Would friends please meet in St. Andrew's Church, Spennymoor Thursday for a service at 10.15 a.m., followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery.

BOND April 10, suddenly, in hospital, of Witbank Road, Darlington. Ronnie, aged 75 years, dearly beloved husband of May, devoted father of Jean, Arthur and Trevor, father-in-law of Brian and a sadly missed grandad of Robert, Margaret and Matthew. Funeral Wednesday. Friends please meet for service in Holy Trinity Church at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crema-torium. Flowers, if desired, may be sent to Seaton Leng & Son Ltd., Bondgate, Darlington, or if preferred, donations may be left for Church Funds.

BORROWDALE April 8. Grace (nee Pinkney), aged 67 years, of Barnard Castle, died (peacefully at her son's home surrounded by her family), following a long illness, borne with tremendous courage and dignity. Beloved wife of the late Norman, much loved mother of John and Tony, cherished mother-in-law and friend of Fiona, devoted and loved grandma of Christopher, Richard and Karl. Sadly missed but remembered always with love by all her family and friends. Would friends please meet for funeral service at Barnard Castle Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 16 at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington. Family flowers only. Donations to be shared between Cancer Research UK (Teesdale) and Barnard Castle Surgery Equipment Fund.

Beloved husband of the late Evelyn, loving father of David and Dorothy, a dear father-in-law of Gillian and Ian, also a loved and loving grandad. Would friends please meet for service in Bishop Auckland Methodist Church on Friday, April 11 at 11.00 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Alice, aged 100 years, dearly loved mother of Doreen, loving grandma of Christine and Clare, much loved great-grandma of Carl, Emmet and Kelly-Ann. Aged 78 years on March 31, peacefully in hospital in Dartford, Kent, much loved mum of Paul, Jane and twins John and Mark, sister of Reg and nannie to many, also a dearly loved widow of the late Harry H. Paul, aged 54 years, devoted husband of Elizabeth, a very special dad of Paul, Tony and David, a very dear father-in-law, granda, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Would friends please meet at the Bethel Independent Methodist Chapel, Half Moon Lane on Thursday at 1.15 p.m., followed by private committal. Family flowers only please, by request.

CARTER Francis Kenneth (Ken), aged 81 years, of Maple Road, Richmond (formerly of Applegarth), died peacefully, in hospital on April 5. Dearly loved husband of Katherine and a much loved father, father-in-law and grandfather. Funeral service at Richmond Methodist Church on Thursday, April 17 at 2.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. CAVILL George William (Bill) Died on April 2, 2003. Dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy Ellen Cavill, dad to Steve, Dave, Robin and Chris and grandad to Lizzie and Sam. The funeral will take place on Thursday, April 10, at 2.30 p.m. in The East Chapel at Cambridge City Crematorium. EDDY John Robert April 7, of 51 Christchurch Place, Peterlee. John, aged 86 years, dearly beloved husband of Joyce, a loving father of James and grandfather of Zara. EDMONDSON Herbert (Bert), aged 92 years, formerly of Whitefields Drive, Richmond died peacefully at Nightingale Hall Nursing Home on April 4.
