Robert Bertel Jones, born June 3, 1928 went to be with the lord Tuesday March 1, 2005 surrounded by family.
He is survived by: his Wife of 54 years; Betty Jean, Daughters; Beryl and husband Rick Klipp, and Janica and husband Bill Krog, Grandchildren; Adam and Jared Klipp, and Sarah and Cameron Krog, Sisters: Verna Smith and Annie Jo Saucier, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Mc Comb, Mississippi, he served 27 years in the U.S. Air Force in Management Engineering. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters for plans implemented during his tour of duty.
Bertel was neighborhood commissioner for the Boy Scouts while on active duty at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio and Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska from 1957 to the mid 1960’s. After his retirement from the USAF on November 1, 1976, Bertel pursued a second career in home remodeling. His knowledge and expertise in home repairs, and his friendship were sought out by friends, family and neighbors. Bertel’s joy in life was to be with and help his family and friends.

Died Feb. 26, 2005 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

June Lee Ball joyfully and peacefully entered into the presence of God on Saturday, February 26, 2005
She was born on November 20, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas and has been a lifetime resident of San Antonio. Her parents were George and Hazel Lee who preceded her in death and welcomed her home when she went to be with the Lord.
She was very active in her church and her church family was precious to her throughout her entire life. First Assembly of God was her home church for 65 years. The First Assembly family has been a constant source of prayer, encouragement, support and love throughout her illness. It was at this church that she met the love of her life, Lloyd Ball, who would soon become her husband.
They were married on February 9, 1945. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary just prior to her Homegoing. Many family members and friends attended a reception for them at their home at Sterling House Assisted Living Center and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with them. Lloyd and June were a true example of love and devotion. Everyone who knows them has been blessed by their genuine love for each other and also by their love for the Lord. They served God throughout their courtship and marriage with a depth and excitement that has touched many lives.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lloyd Calvin Ball, her son and daughter, Charlie and Debi Mogab of Houston, Texas, Her granddaughter, Beth Yarbrough and Beth’s son, Payne both of San Antonio.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nix, Dustin Nix, Charlie Pinkston, Denny Beierle, Bill Manes and Perry Holder. Honorary pallbearers will be Rhollie Nix and Luther Harris.

William F. McCrystal, Jr.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts on Feb. 18, 1924
Died Oct. 15, 2002 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

Major William F. McCrystal, Jr., USAF (Ret.) was born in Medford, Massachusetts, on February 18, 1924, and died in San Antonio, on October 15, 2002, after a long, agonizing illness. He bore his affliction with great courage, patience and grace.
He was a highly decorated fighter pilot, the captain of the high-school track team, competing in short and long races, pole vaulting, and high jumping. Well into his old age, he still ran in the Boston Marathon.
He was a gifted musician, highly extroverted, sang, and played numerous instruments, and as a teenager, had his own band. He was an English major and Russian minor in college.
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Captain Mary Z. McCrystal (1960) and his long time love, Irene (Cha Cha) Banas (1998); his parents, Colonel and Mrs. William F. McCrystal, Sr.; and his sister, Shirley McCrystal Walsh.
Survivors include his sister, Dr. Irene McCrystal of Mico, TX, who relished his company; his best friend, Gerry Szczebak of Chicopee, Massachusetts; several cousins, one nephew and one grandnephew.
Au revoir, charming Billy, till we meet again.

Mark Harold Karnuth
Born in Naperville, Illinois on Nov. 16, 1966
Died Mar. 11, 2005 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

Mark Harold Karnuth of San Antonio, TX, age 38 went to be with the Lord Friday, March 11, 2005. He was born in Naperville, IL on December 16, 1966 and he grew-up in Warrenville, IL. He attended the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Edith Johnson and Harold and Marie Karnuth. Mark is survived by his daughter, Isabel K. Karnuth; parents, Harold and Marilyn Karnuth; sister, Debra Hegstrom and husband John; nieces, Laura and Sarah Hegstrom and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

James Mattison Stout
Born in Charleston, West Virginia on Mar. 9, 1919
Died Mar. 13, 2005 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

