“She had a way about Her”. On June 4, 2003, June M. Bean left her loving family and friends to dwell in the kingdom of God. She was born on August 29, 1937.
Though small in stature, June possessed strength and courage rarely seen. She was fiercely protective of her family, but loving and gracious to her friends.
During her final illness, she endured tremendous pain, but never lost her healing smile.
Junie was preceded in death by sons, Perry T. Bean, Jr. and Joe Brent Bean.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 48 years, Perry T. Bean, Sr; sons, Rhett L. Bean and wife Deborah of Beaumont, TX, Scott N. Bean and wife Becky of San Antonio, TX; mother, Mary Flower; brother, Brent and wife Martha; sister, Kristie and husband Thomas; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Clothille J. Harris
Born in De Leon TX. on Dec. 26, 1921
Died Jun. 6, 2003 and resided in Universal City, TX.

Clothille J. Harris was born on December 26, 1921 in DeLeon, Texas to Jack and Dorothy Jenkins and passed away on June 6, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Colonel Jack S. Jenkins.
Clothille (C.J.) grew up in west Texas, went to school in Levelland and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She earned her bachelors degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.
She married Shelby Jack Harris on March 17, 1943, and together they shared a thirty-year Air Force career, traveling extensively and living throughout the United States.
She was an accomplished debater and public speaker. She loved the outdoors; working successfully to preserve the natural environment in her community. She enjoyed travel; visiting Asia, Hawaii, Europe and the Caribbean.
An effective educator, she worked in many roles in the education field including library science at Samuel Clemens High School, where she was a friend and mentor to many students.
After surviving a stroke at age 66, her courage and perseverance were a comfort and inspiration to those around her. She was active in the American Heart Association, counseled others and participated in a video production about heart disease. She was honored by Rotary International with the Paul Harris Award for community service.
She is survived by her husband, Colonel Shelby Jack Harris (Ret.) of Universal City, Texas; and her four daughters and their families, Dr. Jan Ford Mustin and husband, Dr. Al Mustin of Austin, Texas; Penny Hicks and her husband, Dr. Phil Hicks, and their son, Michael Hicks of San Rafael, California; Jacqueline Sanner of Austin, Texas, and Dr. Susan Buckner and her husband, Reverend Mark Buckner and their children, Dorothy, Jon Mark, Joshua and Grace of Indonesia.
Clothille touched the lives of others with kindness, respect and generosity. A woman of exceptional beauty and vitality, she is remembered with great love for her gentle spirit, profound faith and her sincere interest in the well being of others.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 8415 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78229.

Jerita Foley Buschman
Born in Fort Worth, Texas on Mar. 19, 1926

Jerita Foley Buschman passed away peacefully June 7, 2003 at the age of 77. Her family comforted and surrounded her with love.
Mrs. Buschman was born on March 19, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Northside High School in Fort Worth, Whitworth College in Brookhaven, Mississippi, and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
She gained an interest in fine arts at a young age and continued to support drama and theater as a founding member of the renovation of the Majestic Theater, the Symphony and Museum Boards, and a Founder of the Children’s Museum of San Antonio. She has recently been honored by TCU as the 2002 Alumni of the Year, as well as, having the new University Theater named in her honor, the Jerita Foley Buschman Theater. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Charity Ball Association, Children’s Shelter Board, Las Casas, Los Compadres, Battle of Flowers Association, Texas and Southwest Cattle Raisers Association and the San Antonio Public Library Foundation.
She is survived by her son, Guy Robert Buschman; daughters, Gretchen Buschman Spalten and Kristen Buschman Hicks; daughter-in-law, Cindy Anne Buschman; sons-in-law, Thomas A. Spalten and Clay B. Hicks; and grandchildren, Lesley Anne Buschman, Amanda Anne Buschman, Analise Spalten, Alan Spalten, Jonathan Spalten, Clayton Robert Hicks and Audrey Hicks. She joins her parents Guy B. and Oma Klebold Foley, who preceded her in death.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the SICU and PCU doctors and nurses at Northeast Baptist Hospital.
Pallbearers include Dr. Harold Brannan, Johnnie Eng, Clayton Hicks, Ronnie Kay, Alan Spalten and Jonathan Spalten. Honorary Pallbearers include Bob Barnes, Roy Campbell III, Bud Christy, Jack Keene, Jack Lewis, Balous Miller, Skip Schimpff, Steve Stone, John White, Thad W. Ziegler, Jim West and Steve Aycock.

