Jewel Christine Stack, 71, a loving wife and homemaker died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tenn. She was an active member of the Highland Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ed "Buck" Stack of Cedar Hill, Tenn.; two daughters, Mary (Leland) Lane of Cedar Hill, Tenn., and Joanie (William) Brewer of Springfield, Tenn.; sister Lorene (Charles) Delius of Nashville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Ginny Morefield and Brittney Morefield and a host of close family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Roxie Woodard and her son, Tommy Lee Stack.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 24 at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Reynolds officiating. Friends served as pallbearers. Interment
was in the Heads cemetery in Cedar Hill, Tenn.

Henry "Jack" MOBLEY
Henry "Jack" Mobley, 64, a retired sheet metal worker, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at his home in Ashland City, Tenn.
Visitation with family will be held March 31, 2004, from 8 a.m. until time of service at Boyd Funeral Home, Ashland City, Tenn. Service will be held at 10 a.m. March 31 at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Ollie Binkley officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment
will be in the Spring Hill cemetery in Nashville, Tenn.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Maggie" Mobley of Ashland City, Tenn.; two sons, Michael (Cecilia) Mobley of Nashville, Tenn., Timothy Mobley of Springfield, Tenn.; daughter, Jacquelyn (David) Binkley of Ashland City, Tenn.; two brothers, four sisters, and six grandchildren: Brandi Elmore, Nicole Binkley, T.J. Mobley, Johnathn Mobley, Sarah Mobley and Patrick Mobley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Nancy Hammonds Mobley and his late wife, Patsy Marie Mobley.

Darlene Jeanetta GOOLSBY
Darlene Jeannetta Goolsby, 72, of Clarksville, Tenn., died at her residence Thursday, May 27, 2004. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
Survivors are sons, Larry Goolsby and Danny Byard of Clarksville; daughters, Patricia Gregory of Austin, Texas, Linda Frame of Clarksville, Tenn., and Carol Bracey of Ashland City, Tenn.; brother, Joseph E. Guy, Jr. of Monroe, Ga.; 14 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Byard.
Funeral services was held Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at 11 a.m. at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home, Clarksville. Burial was in Nashville National cemetery. Pallbearers were John Parker Goolsby, Brent Byard, Jeff Byard, Josh Bracey, Jake Bracey, Christopher Moore Jr., Jason Gregory, Brian Gregory.
McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Leon LEGG
Leon Legg, 73, died Wednesday, March 31,, 2004, at his home in Ashland City, Tenn. He was born Jan. 6, 1931, in Bradrick, Ohio, to the late Morris and Gladys Bias Legg. In 1967, Leon and his family moved to Hollywood, Fla., where he was employed by Sears, Roebuck and Company for 25 years, until his retirement. In 1999, he and his wife, Carol, moved to Tennessee to be closer to two of their children. He was a member of the Ashland City church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and in 2003 by his son, Bob.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Callicoat Legg; son Morris (Meredeth, Mary Ellen and Mark) Legg of Cooper City, Fla.; daughter, Janie Legg (Joe, Joanna and Marissa) Stone of Ashland City, Tenn.; sister Wanda Legg of Huntington, W.V.; brother Jimmie Legg of Proctorville, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 27, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister Steve Smith; burial in Rome cemetery, Procotorville. John Tom Wright
John Tom Wright, died Sept. 29, 2003. He was born Sept. 29, 1920. He was a native of Crisp County, Ga., a retired ABHC, U.S. Navy. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by wife, Vivian Rebekah Binkley; mother, Mattie Mae Dorough and father, James Joseph Wright.
He is survived by sons: Marvin (Buddy) Wright, Ashland City, Phillip Wright, Rome, N.Y., Richard Wright, Cordele, Ga., Joe Joe Wright, Cordele, Ga.; daughter, Johnnie Ruth Lewis of Marietta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren.
His funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at the chapel of the Hughes and Wright Funeral Home, Cordele, Ga. The chapel services were conducted by the Rev. Lawton Sammons with Joe Joe Wright, Mr. John Tom Wright's son, giving the eulogy.
Eula Jo Sheffield, pianist, provided soft music for the service. She also accompanied the Slade Sisters as they sang "Amazing Grace" and "The Old Rugged Cross." The Slade Sisters led the congregation in singing "God Bless America." At the conclusion of the service "Anchors Aweigh" was played as a processional.
Serving as pallbearers were Mr. Wright's sons: Marvin (Buddy) Wright, Phillip Wright, Richard Wright, Joe Joe Wright and Mr. Wright's son-in-law, Jimmy Lewis and a grandson, Derek Wright.
The Rev. Phillip Wright, Mr. Wright's son, and Rev. Lawton Sammons conducted the graveside service at the Dorough cemetery. U.S. Naval Military honors were provided by: PN3Sexson, PN3 Spencer, AZAN Craig, ITSN Lewis, SK2 Rogers, SK2 Waihumbu, SK2 Taylor and HML Walker. The American Flag was presented to the family by HMCS John Paschall.

