Eleanor Foulke Young, 92, of Memphis, homemaker, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hickory Withe (Tenn.) First Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial at 2 p.m. Monday in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. Forest Hill Funeral Home East has charge. Mrs. Young, the widow of Lee A. Young, leaves two daughters, Leanore Arnold of Memphis and Jessica Pitner of Durham, N.C.; a son, Ellis Young of Oklahoma City; a brother, Edward Kent of St. Augustine, Fla., five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Hickory Withe First Baptist Church Organ Fund or Hemophilia Society of Memphis.

Bolivar -- James B. Dillard, 63, retired from Harmon Automotive after 30 years, died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Home with burial in Ebenezer cemetery in Toone. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Dillard, the husband of Judy E. Dillard for 41 years, also leaves a daughter, Debbie Naylor of Silerton; a son, William Thomas Dillard of Chattanooga; a sister, Birdie Jones King of Bolivar; two brothers, Thomas Dillard of Toone and Burton Dillard of Bolivar, and four grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Taylor, the wife of Lee Taylor, also leaves seven daughters, Joyce Hardy, Katherine Taylor and Sandra Maben, all of Covington, Judy Mosley-Taylor and Carla Tuchalski, both of Milwaukee, Patricia Taylor of Orlando, Fla. and Latisha Nash of Brighton; four sons, Frank Taylor and Floyd Taylor, both of Milwaukee, and David Taylor and Willie Taylor, both of Brighton; three sisters, Beaulah Lark of Memphis, Rosie L. Jones of Brighton and Viola Taylor of Lansing, Mich.; two brothers, Johnnie Sherrill of Brighton and Robert Sherrill of Chicago, 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Brownsville Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Battle, the widow of Harman Lane and Joe Battle, leaves a daughter, Linda Farmer of Memphis, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Brownsville -- Jessie Mae Hopson, 87, died Saturday at the Regional Hospital of Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rawls Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia cemetery. She was a member of Clover Garden CME Church in Fayette County. Mrs. Hopson, the widow of Steve Hopson, leaves a daughter, Willie Mae Crews of Brownsville; four sisters, Luvina Shepard of Somerville, Lucy Mae Moring of Stanton, Cora Johnson of Bells and Emma Johnson of Brownsville; four brothers, Edward Johnson, Emmitte Johnson and Booker T. Johnson, all of Memphis, and James Johnson of Milwaukee, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was an organizer of the Dyersburg Saddle Club. Mr. Holmes, the husband of Juanita Wright Holmes, also leaves a daughter, Donna Shipley of Dyersburg; a son, Elmo Lynn Holmes of Henning; two sisters, Vassie McDaniel of Memphis and Fern Nash of Friendship, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She leaves two nieces who helped care for her, Helen McNeil of Memphis and Rosie V. Morrow of La Grange.

Ramer -- James Beuard Plunk, 82, retired carpenter, died Thursday at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer with burial in Ramer City cemetery. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of International Laborers Union. Mr. Plunk, the widower of Dorothy Mae Johnson Plunk, leaves two sisters, Beadie Floyd and Irma Huggins, and a brother, Arbie Plunk, all of Selmer.

Toone -- David Franklin Nuckolls, 92, farmer, died Wednesday at Bolivar General Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with burial in Cearley cemetery in Toone. He was a World War II Army veteran, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, a deacon at Toone Baptist Church, a member of Hardeman County Co-Op Board, ASCS Committee and Hardeman County Library Board and former president of Hardeman County Farm Bureau. Mr. Nuckolls, the husband of Moetta Evans Nuckolls for 64 years, also leaves a daughter, Vicki N. Berkau of Smithfield, N.C.; a son, Dan F. Nuckolls of Toone, and three grandchildren.