Major James Mattison Stout, USAF (Ret), born on March 9, 1919, in Charleston, West Virginia, passed away after a short stay at Brighton Gardens, 855 E. Basse Rd. at the age of 86 on March 13, 2005.
James is survived by his sister, Mary Lee Stout.
James obtained an L.L.B. degree from Baylor University in Waco, TX.
As a World War II veteran, he served in Turkey, the South Pacific, and various bases in the United States and throughout Texas until his retirement as a Staff Judge Advocate at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas.
He was a member of the Military Order of World Wars, the American Legion, Post 10. He also practiced law in San Antonio and was a Master Mason for over 50 years at Patterson Lodge No. 1177 in San Antonio.
As a member of Christ Lutheran Church, James was a volunteer night monitor at the SAMM Shelter for several years.
He also volunteered his services for various labor duties at Christ Lutheran and served on the Search Committee.

Richard Stephen Catanzaro
Born in North Arlington, New Jersey on Sep. 26, 1954
Died Mar. 20, 2004 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

Richard Stephen Catanzaro passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the age of 49.
He was born in North Arlington, New Jersey and raised in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Nine years ago he moved to San Antonio, Texas when he was recruited by H.E. Butt Grocery Company where he held the title Director of Seafood, Deli & Food Service Product Development, Procurement and Merchandising.
Rich headed up the Seafood department for H-E-B for nine years in which time he increased sales three times over.
He was an innovator in marketing seafood within the grocery store format and was responsible for numerous products that have become staples at the H-E-B chain.
Rich was an important part of the following organizations: National Fisheries Institute, Special Olympics (on behalf of H-E-B Seafood); he was a speaker for such events as the Texas A&M; Shrimp Summit, International Ground Fish Conference in Europe (Barcelona, Spain), National Shrimp Processors, International Shrimp Processors, testified before the International Trade Commission; he was a major supporter and promoter of the Gladys Porter Zoo, the Blessing of the Fleet, the Shrimporee, the Releasing of Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles; and was a major contributor to such publications as "Seafood for Dummies" and "H-E-B's The Cooking Connection's Seafood Recipe Collection" as well as being involved with countless organizations worldwide throughout his 30 year career in the seafood industry.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Catanzaro; his daughter, Nina Catanzaro; and his son, Zachary Catanzaro. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Catanzaro; his sisters, Connie Ewing and Nancy Walter; and his brother, Joseph Catanzaro.
Rich was well-respected and loved by everyone who knew him, and touched the lives of even those who didn't.
Pallbearers will be Zac Catanzaro, Craig Freels, Steve Harper, Geoff Stein, Dave Howitt, Bill Bonzheim, Bob Meyer, Bob Irons and Joe Catanzaro.

She was born April 1, 1963 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Bullara; children, Bethany, Kourtney, Nolan and Peter; mother, Annie Nelson Hensley of Ft. Worth; step-father, J.W. Hensley of Ft. Worth; father, Billy Joe Pribble of Crowley; brother, Billy Pribble and wife, Peggy of Whitney; sister, Rhonda Jacobs and husband, R.J. of Burleson; parents-in-law, Peter and Josephine Bullara of Round Rock; sister-in-law, Valerie Kowert of Ft. Worth; brother and sister-in-law, Kim and Marisa Shirk of Rowlette; Dino Bullara of Round Rock and Peter Bullara of Del Rio, Robert and Christalyn Bullara of Round Rock; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda Faye Levy

Linda Faye Levy, loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother, died Sunday, May 9, 2004 after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Erna, and father, Egon Stern.
Linda is survived by her husband, Allan Levy; her son, Michael Kand; second mother, Adel Weisz Stern; sisters, Barbara Zack (Mel), Judy Stern; and brothers, Bill (Susie), Irving (Nancy), Steve Kent (Sherrie), and Steve Jeff (Florencia). Other survivors are stepsons, Adam and Michael Levy and family; dear Aunt Irmi Dvoretzky (Louis); and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Linda had a more than 30-year career as a Trust Officer at Bank of America and its predecessor companies. Her initiative and conscientious nature will be sorely missed by her co-workers and by her customers.
Memorial gifts in Linda’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to a worthy charity of choice.