M.C. Mickle
M.C. Mickle, 92, passed away on March 21, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 24, 2003, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Joe Frazier officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery in Nashville. Family and friends served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Mickle of Ashland City; son, Randel (Helen) Mickle of Ashland City; daughter, Reba (John) Wittenmeier of Nashville, and Alice (Jim) Hambrick of Murfreesboro; brother, Gilmer Mickle of Clarksville; sister, Enolia Carrigan of Donelson and three grandchildren.

Glenda Darlene Parsley
Glenda Darlene Parsley, 45, of Ashland City, died March 20, 2003, at her home.
Funeral services were held graveside at Williams cemetery in Pleasantville, Saturday, March 22, 2003, at 2 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Woodall.
She is survived by her mother, Alma Grace Ayers (Woodall) Wallace of Lyles; daughter, Jennifer Parsley of Nashville; brothers, Randy Woodall of Lyles, Chuck Woodall of Lavergne, Tracey Woodall of Lyles; sisters, Donna Albert of Ashland City, Lisa Woodall of Ashland City and Rosemary Allison of Hendersonville, two grandchildren.
Arrangements were by McDonald Funeral Home, Centerville.
Joel N. Riggins
Joel N. Riggins, 74, of Clarksville, died Friday, March 21, 2003.Mr. Riggins was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Clarksville to the late Wesley and Excell Loggins Riggins. He was a retired production manager for the Trane Co. and was a member of the St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. George Gracey officiating. The interment
followed in the Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by wife, Mary Ann Walker Riggins of Clarksville; brothers and sister-in-law: Wesley Riggins of Huntsville and Howell and Janet Riggins of Greensboro, N.C. and sisters and brother-in-law: Marie Riggins of Clarksville and Susan and Charles King of Decatur; grandson David Suell of Clarksville, three nieces and five nephews.

Rosa Leah Simpson
Rosa Leah Simpson, 76, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville.
Funeral services were held at Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Leon Edwards officiating. Burial was in the Gupton Stewart cemetery in Ashland City.
She was preceded in death by her father; John Cain and mother, Addie Pardue Cain; her husbands, Ewell Hollis and James Simpson, and her daughter, Gwendolyn Hudson.
She is survived by her son, Ewell M. Hollis Jr. of Burns; daughter, Rose Mary Floyd of Ashland City; sisters, Margaret Cushman of Ashland City and Althea Cain of Nashville, 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Marvis Boyd Harris
Marvis Boyd Harris, 62, a dispatcher for American Taxi Service, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage. Mr. Harris, president of the student body, graduated from West End High School in 1959. He attended David Lipscomb University and Austin Peay State University earning his Masters degree. Having many talents, he had been a teacher, preacher, auctioneer and a talk radio host. Mr. Harris was a member of the Church of Christ being especially loved by members of West End Church of Christ and Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ located in Ashland City.
He is survived by his loving brother, Phillip E. Harris of Hermitage; aunts: Clarice Williams, Sue Boyd and Virginia Harris; uncle Ed and Christine Harris Waldrop in addition to numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marvis and Christine (Boyd) Harris.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at 3 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Cliett Goodpasture officiated. Burial was in the Sycamore Chapel cemetery in Ashland City. Close friends and family were pallbearers.
