Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Faye Wilson, age 68, of Johnson Rd., Huntsville, AL, who passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2004 in Lincoln Medical Center, were held Friday, February 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Berry officiating. Burial followed in Bevills Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Marshall County, AL, daughter of the late Cliff Green Denney & the late Lilla York Denney, an employee of GTE and a member of the Bevills Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband: Edward Wilson; 1 daughter: Linda Haynes; 1 grandson: Jimmy Watwood; 1 brother: Cecil Denney. Survivors include 1 daughter: Sharon & Nelson Taylor of Fayetteville, TN; 3 grandchildren: Jennifer Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Rodney Watwood; 3 sisters: Melba Bartlett, Wanda Morris, Joann Smith all of Cullman, AL; 1 brother: Basil Denney of Arab, AL and several great grandchildren. Visitation was held Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel L. Medley, age 77, of Steele Ln., New Market, AL, who passed away Thursday, March 11, 2004 at her residence, were held Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Annais Green officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Medley was a native of Jackson County, AL, daughter of the late William Paul Howell and the late Sarah Jane Mason Howell, a housewife and a member of the Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Luther Medley in 1988. Survivors include 2 daughters: Joyce Mearse of Huntsville, AL, Glenda Mearse of New Market, AL; 2 sisters: Hazel Osmer of Huntsville, AL, Helen Mooney of New Market, AL; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Friday evening beginning at 5 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Roland was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Robert Landess Roland and the late Annie Ray Bradford Roland, a water meter technician, a member of the Elk Lodge #1792, a member of the VFW & he enjoyed gardening and fishing as hobbies. Mr. Roland was preceded in death by 5 brothers: James Roland, Mason Roland, Jack Roland, Don Roland, David Roland. Survivors include 3 sisters: Lula Quick of Flintville, TN, Margaret Patterson of Taft, TN, Marcella Knight of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother: Billy Ray Roland of Fayetteville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Entombment followed in Spring Hill Mausoleum. Mr. Hagood was a native of Davidson County, TN, son of the late John W. Hagood and the late Maggie Lois McCall Hagood, he was the supervisor of inventory control for Textron/Aerostructures Corp., president of Machinist Local 735 at Aerostructures, deacon, Jr. High Director and House Parents for Happy Acres Children's Home at Madison Church of Christ, foster parent for over 20 years, volunteer to numerous organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, United Way and Volunteer for Life Lines at Two Rivers Baptist Church, volunteered to local elderly citizens for home repairs and maintenance. He was a former baseball coach at UNA Rec Center coaching many players which went on to become both college and professional athletes. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Barbara T. Hagood of Jackson, TN; daughter: Mitzi H. & Mike Seals of Jackson, TN; son: Charles V. & Terry Thompson Hagood of Goodlettsville, TN; 4 grandchildren: Megan & Marshall Seals of Jackson, TN, Allyson & Brennan Hagood of Goodlettsville, TN; 1 sister: Lois Jones of Joelton, TN; 1 brother: Charles Glenn Haygood of Florida and 37 foster children throughout the United States.
