Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor Thursday for a service at 12.30 p.m., followed by interment at Chilton Cemetery.

TAYLOR On January 15, unexpectedly, of Carr House Farm, Kelloe. Mary Kathleen (nee Weir), aged 69 years, dearly loved wife of Colin, much loved mother of Victoria, Sarah, Jonathan, Benjamin and Matthew, loving grandmother of Alexander, Callum, Olivia, Joshua, Hannah and Izaak. Friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church, Kelloe on Monday, January 24 at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment in Kelloe Cemetery. All welcome at The Three Horseshoes, Running Waters, afterwards.

TENNANT January 11, of Tow Law. Walter, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Pam, devoted father of Gavin, Wayne and Lynn, father-in-law to Stan and Lesley, much loved grandad to Jordan and Sinead, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Philip and St. James' Church, Tow Law at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, followed by interment in Thornley Road Cemetery.

THOMPSON January 17 (peacefully, in hospital). Annie (Nancy), aged 92 years. Formerly of Barnes Road, Darlington. A loving wife to the late Thomas Ford, will be sadly missed by Anna, Michael, Rose, Isobel, Daniel and Michael. Funeral Tuesday, January 25. Would friends please meet 10.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.

THOMPSON (Shadfen, Morpeth) Suddenly, in Milbury Respite Care Home, on January 12, 2005, aged 54 years. Philip Bailey, a loving son of Winifred Thompson (nee Bosomworth) and the late Thomas Thompson, a brother of David Bailey, uncle to Sarah Rachel and great-uncle to Connor Joseph. Will be loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service and cremation at West Road Crematorium on Thursday, January 20 at 1.30 p.m. Friends please meet at crematorium. Will friends please meet for service in Howden-le-Wear Methodist Church at 12.30 p.m., on Wednesday, January 19, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. TONES On January 11, suddenly at home, of Durham Moor, Durham, Liz, aged 89 years, wife of the late Ken, mother of the late Peter and nana of Sharon and Carolynne. Dearly loved and devoted husband of the late Doris, much loved father of Paul, dear father-in-law to Robina and loving grandfather of Kirstin and Fiona. TWEDDALL Stanley (Stan), aged 76 years, of Forge House, Eppleby, formerly of The Travellers' Rest, died peacefully at Nightingale Hall Nursing Home, Richmond on January 17. Beloved husband of the late Topsy, much loved dad of Ian and Bryan, dear father-in-law to Judy. Will be sadly missed by Susan, loving grandad of Jennifer, Katie and Andrew and dearest partner to Winnie. WALKER Belmont Suddenly, but peacefully in St. Aiden's Lodge, Framwellgate Moor, on January 12, aged 93 years. Sarah, nee Davison, a beloved wife of the late Jack, devoted mum of John and Mabel, loved mother-in-law to Cary and Ron, much loved grandma to Colette and Nickolas, and stepgran to Joanne and Ian, also beloved aunt of Trevor, Kenneth and Margaret. Edith Annie, aged 95 years, (former Assistant Matron, Sunderland Maternity Hospital), dearly loved sister of Jean and the late Frank, Tom and George, dear sister-in-law of Rhoda, a much loved aunt to Margaret and Pam, a great-aunt of Graham, Diane and Louise and a great-great-aunt of Niamh. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and the caring staff of Darlington Manor. Funeral Monday, January 24. WATSON Brenda, aged 60 years, of Northallerton, died peacefully in the Friarage Hospital on January 14, 2005. Loving wife of Keith, loving mother of Janice and Peter, grandma to Sam and Melissa and sister of Margaret. WELSH William (Bill), aged 84 years, died peacefully in St. James' Hospital, Leeds, January 10, 2005, late of Norman Terrace, Chilton. Dearly loved husband of Eleanor, much loved father of Gareth, Gillian and Alyson, father-in-law to Pat, Peter and Trevor and grandfather to his seven grandchildren and three great grand-children.
