Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Monroe, La. She was a former employee of East Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Loy R. Jones of Texarkana; one daughter, Lynn Freeman of Texarkana; one son, Jeffery Case of Texarkana; one brother, William S. James III of Texarkana, Ark.; one granddaughter, Morgan Freeman of Texarkana; one grandson, Chris Freeman of Texarkana; one nephew, Staley N. James; and one special cousin, Mary Collom Fore.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Eula Mae Pratt of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Pratt was born in Bogota, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Hugh Pratt of Texarkana; one daughter, Paulette Vasquez of Texarkana; two brothers, Jesse W. Skaggs and James T. Skaggs of Texarkana; one granddaughter and grandson - in - law, Kelli and Kenny Dillard of Garland, Texas; one great - grandchild, Tyler Claypool of Garland; one special nephew, Randy Smith of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

JIM TIDWELL
Jim Elgie "Pop" Tidwell, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, June 18, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mr. Tidwell was born Dec. 28, 1925, in Maple community. He was a self employed welder, a member of First Baptist Church, Nash, Texas, and Veterans of Foreign Wars and a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Tidwell.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Blythe of Queen City, Texas, and Ann Granberry of Texarkana; two sons, James Tidwell of Brazoria, Texas, and Tommy Tidwell of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Nip Tidwell of Bullard, Texas, Coy Tidwell of Electra, Texas, and Leon Tidwell of Jasper, Texas; two sisters, Janis Wood of Eastland, Texas, and Mary Bell Rivers of Odessa, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 14 great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Douglassville, Texas, under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of George and Ann Granberry, 1102 FM 991, Texarkana, Texas.

Willis Powell, 79, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Billie Mae Crenshaw, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Crenshaw was born March 25, 1926, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a member and Sunday school teacher of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church and a Texas Life member of PTA.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Crenshaw of Texarkana; one son and daughter - in - law, David and Dee Ann Crenshaw of Texarkana; one daughter, Melissa Ferguson of Roanoke, Va.; and four granddaughters, Courtney Crenshaw, Catie Crenshaw and Lynlee Kuznoff of Texarkana and Leanna Ferguson of Roanoke.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Clifford Lee officiating. Private burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas - Robert "T - Bone" Stern, 65, of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday, June 17, 2004, in Mount Pleasant.
Mr. Stern was born July 22, 1938, in Daingerfield, Texas. He was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by two sons, Phillip Searcy and Bruce Everett.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Stern - Carter of Arlington, Texas, and Robin Everett of Dallas; six sons, Kevin Stern, Roy Everett, Thomas Everett, Eric Everett and Cedrick Mitchell of Dallas and Brooks Stewart of Mount Pleasant; his mother, Rena Louise Stern of Mount Pleasant; one brother, Thomas T. Franklin of Daingerfield; one sister, Ethel Stern of Daingerfield; 10 grandchildren; three great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion CME Church, Daingerfield, with Donnie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Whitmore Cemetery under direction of Tumey Mortuary.
The body may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Louis Dean Good, 72, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mr. Good was born March 30, 1932, in New Orleans. He owned 4 States Charter Service and Good Investment Co., was a retired captain for American Airlines, former sales manager for Cessna Aircraft Corp., board member of Wadley Foundation, member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church, Kappa Sigma, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Grey Eagles, Quiet Birdmen, Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council and Texarkana Museums System. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Charles Scott Haley Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Arthadale Hefner Good of Texarkana; two sons, Russell Good and Clay Good of Dallas; one daughter and son - in - law, Arthadale and Scott Haley of Dallas; one sister and brother - in - law, Dorothy and Dr. John S. Griffin of Texarkana; one sister - in - law, Denny Hefner Edwards of Forrest City, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

IDABEL, Okla. - Marie Porton, 73, of Idabel, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Paris, Texas.
Mrs. Porton was born March 24, 1931, in Haworth, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Idabel First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Porton; and one grandson, Larry Matlock.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Porton of Wheeler, Texas, Bill Porton of Broken Bow, Okla., and Tom Porton of Idabel; one daughter, Donna Lowrimore of Idabel; five sisters, Doris Allen of Idabel, Bernard Cluck of Hot Springs, Ark., Mary Martin of Pleasant Hill Community, Okla., Helen Smith of Atlanta, Ga., and Glynda Gray of Idabel; 10 grandchildren; 10 great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Norwood - Coffey - Leonard Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Fox officiating. Burial will be in Denison Cemetery.

Milton Rogers, 67, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Rogers was born Sept. 15, 1936, in Bowie County, Texas. He was retired from Baroid and a member of Community Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Rogers of Texarkana; two sons, Milton J. Rogers and Cekel Rogers of Texarkana; two stepdaughters, Brenda Blackwell and Williean Williams of Texarkana; his mother, Clara Burkins of Texarkana; six brothers, Odis Rogers of Los Angeles, Waverly Burkins, Sidney Burkins, R.L. Burkins and Isom Burkins of Texarkana and Tommie Burkins of Ashville, N.C.; five sisters, Bobbie Starks of Dallas, Lottie Wilson of Grand Prarie, Texas, Earnestine Burkins of Arlington, Texas, and Onetha Ward and Charlotte Miller of Texarkana; 10 grandchildren; three great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

ATLANTA, Texas - Louis E. Lummus, 82, of Atlanta, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, in Texarkana.
Mr. Lummus was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Doddridge, Ark. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and J.E. Manning American Legion Post 258 and a World War II Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Lummus; and one son, Steven Lummus.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons - in - law, Barbara and Wayne Duke of Atlanta, Susan Cannady of Fort Worth, Texas, and Judie and Jeff Summers of Danville, Ill.; one daughter - in - law, Vicky Lummus of Atlanta; one brother - in - law and sister - in - law, Bill and Hazel Thompson of Texarkana; one cousin and cousin - in - law, W.J. and Ann Fowler of Texarkana; seven grandchildren; seven great - grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
