Robert S. Lambert Jr.
FORT WORTH -- Robert S. Lambert Jr., 75, a retired manufacturing manager, died Monday, June 23, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Memorial service: a memorial service honoring Mr. Lambert was held at Hunter Plaza on June 25. An additional homage is planned during an annual family reunion in North Carolina this summer. In 1989, Mr. Lambert made arrangements with the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (then the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine) to donate his remains for the advancement of medical science.

A longtime Fort Worth resident, Mr. Lambert had resided for the past nine years at Hunter Plaza and will be missed by its residents.

Survivors: Sons, Michael Lambert of Fort Worth and Robert Lambert of Houston; daughter, Penny Potts of Irving; sister, Sylvia Schwab of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Dr. Richard T. Lambert of St. Simons Island, Ga.; and devoted friend, Evelyn Tanner of Springtown.

Maude Lewis
FORT WORTH -- Maude Lewis, 105, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at a local hospital.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Samuel Baptist Church. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: noon to 9 p.m. Friday. Wake: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Home.

Maude Lewis was born May 2, 1892, in Limestone County. She was a longtime member of Love Chapel Church of God in Christ. She was very faithful at Samuel Baptist Church under the Rev. J.L. Talton during her later years.

Survivors: Sons, Frankie D. Lewis, Eugene Lewis and Ernest Lewis, all of Fort Worth; daughter, Lou Willie Lewis of Fort Worth; brother, Buster Washington of Phoenix, Ariz.; 31 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

FORT WORTH -- John Anthony Loza, 13, a student, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, in Fort Worth.

John Anthony Loza was born March 7, 1984, in Fort Worth.

Thelma A. Maples
KENNEDALE -- Thelma A. Maples, 89, a retired LVN, died Thursday, July 17, 1997, in Kennedale.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park.

Memorials: Rush Creek Christian Church or Arlington Night Shelter.

Thelma A. Maples was born July 9, 1908, in Strathroy, Ontario, Canada.

She was a member of Rush Creek Christian Church in Arlington.

Survivors: Sons, Raymond Clark of Arlington and David Clark of Irving; brother, Max Down of Fort Myers, Fla.; sisters, Lois Palmer of Detroit and Joyce Bishop of DeSoto; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Sandra B. McIntosh
FORT WORTH -- Sandra B. McIntosh, 58, a homemaker, died Thursday, July 17, 1997, at her home.

Memorial service: 10 a.m. Aug. 8, 1997, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial: later in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Memorials: Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Society or Westminster Presbyterian Church, in lieu of flowers.

Sandra B. McIntosh was born Dec. 10, 1938, to the late Ralph H. and Loretta N. Blodgett in Champaign, Ill. She moved with her family to Gainesville, Fla., in 1950, where she graduated from Gainesville High School and attended the University of Florida. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and Phi Beta Kappa, graduating cum laude in 1961.

Following graduation, she married Stuart A. McIntosh. From 1963 to 1968, they lived in Richardson, Texas. Her husband's employment took them to Fort Wayne, Ind.; St. Louis, Mo.; and St. Petersburg, Fla., before bringing them to Fort Worth, Texas. Sandy was actively involved in community and church affairs in each location, most recently serving as moderator for Presbyterian Women at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Fort Worth. She dedicated many volunteer hours to the Girl Scouts, helping in school libraries and teaching Bible school while her children were growing up. She regularly delivered meals for Meals on Wheels for many years.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lori Scheaffner.

Survivors: Her husband, Stuart Alan McIntosh of Fort Worth; sons, Baird McIntosh of Santa Clara, Calif., and Brian McIntosh of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and Ray Schneider Jr. of Jefferson City, Mo., and Karen and Jeff Craven of Rowlett, Texas; and grandsons, Kyle and Josh Craven and Ray Schneider III.

S. Melton Mobley
GRAND PRAIRIE -- S. Melton Mobley, 64, who had worked since 1994 with the Dallas Auto Auction, died Monday, July 14, 1997, at home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Bean- Massey-Burge Funeral Home. Burial: Southland Cemetery in Grand Prairie.

