Would family and friends please meet for service at St. Giles Church, Gilesgate on Friday, October 22 at 10.45 a.m, followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

JOHNSON Frederick Raymond In hospital, on October 19, aged 82 years. Johnny, beloved husband of Ruby, dear father of Catherine and Angus and father-in-law of Jim and Sheila and much loved grandad of Adam, Luke, Fiona and Laura. All friends are cordially invited for funeral service at Stockton United Reformed Church, Yarm Lane, Stockton-on-Tees on Wednesday, October 27 at 1.00 p.m., prior to cremation. Beloved husband of Gladys, dearly loved father of Allan, a dear father-in-law of Rosina, also a devoted grandad of Andrew and Reece and will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Marlene, aged 63 years, beloved wife of Vincent, dearly loved mother of Elizabeth, Linda and Juliet and a very dear grandma of Jonathan, Hannah, Emily, Laura, Rhiannan and Haydn. Funeral service at St. Peter and St. Paul's R.C. Church, Leyburn on Tuesday, October 26 at 12.00 noon, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Mary, beloved wife of the late Harry and a dear sister-in-law to Pat and George and also a much loved aunt to Ceri, Rhodri and Guto. Would family and friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Gilesgate on Wednesday, October 20 at 11.00 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations kindly accepted by the British Heart Foundation.

Sam, aged 59 years, dearly loved husband of Maureen, a dearly devoted father of Gina and Thomas, loving step-father of Enid and Janice and much loved granda and brother. Friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Waterhouses on Friday, October 22 at 12.15 p.m., followed by interment in Parkwood Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, may be given after the service in envelopes for 'The British Heart Foundation'. Friends welcome for refreshments at McKenna's afterwards.

Connie, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late Jack, a much loved mam of Joan, Robert and the late Jack, a loving grandma to Gary and Alex and a much loved mother-in-law. Will friends please meet for service and committal at Durham Crematorium on Monday, October 25 at 2.00 p.m.

LUNN Sandra (nee Davison). October 15, 2004. Died peacefully in South Africa. Dear wife of Michael Lunn, dear daughter of Mac and the late Violet, loving sister of Jean and Pat and all their families.

MARCHAM Died October 19, at home, of Burneston. Peter, aged 67 years, beloved husband of Ann, dear father of Trudy and Neil and stepfather to Debbie and Neil, also a loving grandfather. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, October 26 at 2.15 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for the British Heart Foundation.

MARSHALL On October 16, at home after a long illness bravely borne. Mary Elizabeth (nee Cherry), aged 74 years, dearly loved wife of Eric, loving mother of Fiona and David, mother-in-law of Brian and Julie and grandma of William, Christopher, Sophie and Andrew. Would friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Hipswell on Thursday, October 21 at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation.

MAWER October 16 (suddenly, in hospital), of Kell Crescent, Sherburn Hill. Maria, (nee Snowdon), aged 49 years. Beloved wife of Dave, also a dear sister-in-law to Susan and Christine. Would family and friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Monday, October 25, at 10.30 a.m.

McFADDEN October 16 (suddenly), of Spennymoor. Peter, aged 39 years, a beloved son, dearly loved dad and a much loved brother and uncle. Would friends please meet in St. Andrew's Church, Spennymoor, Friday for a service at 10.30 a.m. followed by private interment.

MELLOR nee Noble October 20, peacefully in hospital, formerly of Stanwick Nurseries. Annie (Nan), aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Bert and a dear aunt and great-aunt. Funeral Thursday. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 p.m.

METCALFE John Henry (Jackie), aged 92 years, of West Appleton Farm, West Appleton, Hornby, died peacefully in hospital on October 19 after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of Joyce, much loved father of Doreen, Jacqueline, Brian, Stephen and Kathleen and a dear father-in-law and loving grandad. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Hornby on Monday, October 25, at 1.30 p.m. followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Sheila, aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late Bill, devoted mam of Ella and Joe, dear mother-in-law to Johnny, also a much loved and loving nana and great-gran. Cortege to leave her daughter's residence at 9.50 a.m. on Saturday, October 23 for Requiem Mass in St. Cuthbert's R.C. Church, Crook at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in the churchyard. MOORE Peacefully in Hallgarth Nursing Home, (formerly of Geoffrey Avenue, Durham). On October 11. Edna, aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Moore, mother of Kathleen and Dorothy, much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service at Elvet Methodist Church, Durham on Wednesday, October 20, at 10.45 a.m. No flowers by request. Donations if wished in aid of, The Deaf Childrens Society at the church.

NEARY Bill October 18 (peacefully, at home). Bill, aged 78 years. Loving husband of Jean, special dad of Ivan and a much loved pop pop of Stephen and Rosa. Service and cremation to take place in Stranton Grange Crematorium Chapel, Hartlepool on Tuesday at 1.40 p.m. 'Always remembered our times by the sea and countryside'.

OUGHTON On October 16, of Elvet Crescent, Durham. Joseph (Spider), aged 80 years, will be sadly missed by all his loving family. Would friends please meet for service in St. Cuthbert's R.C. Church, Durham on Thursday, October 21 at 10.30 a.m., prior to interment in South Road Cemetery.

PATTISON Vera Alice, aged 90 years, of Gilling West, died peacefully in hospital on October 18. Much loved mother of Percy and Keith. Funeral service at St. Agatha's Church, Gilling West on Wednesday, October 27 at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only. If desired, donations may be given in church for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

POAD October 18, in hospital. Margaret, aged 66 years, of Darlington. Loved by Alan, loving mother of Rosina, Susan and Beverly, also a loving nana and great-grandma.
