Myrtle V. Crick, 92, of Memphis, homemaker and retired from Goldsmith's, died Tuesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Elmwood. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and a former member of Temple Baptist Church. Mrs. Crick, the widow of Charles Brandon Crick, leaves two daughters, Sylvia Crick Garrett and Nancy Crick Campbell, both of Memphis, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

George W. Dichtel, 75, of Memphis, master electrician for 50 years, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Family Funeral Care. He was founder of Mid-South Electrical Industries Association and the first recipient of the MSEIA lifetime achievement award. Mr. Dichtel, the husband of Iris Dichtel, also leaves three daughters, Carol Elkins of Lexington, Ky., Cathy Watson of Little Rock and Kim Sawyer of Atlanta; three sons, Chris Dichtel of San Francisco, Richard Dichtel of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Randy Dichtel of Nashville; a stepson, Michael Carmony of Memphis; three sisters, Rosane Pera, Laurine Dichtel and Mary Carolyn Esterman, and a brother, Frank Dichtel, all of Memphis, and seven grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.

Mary Opal Hendricks, 99, of Memphis, formerly of California, retired legal secretary, died Thursday at Allen Morgan Health Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's Episcopal Church with burial in New Elm Ridge Lawn cemetery in Grass Valley, Calif. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. She was a former president of Grass Valley Business & Professional Women's Club and N.C.L.S.A., a charter member of Nevada County Legal Secretaries Association, former Nevada County grand jury chairman and the first woman director of Nevada County Fair Board. Mrs. Hendricks was the widow of Bill Hendricks. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. John's Episcopal Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Elizabeth Brooks Hooker, 87, of Memphis, retired administrative secretary to the dean of student life at the University of Memphis, died Tuesday at Applingwood Health Care Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. She was a member of Eudora Baptist Church and Dixie Rose Society and a national rose judge. Mrs. Hooker, the widow of Earl Hooker, leaves two daughters, Judy Guttery of Germantown and Lynda Hughey of Collierville; a brother, Robert H. Brooks of Florence, Miss., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.

Jett Funeral Home in Collierville has charge. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 116. Mrs. Key, the wife of Derell Key, also leaves her stepfather, William Doyle of Rossville; seven sisters, Bertha Boyd, Mary Beason and Clara Cheers, all of Memphis, Alberta Patrick of Byhalia, Miss., Mandy Jones of Collierville, and Ida Jackson and Martha Cannon, both of Rossville, and four brothers, Pink Hurdle and Frank Wilson, both of Memphis, John W. Doyle of Rossville and Jeremiah Wilson of Milwaukee.
