He was an avid sportsman, baseball player, and coached minor league baseball in years past in the Knoxville area. Preceded in death by brother, Elmer; sisters, Annie Maples and Mary Nell Hale.

White, Earl C., age 85, of South Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at Baptist Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was retired from the Knox County Sheriff’s Department as a process server.

Lawrence, Jason Christopher Tylor was born
November 28, 2003 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital to his proud parents Krista Easley and Jason Lawrence. He passed away December 2, 2003 surrounded by his family and dedicated nurses and doctors in the NICU at Children’s Hospital. Jason was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Aileen Hundley; great-grandfather, Jimmy Lawrence; his cousins, Jason Hileman, Courtney Estes and Timothy Rhinehart.
Survivors
Proud parents Krista Easley and Jason Lawrence. He is the first grandchild of Johnny and Melissa Easley, Sandy and George Western, and Darrell Lawrence. He will also be greatly missed by his uncles and aunt; Christopher and Chelsey Easley and Brian Lawrence; great-great aunt Mamie Rhinehart; great-grandparents, James and Shirley Taylor, Martha and Darrell Brown, Phyllis and Richard Coffey. Jason will be sadly missed by his many great-aunts and uncles and many cousins. We would like to thank all the family and friends who gave their support and prayers. We would like to express our gratitude to all of Jason’s doctors and nurses for the amazing care they showed our baby Jason. God blessed our lives for a short time with his gift of Jason. That time was priceless. Jason will always be in our hearts and loved by all. Jason bloomed on Earth and will blossom in Heaven.

He was on the first live TV show in Knoxville, playing the guitar with Jim Early and the Westerneers. He played in various groups over the years. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Evelyn Lane; stepmother, Nell Lane; brothers, George Ruble, Howard Ruble and Arlie Lane; sisters, Edna Mynatt, Bonnie Lawson and Inez Gentry; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Lane; son-in-law, Allen Hart.

Fields, Ruth Anna, age 82, of South Knoxville, returned to God and her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 16, 2003. Ruth was born
in Knoxville on April 16, 1921 to Roy and Jama Lindsey. She was a life long member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was retired from Knox County Schools after 30 years, most of those years spent at Vestal and Mt. Olive Schools. She loved gardening and was known in her neighborhood for her beautiful flowerbeds. Ruth was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 62 years, James A. Fields and four of her siblings.
