Beloved husband of the late Gladys, devoted and loving father of Doris, a treasured and very special grandpa to Samantha, Jason and Graeme. Cortege leaving residence at 3.00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27 for service and committal at Durham Crematorium at 3.30 p.m. All friends welcome. Forever in our thoughts. Sleep tight. Special thanks to Dr. Bowron, Jeannie Manning, Dr. Prescott, Sharon (Diabetic Nurse) and Coronary Care.


LOCKEY - Olive (nee Stubbs) On April 23, aged 92 years. Olive of Sedgefield and formerly of Fishburn, beloved wife of the late Bill, a dearly loved mam, mother-in-law, sister, nana and great-nana. Funeral service to take place at St. Edmund's Church, Sedgefield on Tuesday May 2, at 10.30 a.m. prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. LUKE - On April 21 (peacefully at home), of Tobin Street, Trimdon Station. Jean (nee Peacock), aged 78 years, beloved wife of James (Jim), a much loved mother, dearest mother-in-law and a dearly loved grandma and great-grandma. Cortege leaving residence Wednesday at 12.20 p.m. Friends please meet at Rose Street Methodist Church for service at 12.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.


LYNCH - Robert (Bob), aged 87 years, of Skeeby, Richmond, died suddenly on April 21. Loving husband of Lilian, devoted dad of Patricia and Paul, loving poppa of Jonty and Ingrid and a dear brother-in-law and friend. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, May 2 at 11.45 a.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided at the Crematorium Chapel for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance.


MARSH - April 27, of Shildon. Henry (Harry), aged 81 years, devoted husband of Betty, beloved father of Alan and David, dear father-in-law to Evelyn and Christine, a much loved and loving granda of Andrew and Peter, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Shildon Methodist Church at 2.40 p.m. on Friday, May 5, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left in church for Christian Aid.


MELTON - April 25 (peacefully, at home) of West Corn-forth. Belle (nee Ferguson) aged 82 years, a dearly beloved mother, mother-in-law and granma. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Friday for a service and committal at 11.00 a.m.


MIDDLETON - April 21, 2006, peacefully in his own home. Terence, aged 53 years, of Darlington, loving husband of Joan, sadly missed father of Brian, Stephen, Keith and Richard, much loved grandad, sadly missed by all the family. Funeral Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Would friends please meet 9.25 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.


MITCHENER - On April 20, 2006, peacefully in hospital in Stamford, Lincolnshire, of Sherburn Village. Lorraine (nee Adamson), aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles and a much loved sister of the late Irene, Audrey and Jack. An adored mum of Elizabeth and sadly missed mother-in-law of Jim. A treasured grandma of Julian and Gilly and dearest great-grandma of Bethany and Thomas.


NIXON - Brian, aged almost 71 years of Park House Farm, Brompton-on-Swale, died peacefully at The Friary Hospital, Richmond on April 24. Dearly beloved husband and soulmate of Kathryn and a much loved father, devoted grandad, great-grandad, brother, uncle and good friend. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Friday May 5 at 2.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium chapel. PARKER-PHILLIPS - Allyson, aged 43 years, of Razes, Le Dorat, France (previously of South Cowton, Northallerton), passed away on April 22, after a long fight with illness. Elizabeth (nee Mohan), dearly loved wife of the late Colin, sister of Brian and sister-in-law of Gwyneth and aunt of Judith and Lesley. PYLE - (Newton Hall) Peacefully, in hospital on April 21, aged 91 years. Mary (Mary Margaret, nee Moore). A loving wife of the late Tom, much loved mam of Brian and June, mother-in-law of Steve and Karyn, devoted grandma of Brian, Jason (B.J.), Andrew, Kate, Jemma and Holly, also a loved sister of Hilda and Harold, will be sadly missed by all her loving family and many friends.
