Kingsport - Sheridan Bellamy, 65, of Kingsport, has gone home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Bellamy attended the Christ Covenant Church in Kingsport.
Hew as preceded in death by his father, Clifton Bellamy.
Surviving are his wife, Marian Plitzko of Kingsport; four daughters, Joy Bellamy of North Carolina, Donna K Byington, Amber Richardson, and Sarah (Princess) Plitzko all of Kingsport; two sons, Jeffery Bellamy of North Carolina and Clifton Blackard of Kingsport; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; his mother, Louise Greer of Kingsport; two sisters, Linda Saults of Knoxville and Sue Tomlinson of Kingsport; one brother, Ricky Perry of Kingsport along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 11 am to 12 noon, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. Memorial services will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Richard Knapp, officiating.

Mancel Sutherland
KINGSPORT - Mancel Odell Sutherland, age 66 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 29, 2006 with his loving companion, Judy Kay Dalton, at his side. Born in Dickenson County VA, Mancel had been a resident of Kingsport since 1987. He had worked in Grundy, VA for the Dominion Coal Corporation for 13 years and Jewel Ridge Coal Mines for 7 years. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Church in Dickenson County, VA.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Counts and mother, Kancy Mae Sutherland Ramey, two sons, Michael and Shane David Sutherland and his grandparents, Rans and Ida Bell Sutherland.
He is survived by his loving companion, Judy Kay Dalton of the home; daughters, Florence Peck and husband Billy and Crystal McClanaham and husband John; sons, Randall Sutherland and wife Pam, Gary Sutherland and wife Sherry, Gregory Sutherland and Matthew Sutherland and wife Sandy all of Grundy, VA step-daughter, Tasha Hudson, of Kingsport step-sons, Ronald Lynn Hudson and William Dalton, Jr. both of Kingsport; twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, Samantha Dalton and Austin Dalton both of Greeneville; sisters, Edith Comer, Edie Sutherland and Lucille Shafer all of Kingsport; brothers, Roy Sutherland and wife Janice of Kingsport, Blaine Sutherland and wife Cathy of Troutman, NC and Paul Sutherland of Altus, OK; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Shanna and Ronnie Smith and Debbie Stubblefield and his beloved pets, Daisy and Bandit.
Calling hours will be from 5:30-7:30 PM on Sunday July 30, 2006 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. Friends may also call anytime at the residence at 330 Sewanee Ave. Kingsport, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jack Morelock officiating. Music will be provided by the Morelock Family. Burial will follow in Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Smith, Kenny Vandyke, Neal Castle, Andy Shafer, David O'Quinn, Buddy Shafer, Jr. William Dalton, Jr. and Ulsyess Sutherland.

Wilburn Oliver
II Timothy 4:7 ......... I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
KINGSPORT - Wilburn Kenner Oliver, age 61 of Kingsport, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2006 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a short illness.
Born in Kingsport, Wilburn had lived here all of his life. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was stationed in Germany, where he met his wife Brenda Hall. He was an employee of Holston Valley Medical Center, retiring in 1986 due to ill health. Wilburn was a loving husband, father and brother, and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie (Wyatt) Oliver; father, Enoch Oliver, Sr.; step-mother, Stella Oliver; sister, Laura Oliver and brother, Enoch Oliver, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Brenda Christine Hall Oliver of the home; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Orsbourn of Knoxville; son, Wilburn Christopher Oliver of Kingsport; sisters, Faye Davidson and husband Hershel, Shirley Cannon and husband Donald, Susan Oliver, Karen Oliver and Debbie Larkey and husband Isaac; brother, James Oliver and wife Charlotte all of Kingsport; sister-in-law, Connie Oliver of Knoxville; nieces and nephews, Nicole Mullins, Shane Oliver and Whitney Oliver; Pappy's Special Girl, Kayla Hill; uncle, James K. Wyatt and wife Charlotte of Mt. Carmel.
Calling hours will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday August 2, 2006 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Services will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wilburn E. Wyatt, Jr. officiating. Music will be provided by Josh and Kristen Smith.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 AM.
The family request, that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The American Heart Association Tenn, 208 Sunset Drive, Johnson City, TN 37601.