Suse Morse
Born in St. Goarshausen, Germany on Aug. 5, 1942
Died Jun. 8, 2003 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

Suse Morse, a resident of San Antonio, TX and Bad Schwalbach, Germany, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2003.
Suse was very active in the San Antonio community including involvement in the Randolph Air Force Base Officers Wives Club, the San Antonio Symphony League, and the Beethoven German club.
Suse was an award-winning designer who studied fashion design at Incarnate Word University.
A talented woman who enjoyed painting, singing, gardening and traveling, Suse will be most remembered for her unique ability of bringing people together.
She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by family and many terrific friends.
Suse is survived by her fiancé, Karl-Heinz Bremser; daughter, Lia Connors and husband, Skip; son, Eric Morse and his wife Lisa.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society by calling 614-4211 or 800-ACS-2345.

James Lewis Pipkin, III
Born in San Antonio, Texas on Nov. 14, 1952

James Lewis Pipkin III passed away June 4, 2003 at the age of 50 following a brief illness.
Jim attended the Lowell Whiteman School in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and graduated from Trinity University. He produced and directed KSAT’s PM Magazine before joining Grubb & Ellis, where he was an industrial specialist for more than 15 years. He was a strong supporter of wildlife management and conservation programs, including activities for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and served numerous board positions, including president and treasurer, for Medina Ranch Incorporated. Jim loved nature and sought adventure. His friendliness and warmth touched many people from all walks of life who now mourn his loss.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Elizabeth and their daughter Lauren Pipkin. He is also survived by his father, Dr. James Pipkin, Jr. and his wife Claire Regnier, his mother, Leslie McLeod, mother-in-law Kathleen Griffin and Dr. Robert Griffin, aunt and uncle, Reverend and Mrs. David Douglas, Sharron & Ray Lafreniere, Patricia and Vernon Brady and Camille Tyler along with numerous cousins and countless friends. He joins his paternal grandparents Dr. and Mrs. James Lewis Pipkin and his father-in-law Dr. John Webb.

John L. Moore, age 78, of San Antonio, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2003.
He served his country in the U S Army during World War II. After the war, he went back to school and played football for the University of Oklahoma.
He was employed as a geologist with Schlumberger Oil Company, and later in sales for Underwood, Xerox, Swift, and Texas Neon. He was the manager of the Mini-Monorail during Hemisfair 68.
But of all, his family was the most important to him.
John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeane G. Moore; their children, Becky McClintic and her husband Steve, Scott Moore and Jennifer Mertins and her husband, Harry, all of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Brian McClintic and his wife, Shawna, Greg and Shannon McClintic, Andrea, Kristina, and Jonathan Mertins; sister, Mackie Dickinson of Norman, OK.

George Monte Roesler
Born in San Antonio, Texas on Oct. 5, 1925
Died May. 16, 2003 and resided in San Antonio, TX.

George M. Roesler, Jr. born October 5, 1925, entered rest May 16, 2003. Member of Northside Church of Christ. Served U.S. Naval Air Corps as Aviation Cadet during WWII. Graduate of Trinity University, former President of Exchange Club of San Antonio and member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. George is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley, and three sons, George Mark Roesler of San Antonio, William Mike Roesler of New Braunfels, and Jonathon Matt Roesler and his wife, Robin of San Antonio, along with four grandsons, Lucas Brent Roesler, Travis Miles Roesler, Jonathon Benjamin Roesler, and Douglas Clay Roesler, his brother Robert A. Roesler and wife, Carole of Ellenton, Florida along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Della Mae Roesler, and an infant son and daughter. Pallbearers will be: Jim Dye, David Banton, Kenneth Winter, David Runyan, Ben Clements, and Pat Kennell. The honorary Pallbearers will be Stanley Paris, Ben Griffith, Lawrence May, James Lewis, and Dick Porter.
