Services for Herman Olen Cantey, 91, of Bryan are set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
The Rev. Levan Hubbard of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Willowhole Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of the services Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Cantey died Friday in Sherwood Health Care.
He was born in Madison County and as a retired carpenter. He was a member of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie McCormack Cantey.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Cantey of Bryan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tommie and Paul Bright of Highlands, Texas, Nelda and Jack King of Lake City, Fla., and Doris and James Samford of Tenaha, Texas; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Fred Rodriguez of Bryan and Molly and Ernest Bernal of Houston; a brother and sister-in-law, W.T. and Juanita Cantey of Bryan; a sister and brother-in-law, Leta and Bill Horton of North Zulch; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
LaWanda Chambers

Services for LaWanda Chambers, 33, of College Station are set for 11 a.m. Sunday at the G.W. Tabernacle Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Bennett Blake of Christ Holy Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Wheelock Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Miss Chambers died Tuesday in Bryton Inn.
She was a lifelong resident of Bryan.
Survivors include her parents, Mary Pratt of College Station and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Young of Bryan; grandfather, Ara Chambers of Bryan; two sons, Brandon Darnell Chambers and Sirgio Chambers, both of College Station; two daughters, Essence Morris and Breanna Chambers, both of College Station; two step-brothers, Kindall Jones and Kevin Jones, both of Bryan; two sisters, Shonda LaShone Young of Bryan and Katrina Jones of Baytown, Texas; and a step-sister, Camilia Smith of Brenham.
Grace Mullinnix Miller

HEARNE — Services for Grace Mullinnix Miller, 95, of Hearne are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Hearne.
The Rev. Larry Blackmon of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
Mrs. Miller died Friday in the Hearne Health Care Center.
She was born in Cameron and had lived in Hearne all of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hearne and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, C.E. Mullinnix and Conrad Miller; and four sons.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Betty Mullinnix Southard of Tomball, Texas, and Carolyn and Curtis Hendry of Hearne; a sister, Vaudine King Bradbury of Baytown, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Wesley Hardin Mueller

CALDWELL — Services for Wesley Hardin Mueller, 93, of Dime Box are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dime Box.
The Rev. D.A. Robbins will officiate. Burial will be in Millheim Cemetery near Bellville.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Mr. Mueller died Saturday in Oaklawn Manor Nursing Home in Giddings, Texas.
He was born in Millheim, Texas, and had lived in Dime Box since 1962. He formerly lived near Patterson, Texas, where he was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lina Schulens Mueller; and a daughter, Grace Campbell.
Survivors include two daughters and three sons-in-law, Blanche Lucille and Gilber W. Ehlert of McKinney, Texas, Doris Jean and George Allen Dodd of Dime Box and David H. Campbell of Dallas; a sister, Betty Bernice Peters of Bellville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Joseph Edward Sheible
Sept. 2, 1915 — June 30, 2000
HEARNE — Services for Joseph Edward Sheible, 84, of Houston are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of the services Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sheible died Friday in Houston.
He was born in Hillsboro, Mo., and had lived in Houston for many years. He was a Methodist and was a retired truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army during World
War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Sheible.
Survivors include a son, Frank Sheible of Houston; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Wesley Earl Summers

ROCKDALE — Graveside services for Wesley Earl Summers, 92, of Cameron are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Sandy Creek Cemetery near Rockdale.
Bro. O.E. Davidson of the Milam County Church of Christ will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mr. Summers died Saturday in Central Texas Hospital in Cameron.
He was born in the Sandy Creek Community and had lived in Cameron for two years. He formerly lived in Hempstead and Houston. He worked as a firefighter with the Houston Fire Department and later as a bailiff with the Houston court system after retiring from the fire department. He served under Gen. George Patton during World War II and was a mason, a gunsmith and was a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Johnson Summers.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert L. Summers of Sweetwater, Texas, and James Summers of Rockdale; a sister, Laura Louise Story of Virginia Beach, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marjorie Swinner

MADISONVILLE — Services for Marjorie Swinner, 72, of Madisonville are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Madisonville Funeral Home.
Burial will be in High Prairie Cemetery in Madison County.

Mrs. Swinner died Saturday.
She was born in Bridgewater, Ala., and had lived in Madisonville for five years. She was a Presbyterian and formerly lived in Navasota.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Swinner of Madisonville; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bobby Swinner, Jimmy and Mary Swinner, and Sue Swinner, all of Madisonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Georgia Bell Bond Burkhalter, 79, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burkhalter died Saturday at her home.
She was a member of the Central Church of Christ and had lived in Bryan since 1939. She was retired from Texas A&M University after 20 years of service and she later worked for Hancock Clothing in College Station.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Monroe Bond and Louis Burkhalter.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Tom Bond, Searcy Bond and Steven and Mary Beth Burkhalter, all of Bryan; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ann and Charles Nichols of Bryan, Deedie and Bobby Slaydon of Deridder, La., and Carolyn Burkhalter of Dallas; two daughters-in-law, Marianna Bond and Paula Burkhalter, both of Bryan; a brother, Collins Moore of Lancaster, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cangemi died Saturday in Kerrville.
He was born in Brazos County and was disabled. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hearne.
Survivors include a brother, Sam Cangemi of Hearne; two sisters, Josephine Arcotta of Branchville, Texas, and Dora Fazzino of Steele Store, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Nora Cangemi of Hearne.
Granvel Carter

Mr. Carter died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Lee County and had lived in Thorndale since 1984 and was a lifelong resident of the Thorndale area. He was a painter and a Baptist.
Survivors include two brothers, Steve “Sonny” Rogers of Taylor, Texas, and Ernest “T-Bone” Carter of Georgetown, Texas; and a sister, Billie Parker of San Gabriel, Texas.
Verna E. Sausley

Services for Verna E. Sausley, 89, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Steve Kana of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rest-Ever Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home by the Rev. Msgr. John Malinowski.
Mrs. Sausley died Saturday in Bryton Inn Health Center.
She was born in Bremond and had lived in Bryan for 69 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Altar Society. She was retired as co-owner and operator of the Bryan Outboard Motor Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Sausley.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Brandenberger of Bryan; a brother, Joe Duhr of Fort Worth; a sister, Louise Kwasnica of Waco; two sisters-in-law, Mary Elbrich of Arlington, Texas, and Merle Sausley of Houston; two grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
