Funeral services for Mr. Delbert McGee, age 87, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, May 21, 2005 in Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Jack Jean and Tom Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. McGee was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Joe Graham McGee and the late Sally Bell Steelman McGee, a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife: Florence McGee; daughter: Wanda Faye & Rodger Jones; sons: Joe Wayne & Suzanne McGee, Richard & Jean McGee all of Fayetteville, TN, Michael & Debra McGee of Cincinnati, OH; sisters: Florence Preston of Lynchburg, TN, Lucille McBee of Shelbyville, TN, Mary Ann Chapman of Fayetteville, TN; 2 favorite friends: Samson & Bandit; 7 grandchildren: Ricky McGee, Keith McGee, Gina McGee Vaughn, Elizabeth Jones Parker, Karen McGee Myers, Brent McGee, Christopher McGee and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Helen Jackson

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Jackson, age 82, of Hazel Green, AL, who passed away Monday, May 23, 2005 at her residence, will be conducted Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Marable officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Madison County, AL, daughter of the late John Henry 'Dink' Finley & the late Mary Louise Kull Finley. She was a housewife and a member of the Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband: Bill Jackson of Hazel Green, AL; daughter: Joyce A. Harris of Columbia, TN; sons: Charlie Hopkins of Keavy, KY, Terry Hopkins of Hazel Green, AL; 1 brother: Harold Finley of Toney, AL; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Bill Farmer

Funeral services for Mr. Bill Farmer, age 69, of Huntsville, AL, who passed away Friday, May 27, 2005 in Crestwood Medical Center, will be conducted Sunday, May 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Farmer was a native of Elora, TN, son of the late Melton William Farmer & the late Mary Etta Kilpatrick Farmer. He was an electrical engineer for the U.S. Army Missile Command, a member of the Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Along with his parents, Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his sister: Sue Farmer on April 17, 2005. Survivors include his wife: Judy Smith Farmer of Huntsville, AL; son: Steve & Kris Sumners of Murfreesboro, TN; sister: Dorothy Farmer Vanatta of Estill Springs, TN; brothers: Wade & Joyce Farmer, Ray & Carolyn Farmer, Tommy & Linda Farmer all of Huntland, TN, Dean & Susan Farmer of Alpharetta, FL; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sue B. Troglen

Funeral services for Mrs. Sue B. Troglen, age 91, of Smith Mill Rd., Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, June 11, 2005 in Donalson Care Center, will be conducted Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Troglen was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late John H. Bostick and the late Callie Lou Lackey Bostick, a machine operator for Serbin, a member of the Prospect Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening & flowers and she worked as a foster grandparent at Highland Rim School for 10 years. Along with her parents, Mrs. Troglen was preceded in death by 3 children: Eugene Jennings, Joe Troglen & Mary Sue Wyatt. Survivors include 2 sons: Phillip Jennings of Athens, AL, David Troglen of Fayetteville, TN; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation withthe family will be held Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Janet Riggins

Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Riggins, age 54, of Hazel Green, AL, who passed away Monday, June 13, 2005 at her residence, will be conducted Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Martin, Rev. Craig Clemons & Rev. Benny Berry officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in Bevills Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Riggins was a native of North Dakota, daughter of the late Aaron Satterfield & the late Verdie Thigpen Satterfield, a housewife, and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed photography, collecting stamps, vacation bible school at church, loved music and singing and she thrilled in making others happy. Along with her parents, Mrs. Riggins is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Mark Satterfield and Curtis Satterfield. Survivors include her husband: Sammy Riggins, 2 daughters: Amanda R. & Brian Luna, Candace Riggins all of Hazel Green, AL; 2 sisters: Lori & Stanley Carter of Hazel Green, AL, Debbie & Mike McBride of San Antonio, TX; 2 brothers: Daryl & Eileen Satterfield of Hazel Green, AL, Mike & Michelle Satterfield of New Hope, AL and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Joni Baker

