Survivors include his parents, Jason Lee Clements and Lisa Fairbanks Clements; one brother, Jacob Clements, Rossville; paternal grandparents, Edward and Kila Gasaway, Rossville; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Voula Fairbanks, Chattanooga, and Sheryl Fitzgerald, Ooltewah; paternal grandfather David Clements, Rossville; paternal great-grandmother, Jewell Dyer, East Ridge; maternal great-grandparents Eugene H. and Edna Fairbanks, Ooltewah; and maternal great-great-grandmother, Marie Hobby, Atlanta.
Funeral arrangements will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe with the Rev. Terry Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends today from noon to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harry Copeland
Harry Edward Copeland of Rossville died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, in an area hospital.
Funeral services will be today at 11 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe with the Rev. Don Givens and the Rev. Daniel Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
John Dalton
John B. Dalton of Rossville died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 83.
Funeral services will be today at 11 a.m. in the J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home in Chickamauga.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
Charles Davis
Charles Houston 'Buddy' Davis, a native of Rossville and most recently of Weirsdale, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, in Leesburg, Fla. He was 59.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include three sisters, Mary Chambers, Weirsdale, Fla., Barbara Bryson, Chattanooga, and Johnnie Sue Davis, Lady Lake, Fla.; one brother, James Davis, Chattanooga.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Forest Hill cemetery in Weirsdale, Fla.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Page-Theus-Blanchard Funeral Home in Leesburg, Fla.

Leo Grant
Leo W. Grant Jr., of Red Bank died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 70.
He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Law School and had practiced law in Athens County, Tenn.
He served in World War II and the Korean War in the United States Army, where he received the Purple Heart and advanced to the rank of captain.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two daughters, April Ingle, Chattanooga, and Cleo Dyer, Miami; four sisters, Florence Trevor, Charlotte, N.C., Althea Underwood, Melbourne, Fla., Cleo Pace, Las Vegas, and Anne Grant, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge with the Rev. Larry K. Dipbole officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel.

Margaret Hill died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, in a local nursing home.

Ozy Johnson died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999. She was 97.

Darrell 'DeDe' Rodney Kernea of Rossville died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at an area hospital. He was 33.
He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia-Chattanooga area, and he was a former employee of Galaxy Carpet Mills.
Survivors include his parents, Clyde and Delores Kernea, Rossville; one sister, Karen Carpenter, Chattanooga; and one brother, Dewayne Kernea, Rossville.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe.
Burial will be in the Chickamauga City cemetery.

She was a native of McMinnville, Tenn., and had resided in Fort Oglethorpe prior to moving to Michigan.

She was a member of Thompkin Chapel A.M.E. Church and was formerly employed by Lou Center's Star Store.
