Margaret, aged 85 years, beloved wife of Douglas, mother of Peter and Andrew, mother-in-law of Dorita and Alison and grandmother of Rebecca and Sophie. Funeral Friday, November 30. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 p.m. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, may be sent for Macmillan Cancer Support or Diabetes UK, c/o Seaton Leng and Son Ltd., Bondgate, Darlington, DL3 7JR.

BURKITT - Eric Aged 90 years. November 11, 2007. Peacefully after a long illness. Formerly Consultant Psychiatrist at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

CALVERT - November 22, suddenly, at home in Bedale, (formerly of Gayle). Ray, aged 64 years. Beloved husband to Liz, loving dad of Robert, Ann and David, devoted grandad to Daniel and son of Irene and the late Sam. Funeral service and interment to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Wednesday November 28, at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for local charities.

CHAPMAN - Peacefully in hospital, on November 21, of Langley Park. George, aged 85 years, dearest husband of Marion (formerly Yates), loving dad of Olwyn and Christine, father-in-law of David and Nigel, loved and respected stepdad to Alison, Paul, Brian, Stephanie and Chris and a very much loved grandad, great-grandad, brother and uncle. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, November 28 at 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, at his own request, for The Palliative Care Fund, may be given after the service.

CHAPMAN - Peacefully, on November 18, after a long illness bravely borne. Joyce, aged 62 years, formerly of Great Ayton, beloved only daughter of the late Eugene and Lilian and a dear friend. Funeral service and cremation to be held in St. Hilda's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium on Wednesday, November 28 at 2.15 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers please to Ann Charlton Lodge, Eden Hall Grove, Redcar where Joyce received devoted and loving care over the last five years.

COATES - Annie November 15, (peacefully in hospital with her family around her). Annie, in her 101st year. Dearest mam of Doreen, Betty and the late John, loving wife of the late Jack, loving nanna to all her grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by all. Funeral Thursday November 22. COATES - On November 19, died peacefully at Ashleigh House, Trimdon. Doris (nee Errington), aged 96 years, beloved wife of the late William Coates, loving mother of William, Robert and the late Eric, also very dear mother-in-law, nana and great-nana. Funeral service Tuesday, November 27 at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Trimdon Village at 10.30 a.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium.

COGLAN - November 19, of Bishop Auckland. Margaret Jane (nee Monaghan), aged 86 years, beloved wife of the late George, loving mam of Lynn and the late Jean, mother-in-law to Keith, dearest nana to Angie, Karen, Mark and Lee, also a great-grandmother. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 9.30 a.m. on Friday, November 23.

COULT - November 21, (peacefully), of Springwell Avenue, Langley Park. June, aged 55 years. Beloved mam of Michelle, Ian, Ben and Becky, a dear daughter of Margaret and a loving sister. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday November 27, at 1.00 p.m.

Honor, aged 75 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Hubert, much loved mam of Barrie, Vicky and Joyce, also a treasured nana of Michael, Elizabeth, Sean and Tom. Funeral service at St. Bartholomew's Church, West Witton on Tuesday November 27, at 2.00 p.m. followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Veronica (form-erly Deary, nee Callan) aged 77 years, of Ferry hill, dearly beloved wife of Les and widow of Wilf, beloved mother of Martin, Stephen and Margaret, mother-in-law and grandma of Yuri, Sarah, Dale and Joseph. Requiem Mass at All Saints' R.C. Church, Ferryhill 10.00 a.m. Monday, November 26, followed by interment at Chilton Cemetery. Family flowers only. Special thanks to Darlington Hospital Ward 41 and Bishop Auckland Hospital Ward 5.

DIXON - November 20, (peacefully), of Ashcroft, Stanhope. Mary Jane, (Featherstone), aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Alfred, devoted and adored mother of Gordon, Marian, Sheila and the late John and Connie, much loved nana, great-nana, great-great-nana, auntie and mother-in-law, also a dear sister of the late Wilfred and Lily. Friends please meet for service in St. Thomas Church, Stanhope on Thursday November 29, at 12.00 noon, followed by interment in Crosshill Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to, Co-operative Funeralcare Market Place, Stanhope. Collection plate at church for church funds. 'This truly unique and wonderful lady will be forever in our hearts and sorely missed'.

DODDS - Peacefully in hospital on November 15, with her nieces by her side, formerly of Framwellgate Moor and Ushaw Moor, lately residing at Brandon Lodge Nursing Home. Ena, aged 75 years, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Mary, beloved sister of the late George and Alice Barkess, loving auntie to Vera, Susan and Paul. Will all friends please meet at St. Aidan's Church, Framwellgate Moor on Thursday, November 22 at 11.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Friends welcome for refreshments at Durham Indoor Bowling Club, Pity Me afterwards.

DUNN - November 21, (peacefully, at Rosedale), formerly of Hunton. Madge, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Alan, loving mother of Jennifer, Dorothy and Richard, mother-in-law of David, Duncan and Diana, a devoted grandmother of Andrew, Olivia, Emily and James. Will be sadly missed. Funeral service and interment to be held at St. Patrick's Church, Patrick Brompton on Monday November 26, at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to be shared between St. Patrick's Church and Hunton Methodist Chapel.

DUNN - November 19 (suddenly at home), of Evenwood. Albert, aged 91 years, beloved husband of the late May (nee Snowdon), loving father of Malcolm, Alan and Trevor, a very dear father-in-law, granda, great-granda, brother and uncle. EGGLESTONE - June (nee Jimmison), of Evenwood, formerly of Witton Park, died suddenly at home on November 17, aged 72 years. Dearly loved wife of Dennis, also a much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty and friend to all who knew her. Service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, November 27 at 11.00 a.m. Will friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be given on the plate provided at the crematorium for The British Heart Foundation.

Vinar, aged 80 years, beloved wife of the late Ronnie, dearly loved mam of Gladys, Ronnie, Dianne and Valerie and a much loved mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Cortege to leave residence on Friday, November 23 at 9.40 a.m. for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium at 10.00 a.m. Bus provided.
