Alexander Ray, 56, of Memphis, died Friday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Services will be at noon Monday at Ford Chapel AME Zion Church with burial in New Park Memorial Gardens. E.H. Ford Mortuary Services has charge. He leaves three sisters, Helen Ray of Detroit, Pamela Peterson of Memphis and Gladys McGee of Long Beach, Miss.; two brothers, Tommy Lee Ray of Hollywood, Calif., and James Ray of San Francisco, and an aunt who helped care for him, Alberthia McKenzie.

Warren McDonald Thrasher, 66, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Memphis, former employee of the old Memphis Press-Scimitar and Percy Galbreath & Son, died Sunday at Tampa Veterans Administration Hospital.
