Funeral service and cremation to be held at West Cemetery, Darlington 1.45 p.m. Monday, December 13. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, may be given for the League of Friends at the Friarage Hospital.

KELLETT December 4, at Yohden Hall Nursing Home, Blackhall (late of Wheatley Hill). Victoria (nee Neasham), aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late Thomas, dearly loved mother, dearest mother-in-law and a much loved nana and great-nana. Cortege leaving her daughter's residence, Dunelm Road, Thornley, Thursday at 9.50 a.m. Friends please meet at All Saints' Church, Wheatley Hill for service at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment at Wheatley Hill Cemetery.

KENNY December 7 (peacefully in hospital), of Jubilee Crescent, Sherburn Hill. John, aged 79 years, beloved husband of Doreen, a much missed dad of Neil and Raymond and father-in-law to Julie, also a dear grandad to Diane and Claire and great-grandad of Rebecca. Would family and friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Monday, December 13 at 1.00 p.m.

KIRBY Ethel Winifred On December 4, suddenly but peacefully, aged 85 years, of Ampleforth (formerly of Bishop Auckland and Flamborough), beloved wife of the late Roderick, loving mother of Carol and Susan and a dear grandmother of Sara. Funeral service at St. Hilda's Church, Ampleforth, Monday, December 13 at 12.00 noon followed by cremation at York Crematorium.

LE-NEVEU Darlington December 5 (suddenly in hospital after a long illness). Maureen (Tonie), nee Talbot, aged 73 years, a darling and extra special wife to Geoff, beloved mum to Michelle, Stephen, Kim and their partners and a fabulous granny to Davide, Saskia, Felix, Eve and Gabriel. Her loving, generous and feisty spirit will never be forgotten by everyone who knew her. Funeral Friday, December 10. MAUGHAN Catherine Anne (Cathy, nee Hatfield), aged 82 years, of 78 Shirley Close, Evenwood, died suddenly at home on December 2. A much loved mother, mother-in-law, nana and great-nana. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Wednesday, December 8 at 11.15 a.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium chapel. No flowers please, by request. If desired, donations may be given at the crematorium for Cancer Research U.K.

MAUGHAN Mary Primrose (nee Etherington), aged 76 years, died peacefully in hospital on December 3, of 2 Paradise Cottages, Woodland. Dear wife of the late Jack Maughan, beloved mother to Jean, Kathleen, George, Peter, Barry, David and Paula, a dear mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Cortege leaving daughter's residence 10 Middleton Road, Woodland on Friday, December 10 at 1.20 p.m. for service in St. Mary's Church, Woodland at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for Woodland Day Club may be given at the Village Hall following the service.

MIDDLEMISS On December 6, in hospital, of Mowbray Road, Northallerton (late of Hauxwell). Cyril Arthur, aged 88 years, beloved husband of Mary, dearly loved father of Alice, Sylvia and James and a very dear father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service and interment at St. Oswald's Church, Hauxwell on Monday, December 13 at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only please. Requiem Mass to be held in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland at 12.00 noon on Friday, December 10, followed by interment in St. Cuthbert's R.C. Churchyard, Crook. Family flowers only.
