Shirley Ann Davis
Shirley Ann Davis died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at her home.

Arrangements will be announced by Taylor Funeral Home.

Mattie Ellis
Mattie Lee Thornton Ellis died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was 73.

Survivors include one son, Abraham Ellis Jr., Chattanooga; his father, Coleman Thornton, Bessemer, Ala.; and three sisters, Connie Vickerson, Annie Bush, and Minnie Collins, all of Detroit.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Hawkinsville Baptist Church with the Rev. Arlinza Mobley and the Rev. Bobby Hampton officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.

Isabelle Farnsworth
Isabelle Farnsworth of Red Bank died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, at her home. She was 77.

The Dayton, Tenn., native had lived in Chattanooga most of her life. She was retired from American National Bank after 45 years, and was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church.

Miss Farnsworth was a graduate of Rhea Central High School and attended Edmondson School of Business.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary A. Farnswroth, Red Bank, and Lucille Kyle, Dayton; and one brother, Emory Farnsworth, Hixson.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today in Ogdon cemetery, Dayton, with the Rev. Harold Buck and the Rev. Mike Hubble officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Red Bank United Methodist Church, 3800 Dayton Blvd., Red Bank, TN 37415.

Arrangements are by the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Lucille Ferguson
Lucille 'Tootsie' Ferguson died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 83.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Mansfield officiating.

Burial will be in Rhea Memory Gardens.

Mollie Frumin
Mollie Ann Frumin, former owner of Mollie Frumin's Bakery, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999.

Graveside services will be today at 11 a.m. in Shari Zion cemetery with Rabbi Josef Davidson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Arrangements are by J. Avery Bryan, Chattanooga.

Henry Fullilove
Henry M. Fullilove died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at an area hospital. He was 61.

Services will be today at noon at Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Tucker officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.

Rilla Guest
Rilla Irene Chandler Guest died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 77.

She had lived in the Rossville area most of her life. She was the widow of Walter Lamar Guest, and a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Janice 'Jamie' Delozier, Valdeaz, Alaska; seven sons, Jerry L., Kenneth W., Ted, Ned, and Mike Guest, all of Rossville, Marty Guest, Chattanooga, and Eddie Guest, Fort Oglethorpe; three brothers, Milton Chandler, Rossville, Adrian Chandler, Gadsden, Ala., and J.C. Chandler, Jacksonville, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Briggs King and the Rev. Larry Underwood officiating.

Burial will be in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.

Visitation will be all day today at the funeral home.

Lydia Hall
Lydia Hall of Chattanooga, and formerly of Cleveland, Tenn., died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was 83.

She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and the widow of Tom G. Hall.

Survivors include two daughters, Rose Bell, Atlanta, and Judi Kegel, Clearwater, Fla.; one son, Jerry L. Hall, Chattanooga; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be today at 9:30 a.m. at the North Chapel of Buckner-Rush Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Bell officiating.

Burial will be in Tyner cemetery in Chattanooga.

Joyce Hough
Joyce Ellen Hough of Red Bank died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at her home. She was 84.

Services will be today at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Mausoleum with the Rev. Darryl Hessel officiating.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.

Thomas Hughes
Thomas Andrew Hughes of Harrison died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999. He was 83.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson and the Rev. Herbie Stokes officiating.

Burial will be in Harrison cemetery.

James Howard
James Dalton Howard of Chattanooga and Huntsville, Ala., died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999. He was 44.

Survivors include one son, Brandon James Howard, Madison, Ala.; mother, Leona McCarty Howard, Huntsville; one sister, Sally Sue Howard, Huntsville; and a brother, David A. Howard, Gatlinburg, Tenn.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Huntsville.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Arrangements are by the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Mattie L. Jordan died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at her home.

Services will be held today at noon at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home with elder Oscar Lockhart officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.

Melvin McConnell
Melvin McConnell of Rossville died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999. He was 70.

He retired from Walker County School System as a bus driver.

Survivors include three sons, Melvin McConnell Jr., Gaylord McConnell, and Justin McSears; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Crombie-Pinkard Funeral Service, with the Rev. Talmadge Clark officiating.

Burial will be in Wallaceville cemetery in Chickamauga, Ga.

Visitation will be today from noon to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Albyne McKenzie
Albyne F. McKenzie died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at the home of her daughter. She was 84.

Services will be today at 10:30 a.m. at the Dodds Avenue Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with minister Ronnie Missildine officiating.

Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be today from 3 to 6:30 at the funeral home.

Dewey Morris
Dewey Morris died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 69.

Arrangements will be announced by Franklin-Strickland Funeral Home.

Michael Myers
Michael John Myers died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, in a local nursing home. He was 66.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary M. Howard, Skaneateles, N.Y., and Ruth M. Gwinn, Syracuse, N.Y.; and a brother, James Myers, Broken Arrow, Okla.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Nolan officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Ollie Pringle
Ollie 'Big Ollie' Pringle died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, in a local nursing home.

Arrangements will be announced by Taylor Funeral Home.

Floyd Raines
Floyd Lee Raines died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 52.

Services will be today at 11:30 a.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Butler officiating.

Burial will be in Chattanooga National cemetery.

Thomas Randolph
Thomas Callaway Randolph of Signal Mountain, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, in a local health care facility. He was 73.

A native of Cleveland, Tenn., he was a CPA and had practiced for 34 years.

He was a veteran of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and a life associate of the Educational and Memorial Foundation of Tennessee CPAs.

Mr. Randolph was a communicant member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church on Signal Mountain, where he served on the vestry and was junior warden.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Randolph; six children, Gay Breakfield, Rock Hill, S.C., Bess Howison, and Thomas C. Randolph Jr., Atlanta, Madison K. Randolph, Sevierville, Tenn., Cary Haney, Signal Mountain and Ashley McMahon, Birmingham; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church with the Rev. David Hackett officiating.

Burial will be in Cleveland.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 630 Mississippi Ave., Signal Mountain, TN 37377.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wann Funeral Home.
