Coach Raymond Emil Dorr

A memorial service for Raymond Emil Dorr, 59, of College Station is set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in College Station. The Rev. Dean Wilhelm will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
Mr. Dorr died Thursday at his home in College Station.
He was born in Salem, Ohio and was the quarterbacks coach at Texas A&M University. He received a bachelor of science degree at West Virginia Wesleyan and a master’s degree at Akron University.
Mr. Dorr was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Dorr of College Station; two sons, Stephen Dorr of Dallas and David Dorr of Morehead, Ky., and a sister, Lynn Clayton of Sebring, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Memorial Fund 12th Man Scholarship Foundation or to Hospice of Brazos Valley have been requested.
Marie Gloria Heritage

Graveside services for Marie Gloria Heritage, 76, of Minden, La., are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mrs. Heritage died Wednesday in Town & Country Nursing Home in Minden.
She was born in New York City and was a former resident of College Station. She was a former member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in College Station.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Elizabeth Heritage of Castle Rock, Colo.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia and Gene Dunn of Albuquerque, N.M., and Donna and Kirk Burns of Claremore, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
Warance William Malkey
Jan. 14, 1927 — March 1, 2001
NORMANGEE — Services for Warance William Malkey, 74, of Normangee are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Centerville.
The Rev. Russell Etzel of Our Savior Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Normangee.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee.
Mr. Malkey died Thursday in Bryan.
He was born in Somerville and lived in Normangee for 21 years. He was a retired school administrator and rancher and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kitty Malkey of Normangee; a son and daughter-in-law, Warance “Bubba” and Carol Malkey of Flynn; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kay Spencer of Spring and Paul and Raymond Govea of Austin; a sister, Valaria Bradley of Mineral Wells; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hopewell Cemetery, Our Savior Lutheran Church or to a charity of the giver’s choice.
Beatrice Virginia Smith
April 1, 1913 — March 1, 2001
TEXARKANA, Texas — Services for Beatrice Virginia Smith, 87, of Texarkana, Ark., are set for 4 p.m. Saturday at East Memorial Chapel in Texarkana.
John H. Cannon Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Rondo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at East Funeral Home in Texarkana.
Mrs. Smith died Thursday in a Texarkana nursing home.
She was born in McLennan County, Texas, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ. She was a member of the Women’s Social Study Club of College Station and the Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Smith, and a son, John Cullen Smith.
Survivors include three sons, Robert F. Smith III of Victoria and Phil N. Smith and William David Smith, both of Texarkana; a daughter, Luanne Dean of Texarkana; a brother, Herbert Johnson of Greenville, Ala.; a sister, Ruth Morris of Ennis, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Walnut Street Church of Christ Building Fund.
Clyde Smith
Aug. 8, 1920 — March 2, 2001
NAVASOTA — Services for Clyde Smith, 80, of Washington are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Friedens Church of Washington, UCC in Washington.
The Rev. Ron Trimmer of the Friedens Church of Washington, UCC will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery .
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota and from 12:30 p.m. to the time of the services Sunday at the church.
Mr. Smith died Friday in Navasota.
He was born in Crawford, Texas, and was a member of Friedens Church of Washington, UCC. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He established the Guarantee Paint & Body Shop in 1971 and was co-owner. He organized the Washington Fire Department and was a volunteer firefighter and served as fire chief for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Johanna Smith.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kitty and Clyde Miller of Washington and Peggy and Al Miller of Montgomery, Texas; a sister, Dorothy O’Bier of Waco; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
Memorials may be made to Friedens Church of Washington, UCC or the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
Richard Carrillo Sr.

Services for Richard Carrillo Sr., 54, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Steve Kana of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Carrillo died Friday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He worked for the Mobil Gas Stations in the Bryan-College Station area for over 20 years. He was also employed with Drill Tube Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Carrillo of Bryan; his children, Alex and Gina Carrillo, Betty and Richard Perez and Richard Jr. and Hortencia Carrillo, all of Bryan; stepchildren, Michelle and Robert Culp of Willis, Donna Batiste and Monica Ybanez and Angel Serna Sr., all of Bryan, and Pete A. and Jeannie Ybanez of San Antonio; a sister, Margaret Bosquez of Bryan; a brother, George Carrillo of Bryan; two half-brothers, Felix Carrillo of San Antonio and Ray Carrillo of Tyler, Texas; a half-sister, Gloria Carrillo of Bryan, and 14 grandchildren.
Angel Contreras

Services for Angel Contreras, 19, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Victor Robles of Santa Teresa Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Angel died Saturday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church. He was a student at Bryan High School.
Survivors include his parents, Juan M. and Maria “Lucy” Contreras of Bryan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jesus and Cynthia Contreras and Ricky and Crystal Contreras, all of Bryan; and a sister and brother-in-law, Sonia Amador and Lorenzo Rios of Bryan.
Ruth A. Huber

CALDWELL — Services for Ruth A. Huber, 82, of Temple are set for 3 p.m. Monday at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
The Rev. Rick Mitchell will officiate. Private burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to the time of the services Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Huber died Friday in Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
She was born in Fallon, Nev., and was a retired waitress and cashier.
Survivors include two sons, Harry H. Hudson of Temple and Casey A. Ford of Whitney; three daughters, Alice Longan of Houston, Rebecca Hall of Sugar Land and Judith Sanchez of Temple; a brother, Toby Hall of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Georgia Faye Kaseberg

ROCKDALE — Services for Georgia Faye Kaseberg, 75, of Rockdale are set for 11 a.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Rockdale.
The Rev. Charles Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kaseberg died Friday in Cameron.
She was born in Norton, Texas, and lived in Rockdale, Littlefield, Freeport, Baytown, Big Spring, Lafayette, La., Lake Charles, La., and Monroe, La. She retired in 1977 after 34 years as manager with Western Union Telegraph Co. After her retirement, she was manager of Gold Bond Stamp in Rockdale and was secretary of the First Christian Church. She was a member of the First Christian Church, where she was in the Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was also a member of the Hart’n Hands Club.
Survivors include a son, Bert Kaseberg of Round Rock, a granddaughter, a niece and numerous cousins.
Olan Monroe Risinger
May 5, 1928 — March 2, 2001
NORMANGEE — Services for Olan Monroe Risinger, 72, of Normangee are set for 11 a.m. Monday at the Harmony Baptist Church in Normangee.
The Revs. Bud McGee and Chris Osborne will officiate. Burial will be in George Cemetery in Madison County.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee.
Mr. Risinger died Friday in Bryan.
He was born in Dallas and was a lifelong resident of Normangee. He was retired from the Normangee I.S.D. and was one of the founders of the Normangee Service Club. He was a member and deacon at Harmony Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lee Risinger.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Risinger of Normangee; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and David Defenbaugh of Bryan; a daughter-in-law, Sandra and Fernando Orva n años of Victoria; three grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

Linda Juanita Sturgill

BEDIAS — Services for Linda Juanita Sturgill, 53, of Madisonville are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Bedias.

Mrs. Sturgill died Friday.
She was born in Bakersfield, Calif., and was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 84 in Madisonville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Griffith, and a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Griffith.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Marie and Jackie Briggs of Madisonville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dale Sturgill Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, and David and Dora Richason of Enfield, N.H.; a sister, Helen Mora of Madisonville; a brother, Bob Griffith of Texas; five grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew.
