Angela Faidley Trivett, 26, of 2230 Bay St., Bristol, Tenn., died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and a member of the Throne of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Lynn Trivett; two daughters, Angel Nicolett Trivett and Briana Alyce Trivett; her mother and stepfather, Patricia Faidley Sullivan and Robert Sullivan, Bristol Tennessee; two brothers, Bill Faidley and Bobby Faidley, both of Bristol Tennessee; a stepbrother, Spc. Robert M. Sullivan, Clarkesville, Tenn.; a stepsister, Angie Leigh Holt, Blountville; her maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Laura Walden, Bristol Virginia; her paternal grandmother, Rita Manual, Bristol Tennessee; her step-paternal grandparents, Kyle and Ernestine Canter, Bristol Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.

Virginia B. Tucker
KINGSPORT -- Virginia Ball Tucker, 82, of 5305 Lonesome Pine Road, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, in Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a native of Abingdon, had lived in Kingsport the early years of her marriage prior to moving to Verona, Va., then to Greensboro, N.C., and returned to Kingsport in 1970. She was a homemaker and a member of Cassidy United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Edward Lee Tucker.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ronald S. (Jo Ann) Yeatts, Kingsport, Carolyn Bishop and Barbara Caldwell, both of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Mrs. Paul (Debbie) Sisk, Bristol Virginia, Jimmy Yeatts, Kingsport, and Joey Caldwell Jr., Gray; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
East Lawn Funeral Home, Kingsport, is in charge.

Earl S. Vestal
ELYRIA, Ohio -- Earl Shirley Vestal, 60, died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998.
He was a native of Abingdon having lived in Lorain County for 38 years.
He was formerly employed by Foseco of Cleveland as a machine operator, retiring earlier this year.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include three daughters, Roxann Vestal, Gloria Paster and Shannon Dangelo; a son, Butch Vestal; five brothers, Garfield Vestel, Charlie Vestal, Clifton Vestal and J.D. Vestal, all of Abingdon, and Clinton Vestal, Damascus; two sisters, Maragret Luttrell and Georgia Nickles, both of Abingdon; eight grandchildren; two sisters; six brothers; and a friend.
Campbell Funeral Home, Abingdon, is in charge of local arrangements.

Dennis W. Yarber Sr.
MEADOWVIEW -- Dennis Wayne Yarber Sr., 38, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, at his home.
He had lived most of his life in Washington County, Va., had lived eight years in Knoxville, and was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Yarber; a son, Dennis Wayne Yarber Jr., Kingsport; a daughter, DeAnna Yarber, Kingsport; five brothers, Oliver M. Yarber, James Allen Yarber, David Franklin Yarber, Bobby Dean Yarber and Stanley Randolph Yarber, all of Glade Spring; three sisters, Margaret Good, Timberville, Va., Janie Widner, Glade Spring, and Debra Testerman, Meadowview; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Farris Funeral Service, Abingdon, is in charge.

Elizabeth L. Bentley
MARION -- Mrs. Elizabeth Lucille Bentley, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Smyth County Community Hospital.
She was the widow of Bill June Bentley and attended the Gethsemane Baptist Church. She was a member of the Marion Baptist Church Sunday School in the Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Polly Fleenor and Carol Barker; a sister, Donna Mae Pruitt, Rich Valley; three brothers, Charlie Bill Armstrong, Atkins, Sherman Armstrong, Adwolfe, and Walter Armstrong, Rich Valley; two grandsons; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
Barnett's Funeral Home, Marion, is in charge.

Virgie V. Berry
Virgie V. Hickman Berry, 88, of Bristol Tennessee, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Cambridge House.
She was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County, a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirlee Dowell, Bristol Tennessee, and Dorothy Wright, Goldsboro, N.C.; three half-sisters, WilEllen Fugate and Beulah Pope, both of Blountville, and Ethel Frazier, Bristol Virginia; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Vivian M. Fleenor
Vivian M. Herron Fleenor, 85, of Bristol Tennessee, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Rural Retreat and had lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She was the widow of C. Delmer Fleenor.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Euclid Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Martin "Jody" Burklow, Bristol Tennessee; a son, Charles D. Fleenor Jr., Blountville; a brother, Gene Herron, Kingsport; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda S. Fuller
LEBANON -- Miss Linda Sue Fuller, 50, of the Fox Meadows Apartments, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in a Lebanon hospital.
She was a native of Drill, Va., and had resided there all of her life before moving to Lebanon two years ago. She was of the Free Will Baptist faith and attended the Drill Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Beulah Fuller, Lebanon; a sister, Phyllis Jean Brown, Lebanon; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honaker Funeral Home is in charge.

Joseph E. Lamie
SALTVILLE -- Joseph Edward Jackson Lamie, 67, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon.
He was a lifelong resident of Rich Valley and a retired employee of U.S. Gypsum, with 27 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Harris Lamie; three sons, Robert J. "Jack" Lamie, Saltville, William W. "Billy" Lamie, Rich Valley, and James I. "Jimmy" Lamie, Atkins; two daughters, Katherine L. "Katie" Blackwell, Tannersville, and Rachel A. Fortune, Rich Valley; his mother, Nannie Louise Lamie, Rich Valley; three sisters, Martha Lamie, Rich Valley, Mary Jones, Rural Retreat, and Lula Havens, Lebanon; two grandsons; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Hugh D. Mitchell
ABINGDON -- Hugh Daniel Mitcbell, 90, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Abingdon Manor.
He was a native of Washington County, a member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church and a farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lavinia Marie Barger, Abingdon; a sister, Ella Mae Jessee, Lebanon; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Janice M. Pendergrass
BLOUNTVILLE -- Janice Marie Pendergrass, 61, of 209 Oak St., died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Wellmont Hospice House.
Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.

Cora A. Stout
ANDOVER, Va. -- Cora Azlene Stout died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, in Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport.
She was a native of Erwin, Tenn., had resided in Andover and Appalachia since 1921.
She had been a member of Andover United Methodist Church since early childhood, serving as a Sunday school teacher and a member of various committees for the church and the Big Stone Gap District of the Holston Conference.
She was a teacher in the Wise County Schools of Virginia for 46 years. She taught in the elementary schools in Osaka, Derby and Appalachia and in the high school in Appalachia. She continued her career in education as a guidance counselor in Appalachia High School.
Mrs. Stout was a member of the Wise County Education Association, a charter member of Alpha Psi Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma International, the Virginia Retired Teachers and American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Della James Stout) Cress, Mrs. Donald (Anne Stout) Gibson; two nieces; two nephews; a great-nephew; and a great-niece.