S. Melton Mobley was born in Dallas. He was a member of the Vintage Radio & Phonograph Society and enjoyed restoring old radios. He worked at American Body & Equipment Co. as chief engineer, at Duncan Equipment Inc. and Master-Pak Systems Inc. as design engineer, at Vince Hagan Co. as contract draftsman, at G&H Manufacturing as a draftsman, and at Personnel Connection since 1994 with the Dallas Auto Auction.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Faye Loller Freestone Mobley, in 1987, and by his parents, S.T. and Clara Mobley, and a sister, Loretta Pack.

Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Charles Melton and Terri Mobley; sister and brother-in-law, Jeannine and Wm. P. Irwin; aunts, Vienna Turck and Lois Mobley; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

BURLESON -- Kate Montgomery, 88, a hair dresser, died Monday, July 14, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Graveside service: 11:30 a.m. Friday in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Kate Montgomery was born April 2, 1909, in Dennis.

Survivors: Son, Robert L. Montgomery and his wife, Beverly, of Burleson; niece, Dorothy McLean; and longtime friend, Marcel Glaze of Mansfield.

Warren C. Moore
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Warren C. Moore, 87, a retired barber, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, in North Richland Hills.

Funeral: noon Friday at Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Memorials: Acton Baptist Church Building Fund, 3500 Fall Creek Highway, Granbury, Texas 76049.

Warren C. Moore was born May 5, 1910, in McNeil and had resided in the Fort Worth area for 55 years. Mr. Moore owned Moore's Barber Shop in south Fort Worth for 25 years. He was a member of Acton Baptist Church and Hemphill Heights Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Essie J. Moore, on Feb. 16, 1997, and his son, Larry M. Moore, in December 1996.

Survivors: Daughters, Dorothy J. Harris and her husband, Derold, of Fort Worth and Norma J. Overdorf and her husband, Joe, of North Richland Hills; granddaughters, Valerie Harris Fitzgerald of Corpus Christi and Selena Harris Priddy and her husband, Walter, of Longview; great-grandson, Blair Fitzgerald of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Marie Guy, Edith Segler and Evalena Coffey, all of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wants to offer their most sincere thanks to their cousins, the children of Berry and Jessie Moore. We will always remember their kindness and love and caring during this difficult time.

FORT WORTH -- Ethel Mae Sterling, 67, a retired private domestic worker, died Monday, July 14, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Billy Tate Taylor
ARLINGTON -- Billy Tate Taylor, 69, a retired computer specialist who had been with General Motors for 30 years, died Thursday, July 17, 1997, in Arlington.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Billy Taylor was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Quinlan, Texas. He enlisted with his brother in the U.S. Army Air Forces on Oct. 1, 1945. He attended meteorologist school and became a weather observer as a registered meteorologist. In his 20s he formed a country-western band known as `Billy Tate Taylor and the Western Swing Boys.' He loved fishing, camping and boating. He was also president of the Arlington Citizen Band Radio Club. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors: Son, Michael W. Taylor of Bonham; daughters, Rebecca L. Kelly of Arlington and Patricia L. Henderson of Green Forest, Ark.; brother, Troy W. Taylor of Dallas; and four grandchildren.

RIVER OAKS -- Beatrice C. "Bea" Taylor, 87, a homemaker, died Thursday, July 17, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Beatrice C. Taylor was born Oct. 1, 1909, in Walnut Springs. She had resided in Fort Worth since 1929. She was a member of Rockwood Park Assembly of God Church.

Survivors: Her husband of 47 years, Charles O. Taylor of River Oaks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia L. White
QUITMAN -- Patricia L. White, 58, a credit union assistant, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at home after a long illness with cancer.

Graveside service: 4 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Patricia White was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Hamilton, Texas. Patty will long be remembered and loved by her family, church family, friends and co-workers for her benevelance and joy of helping others. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Quitman. She was a member of the Garden Club in Quitman. She worked for TP&L, Santa Fe, Arlington Federal and Tyler Pipe credit unions.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ottis Dansbee, in August 1994.

Survivors: Husband, C.D. White of Quitman; sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Cathy Caraway of Arlington and Raymond Caraway of Dallas; mother, Marylene Dansbee of Hico; brothers, Don Dansbee of Lubbock and Larry Dansbee of Hurst; sister, Connie Sisk of Hico; and grandsons, Chris and Cliff Caraway of Arlington.
