Bomar - Weathers (2005 January 31)
Amy Elizabeth Weathers, daughter of Barry and Nancy Weathers of Maryville, was united in marriage with Bryan Rohan Bomar, son of Dennis and Kathy Bomar of Oak Hill, Va., Nov. 13 at Myrtle Beach Marriot Resort. Larry Calendine officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Long Bay Symphony of Myrtle Beach.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a couture candlelight gown by Oleg Cassini with hand - embroidered, beaded lace bodice and full organza skirt featuring a chapel - length train. She wore a rum - colored cathedral - length veil with pearls and crystal and carried a bouquet of chocolate roses and calla lilies.
Kellie Wood of Westminster, Md., was maid of honor and Renee Larrimor of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth Hilton, Jessia Hewett, Melissa Duncan and Nicole Hollway, all of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Melanie Cabrera of Maryville and Ashleigh Robertson of Maryville, cousin of the bride. They wore cinnamon - colored, strapless tea - length satin dresses with above waist bands adorned with small rhinestone buckles. They carried bouquets of cinnamon calla lilies.
Molly McCuller of Clemson, S.C., cousin of the bride, kept the bride's book.
Bob Williams of Myrtle Beach, S.C., was best man. Groomsmen were Dan Bomar of Oak Hill, Va., brother of the bridegroom, Rich Hafer, Scott Osborn, Rollin Carver and Jeremy Ward, all of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Jason Weathers of Bristol, brother of the bride.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held at Myrtle Beach Marriot Resort.
After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple are living in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a degree in hotel and resort management. She is employed by Myrtle Beach Marriot Resort as front desk office manager.
The bridegroom attended Northern Virginia Community College. He is employed by Myrtle Beach Marriot Resort as beverage manager.

Johnson - Brewer (2005 August 15)
Brittany Lynn Brewer of Maryville, daughter of Troy and Debbie Brewer of Maryville, was united in marriage with Daniel Ray Johnson, son of Dennis Johnson of New Tazwell and the late Glenda Johnson, July 9 at Chittum Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Dale Mayers officiated.
Monica Arnold of Jefferson City was maid of honor.
Tosha Walker of Maryville, Angela Campbell of Maryville and Crystal Johnson of New Tazwell were bridesmaids.
Amanda Simmons was the flower girl and Austin Simmons was the ring bearer.
Brandon Goins of New Tazwell, Jeremy Brewer of Maryville and Chad Brewer of Maryville were groomsmen.
A reception hosted by the couple's parents was held at Chittum Missionary Baptist Church.
The couple took a wedding trip to Gatlinburg.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of William Blount High School and will attend Pellissippi State Technical Community College. She is employed at the University of Tennessee in the medical records department.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Claiborne County High School. He is employed at Denso by Staffing Solutions.

Blakenship - Gaughf (2005 August 22)
Britney Michele Gaughf, of Friendsville, daughter of Glen and Karen Gaughf of Friendsville, was united in marriage with Matthew Glenn Blakenship of Friendsville, son of Glenn and Linda Blakenship of Friendsville, May 21 at Ridge Valley Farm. The Rev. Johnny Sweet officiated.
Devon Gaughf of Friendsville was maid of honor.
Kristen Aistrop of Maryville, Katie Irwin of Friendsville, Amy Blakenship of Friendsville, Brittnie Stooksbury of Alcoa and Ashley Sims of Maryville were bridesmaids.
Leah Blakenship was the flower girl and Daniel Blakenship kept the bride's book.
Chris Jenkins of Maryville, Rob Blakenship of Louisville, Trey Ratledge of Maryville, Steve Whitman of Huntsville, Ala., and Kenneth Blakenship of Spokane, Wash. were groomsmen.
A reception was given by the bride's parents at Ridge Valley Farm.
After a wedding trip to Cozymel, Mexico and Grand Cayman, the couple are living in Greenback.
The bride is a student at the University of Tennessee and is employed at Blount Memorial Hospital.

Sara Trombley of Maryville, Emily Sweetland of Maryville, Courtney Bryan of Knoxville, LeighAnn Bonesteel of Clinton and Kayce Scott of Oak Ridge were bridesmaids.
Kate Shadwell was the flower girl and Eli French was the ring bearer. Callie Rowe kept the bride's book.
Jack Dennis of Seymour was best man.
Jarrett Bonesteel of Clinton, David Sweetland of Maryville, Mikey Richman of Knoxville, Joey Andrews of Columbia, S.C., and Jamie Martin of Louisville were groomsmen.
A reception was given by the bride's mother at Westminister Hall.
After a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple are living in Fountain City.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Maryville High School and a 2004 graduate of Maryville College. She earned a degree in child development with teacher licensure. She is employed by the Knox County School system as a third - grade teacher at Shannondale Elementary School.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Central High School and a 2004 graduate of Maryville College with a degree in physical education. He is employed by the Knox County School system at Central High School.
