Community. Mr. Ghee was preceded in death by four brothers, Grady Ghee, Marvin Ghee, Bill Ghee and Fred Ghee and by three sisters, Alma Lamb, Pauline Beasley and Edna Blanton.
Mr. Ghee is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marjorie Rigsby Ghee; two daughters, Vickie (Ron) Stinson and Dr. Vivian Ghee Hall, all of the Holts Corner Community; grandchildren, Joshua David Hall, Ian Sean Stinson, Jedidia Caleb Hall, LaDonna Lynn Stinson; many generations of nieces and nephews.Lawrence Funeral Home
Molly Vaughn, 90, of the Jackson Ridge community, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, in Murfreesboro after an extended illness. Mrs. Vaughn was a native of Rutherford County, a homemaker and was a daughter of the late William Henry and Cora Taylor Lynch. She attended the Rocky Glade Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Howard Vaughn, who died in 1967; son Howard C. Vaughn; and granddaughter Rebecca Jewell.
She is survived by daughters Mary Mankin, Doris Schilling and Peggy Jewell, of Murfreesboro; sons James Vaughn and Billy Vaughn, both of Eagleville; sisters Frances Burnett, of Smyrna, and Dorothy Corbitt, of Donelson; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

William Thomas Lee, 85, of Eagleville, died Monday, August 16, 2004, at Southern Hills Hospital. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Roy Douglas and Sallie Thomas Lee.
He is survived by wife Mary Hall Lee; daughter Gail Thomas, of Nashville; brothers T.M. Lee, Raymond Lee and Roger Lee, all of Smyrna, Robert Lee, of Joelton, and Maurice Lee, of Almaville; sisters Estelle Wood and Tillie Hager, both of Smyrna, Elene Butts, of College Grove, and Sadie Holt, of Nashville; grandchildren Timothy Wayne Thomas, Tammy Lee Scott, Teresa Gail Smith; great-grandchildren Joshua Benjamin Thomas, Lauren Denise Scott, Bethany Paige Smith and Emilee Nicole Scott.
Mr. Lee was a member of the Eagleville Church of Christ. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Roy and Ricks Lee.