Bryan Adams
Baileyton, TN - Bryan Keith Adams, of Baileyton, TN, a local wildlife artist and quadriplegic, died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at his home after a brief struggle with cancer. He was 48.
He was a longtime resident of Kingsport and a sometime resident of Wimberley Texas, his "second favorite state."
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Bowlin; his step-grandmother, Thelma Faye Lazenby; his maternal grandfather, Coy Lazenby, with whom he shared an especially close relationaship; his paternal grandmother, Iva Bowlin Adams, who doted on him and whom he held most dear; his paternal grandfather Rome Adams.
He is survived by his three year old son, Noah Benjamin Adams, the greatest of many blessings in his life; his wife, Amy Adams, who is lost without him; his brother and faithful companion, Jeff Adams and his cherished parents Marvin and Janice Adams of Kingsport, who will miss him terribly. Bryan is also survived by a large extended family with whom he has always been close, including his dear Aunt Clara Lee Gragg and her children, Mrs. Kay Taylor, Bud, Mike and Joe Gragg all of Kingsport; his maternal aunts, Mrs. Peggy Hulse, Mrs. Clara Lee Wright, Mrs. Rose Zella Wright, Mrs. Delilah Beckum, Mrs. Donna Pack, Mrs. Shirley Bell; his paternal aunts and uncles, Mrs. Sherril (Eastelee) Vaughn, Mrs. Shermalean Johnson, Willard Adams, Jerry Adams, Paul Adams and their families. Bryan's great aunt Clara Barton of Baileyton was also an especially dear person in his life. Bryan also leaves behind countless friends and loved ones who will never forget his presence in their lives.
Calling hours will be from 5-7 PM, Wednesday August 9, 2006 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport or anytime at the residence of his parents, Marvin and Janice Adams, 2012 Diana Road, Kingsport, TN.
Services honoring Bryan's life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dr. Mark A. Grubb of Friendsville, TN officiating, with special music and remembrances.
Burial will follow in Caney Creek Church cemetery, Horton Highway, Baileyton, TN. Pallbearers will be his brother, Jeff Adams, cousin, Gary Vaughn, and special friends, Dennis Linkous, Rob Cole, Damon Barnett and Richard Hicks. Honorary Pallbearerss will be cousins, Joe Gragg, Mike Gragg, Bud Gragg and dear friend, Mike Baird

Bertha Simpson Crawford

Kingsport - Bertha Simpson Crawford, born on February 2, 1921, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 , at her residence.
She is a member of Springdale Baptist Church and in recent years attended Dorothy Street Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brancha in 1976, her father and mother, Mid and Emma Line Simpson; a sister, Fannie Houseright and two brothers, Herbert and William Simpson.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lois Pierce and husband John and Lucinda "Cindy" Johnson and husband Robert; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Crawford and wife Ann and Ralph Crawford and wife Kathe, all of Kingsport; 2 granddaughters, Vickie Winstead and husband Bob and Tammy Wagner and husband Bill; three great-grandchildren, Joseph Winstead, Rachel Winstead, and Leeann Wagner; a chosen granddaughter and grandson, Ashely Moss and Shawn Bentley; three sisters, Evelyn Templeton of Rogersville, Carrie Webster of Rogersville,and Betty Manis of Church Hill; two brothers, Rev. Joe Simpson of Rogersville and Jim Simpson of Church Hill, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 4 - 7 pm on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Allen Buckles, Rev. Keith Smith and Rev. Ralph Crawford, officiating. Music will be provided by Springdale Baptist Church and D. L. Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Oak Hill cemetery, Garden of the Last Supper, Kingsport. Pallbearers will be Dayton Luster, Paul Carpenter, Harold Martin, Pete Foster, Dwayne Simpson, Phillip Webster, Raymond Housewright, and Kyle Housewright. Honorary Pallbearers are his nieces and nephews.
The family is eternally grateful for mom's primary physicians down thru the years, Malcolm Jones, Evan Lewis and their kind staff. Indian Path Hospital, Home Health Care and Hospice. All the many pastors and Pleasant View's radio ministry, which has been Mom's worship each Sunday morning these last years.
Memorial contributions may be made to Springdale Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1616 Haga Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.

Kathleen Jones
Kingsport - Mrs. Kathleen (Kakie) Jones, 80, of Kingsport, passed away at 10 Pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at Church Hill Health Care & Rehab. Center.
She was a member of the Glenwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Deward and Gracie Stallard of Erwin; her husband, Hubert Jones, Jr.; a son, Dennis Wayne Jones; three brothers, Johnny, Kenneth and Kyle Stallard and two sisters, Jackie Allen Stallard and Shirley Fenech.
Surviving is her son, Richard Lynn "Dicky" Jones and wife Jeannie of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Kristi Nichole Jones, Cory Norman Jones, and Jennifer Ann Belle; three sisters, Bernice Sanders of Johnson City, Charlotte Lewis of Erwin and Gale Battlefield of Haughtan, Louisiana; one brother, Gene Stallard of Capobella, SC along with several nieces and nephews.
A private interment icon will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport. A public celebration of her life will be held at 6 pm on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Glenwood Baptist Church, with various speakers. Her favorite hymns will be sung and played by Mary Barker. The family will receive friends immediately following her service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Glenwood Baptist Church, 2601 East Center Street, Kingsport, TN 37664.

Suzanne L. Johnson
Kingsport - Suzanne LeBeau Johnson, 59, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Hillside Manor Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille DeFore LeBeau and her brother, Johnny LeBeau.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Johnson; her children, Kellie Gayfield and husband Richard Lee, Robby Johnson and wife Tonya and Carla LaForce, all of Kingsport; her eight grandchildren, Mindy Nichole Johnson, John "Brad" Gilliam, Greg LaForce, Stephanie Gayfield, Josh LaForce, Brooke Johnson, Ashley Lee and Rachel Suzanne Johnson; her sister, Annette St. Pierre; two nieces, Jackie Deabona Ventura and Cheryl Frechette; two nephews, Stevie St. Pierre and David St. Pierre and close and dear friends,Edith Hinkle and Brenda Burns.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm on Friday, August 25, 2006 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. A celebration of her life will be conducted at 7 pm in the funeral home with Rev. David Reynolds, officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 900 E. Hill Avenue, Suite 240, Knoxville, TN 37615.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Dr. Marta Wayt and the nursing staff at Hillside Manor Health Care.
