Jerry Randall King, 76, of Union City, Tenn., formerly of Memphis, retired from Union City government and former employee of the old Defense Depot, died Wednesday at Union City Manor. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Johnson Grove cemetery in South Fulton, Tenn. Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, Ky., has charge. He was a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of Johnson Grove Baptist Church in South Fulton. Mr. King, the widower of Betty King, leaves three daughters, Shirley Robertson of Paris, Tenn., Deborah Ricklefs of Vancouver, Wash., and Vickie Halleron of Brighton; a son, David King of Memphis; two sisters, Mozell Ross and Eloise Finch, both of South Fulton, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ute Friedrich King, 61, of Memphis, retired City of Memphis zookeeper, died Wednesday at Methodist University Hospital. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. Harvey E. Kolb, 81, of Memphis, a Krystal manager and a Memphis Veterans Medical Center administrator, died Wednesday at his home.
