George Derek, aged 71 years, a dearly loved husband of Joan, a loving dad of Christopher, Janet and Gary, a dear father-in-law of Joanne and a much loved grandad to Emily and Stuart. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Monday for a service and committal at 2.30 p.m. A thoroughly decent man who will be missed by all.

HUTCHINSON February 8, peacefully at Hundens Park Nursing Home, Darlington. May (Maisie), aged 82 years, beloved wife of Bob, dearly loved mother of Angela and David, mother-in-law of Ian and Marjorie, also loving nana of Lewis, Hannah, Alexander and Nicholas. Funeral Monday. Friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 11.45 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations may be sent for the Alzheimers Society, c/o Seaton Leng and Son Ltd., Bondgate, Darlington. DL3 7JR.

ILLMAN Henry Alfred Charles Aged 87 years, of Kirkby Fleetham, Northallerton. Died February 4, at St. John of God Nursing Home, Scorton (after a long illness courageously borne). Former headmaster of Scorton Grammar School, very dear husband of Robin and the late Margaret, father of John and Jane. Private family cremation followed by Thanksgiving service at St. Mary's Church, Kirkby Fleetham at 2.00 p.m. on Monday, February 16. All friends welcome (and also afterwards at St. John of God for tea). Family flowers only. Donations to St. Mary's Church, Bolton-on-Swale and St. Mary's Church, Kirkby Fleetham.

Lilian (nee Price), aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Robert, dearly loved mother of Joan, Alan, Trevor and Anita, a dear mother-in-law and devoted granma of Kevin, Michael, Peter, David, Andrea, Andrew, Matthew and Mark. Friends please meet for service at Helens Church, Kelloe on Tuesday at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in Kelloe Cemetery.

Family cremation 2.15 p.m. at Darlington, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving 3.00 p.m. in Romanby Methodist Church.

PATTON February 11 (peacefully, in hospital), of Simpson Road, West Auckland. Linda, aged 42 years, beloved daughter of the late William and Edna, much loved sister of Pauline, Michael, Kathryn, David and the late Eric, also a very dear sister-in-law of Liz and Diane and a loving aunt, also a devoted partner of Bob. Would friends please meet for service in St. Helen Auckland Church, St. Helens on Saturday February 14, at 10.15 a.m. Followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery.

PATTON Linda, aged 42 years, died February 11, in Ward 3, Bishop Auckland General Hospital, after a long illness, fought bravely to the end. Many thanks to the MARA Unit and to the Butterwick Hospice. I will miss you badly, Linda. All my love to you up in heaven. Bob C.
