ZAPATA, TX.— Roberto C. Ramirez, 47, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Laredo, TX.
Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his father, Juan Francisco Ramirez.
Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife, Guadalupe M. Ramirez; son, Roberto C. Ramirez Jr.; daughters, Yesenia N. Ramirez and Karina S. Ramirez; mother, Maria Alicia Ramirez; brothers, Juan F. (Maria Elena) Ramirez Jr., and Raul M. (Gisela) Ramirez; sister, Sara R. (Ricardo) Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews, and other family relatives.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999 at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home, 2102 Hwy. 83, Zapata, TX.
Hours for visitiation will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 from 8 to 8:45 a.m.
The funeral procession will depart at 8:45 a.m. for a funeral mass at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Committal services will follow at the Ramireño Cemetery in Ramireño, TX.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home.
Leopoldo Garza
Leopoldo Garza, 57, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999.
Visitation for Mr. Garza was held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999 from 4 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church.
Interment followed to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jose F. Medellin, Francisco Ramos, Reynaldo Garza Salinas, Pedro Garza, Leopoldo Garza III and Ricardo Garza.

Aurelio Campos
Aurelio Campos, 95, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999 at a local hospital.
Mr. Campos was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and had been a resident of Laredo for the past 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Minerva Campos who passed away Feb. 1997, and also by brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Hermila (Juan) Rivera, Adolfo Campos, Pedro (Bertha) Campos, Maria (Mario) Esparza, Sara (Inocencio) Rangel, Irma (Gerardo) Quiroz, and Juan (Cruz) Campos; 35 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; also, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999 from 3 to 9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church.
Interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Consuelo Coss Garcia
Consuelo Coss Garcia, 91, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999 in Laredo.
A rosary was recited Sunday, Dec. 27, 1999 at 6:30 p.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Visitation was from 4 to 9 p.m. at the church.
Services were held Monday, Dec. 27, 1999 at 2 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel with Father Manente of San Francisco Javier Catholic Church officiating.
Interment followed in the Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Miguel Elizondo, Carlos A. Elizondo C., Carlos Lozano, Lauro Lozano C., Guillermo Miller and Salvador Garza.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home, Brad Jackson, Director.
Delia R. Perez
Delia R. Perez, 72, died Monday, Dec. 27, 1999 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Perez is survived by her children, Magda Ramirez, Yolanda Esparza, Rosa Delia Hinojosa, Raymundo Perez, Maria del Refugio Perez, Maria de Lourdes Perez; grandchildren, Jesus and Silvia Soria of Houston; also numerous grandchildren and sons-in-laws.
Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 27, 1999 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Nieto Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999 at 11:45 a.m. to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon.
Interment will follow to the Catholic Cemetery.

SAN ANTONIO — Julian Treviño, 70, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Treviño; children, Marta (Henry) Amezquita, Ruben (Leticia) Treviño, Jorge Treviño, Jackie (Eloy) Williams.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 at 8 p.m. at Southside Funeral Home, in San Antonio, TX. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.

Fortunato T. Blanquez, 65, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999 in San Antonio.
Mr. Blanquez is preceded in death by his father, Librado Blanquez in 1979 and his mother, Paula M. Blanquez in 1997.
Mr. Blanquez spent 40 years with the Webb County Road and Bridge Dept. and approximately 20 years with Walker Security.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Juanita E. Blanquez; children, Mrs. Magdalena (Felipe) Rodriguez, Mrs. Margarita (Luis) Gonzalez, Mrs. Yolanda Washoevick, Fortunato (Carolina) Blanquez, Jesus (Claudia) Blanquez, David (Mary) Blanquez; brother, Jose (Maria) Blanquez; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 at Nieto Dickey and Lopez Funeral Home with visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999 at 8:45 a.m. to San Luis Rey Church.

Elena G. Cisneros
Elena G. Cisneros, 87, passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 1999 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Cisneros was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe J. Cisneros Sr. who passed away in June 1980 and by her parents, Emilio and Elvira Garza.
She is survived by her son, Felipe J. (Tatiana) Cisneros Jr.; daughters, Arabela C. Gay, Elvira A. Garza, Cordelia (Carlos) Orengo; grandchildren, Dennis (Melissa) Cisneros, Adriana G. (Stephen) Lewis, Jessica (Jason) Lewis, Anthony M. (Vanezza) Gay and Carla Orengo; great-grandchildren, Julian A. Gay, Alexandra M. Cisneros and Stephen M. Lewis Jr.; brother, Antonio Garza; sister, Amalia G. Vela; also, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