Funeral services for Mrs. Joni Baker, age 50, of Cornersville, TN, who passed away Friday, June 17, 2005 in St. Thomas Hospital, will be conducted Sunday, June 19, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the Petersburg Chapel of the McCauley Funeral Home, now affiliated with Gallant Funeral Home, with Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery. Mrs. Baker was a native of National City, CA, daughter of Mary Jo Plate Jamison & the late Edward Jamison. She was a machine operator for Abeco Die Cast and a member of the Petersburg First Baptist Church. Along with her mother, Mrs. Baker is survived by 1 son: Nathan Garcia; step-father: Bob Mac Callum of Santle, CA; sisters: Roxanne Sones, Denise Marquiz & 1 brother: Johnny Lee Jamison all of San Diego, CA. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 1 until 3 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel.

Mrs. Aurora Sanchez

Funeral services for Mrs. Aurora Sanchez, age 87, of Flintville, TN, who passed away Monday, June 20, 2005 at her residence, will be conducted Friday, June 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Flintville Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sanchez was a native of  Texas, daughter of the late Juan Martinez & the late Catarina Soto Martinez, and she worked for the laundry department at Lincoln Regional Hospital. Survivors include 4 daughters: Mary Lou Hatley of Flintville, TN, Rachel Johnson of Sanger, CA, Juanita Funk, & Paula Posey both of Fayetteville, TN; 3 sons: Victor Sanchez of Cloverdale, CA, Rudy Sanchez of Blackfoot, Idaho, Chano Sanchez of Flintville, TN; 1 brother: Alexander Martinez of Blackfoot, Idaho; 2 special friends: Janet Spangler & Connie Sims; 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mildred Edmondson

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Edmondson, age 89, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Friday, June 24, 2005 at her residence, will be conducted Sunday, June 26, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. graveside in Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Don Stone officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Edmondson was a native of Hazel Green, AL, daughter of the late Thomas Rice Spelce & the late Lillie Bates Spelce, owner of Mildred's Beauty Salon and a member of the Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: John F. Edmondson. Survivors include her son: John Edmondson III & wife, Marsha of Petersburg, TN; granddaughter: Stephanie D. Pielich of Antioch, TN; sister: Carolyn Sawyer of White House, TN & brother: Zeake Spelce of New Market, Alabama.

Mr. James E. Deal

Funeral services for Mr. James E. Deal, age 74, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2005 in Maury Regional Hospital, will be conducted Friday, July 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Stayton officiating. Burial will follow in Frame Cemetery. Mr. Deal was a native of Moore County, TN, son of the late Julis Franklin Deal & the late Lillie Viola Miles, he was a farmer and a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Mr. Deal was preceded in death by 2 sisters & 1 brother. Survivors include 1 sister: Corlee Eddy of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother: Claude Deal of Flintville, TN; close friends: Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Mathias; 4 nieces & 1 nephew. Mrs. Gayle Sue Spencer

Funeral services for Mrs. Gayle Sue Spencer, age 65, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Lincoln Skilled Care, will be conducted Sunday, July 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Pastor Edwin Fanning officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Mrs. Spencer was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late John Loyd Reese & the late Lillian Sue Bradford Reese. She was a level 5 packer for Cosmo Lab and a member of the Apostolic Life UPC Church. Survivors include 3 sons: Scott Nichols of Farmville, NC, David Spencer of Lebanon, TN, Mike Spencer of Charlston, SC; 2 grandchildren: Lesley Amber Nichols & Bradley Spencer; 1 sister: Almedia Lula Cobb of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother: Charles 'Buddy' Reese of Fayetteville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lucille Storey

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Storey, age 79, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Thursday, July 7, 2005 in Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Friday, July 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Bevills Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Storey was a native of Madison County, AL, daughter of the late A.D. Ward & the late John Ann Johnson Ward. She was a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter: Angelia Olson of Fayetteville, TN; son: Charles Thomas Wilson of Winchester, TN; 1 sister: Myrtle Wilson of Hazel Green, AL; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Thursday evening and until 2 p.m. on Friday at the Gallant Funeral Home.
