CEDAR BLUFF -- Mrs. Marjorie Lester Wilson, 88, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in a Richlands hospital.
She was a native of Tazewell County, and had lived in Tazewell County her entire life and was of the Baptist faith.
She was the widow of Roy Glen Wilson.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Janet) Smith, Blountville; a son, Donald Wilson, Paintlick, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Nipper, Hardin, Ky.; four grandchildren, Randy Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Cathy Cox and Terri Alsbrook; three step-grandchildren, Douglas Smith Jr., Richard Bruce Smith and Joey Vandyke; seven great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Hurst-Scott Funeral Home, Richlands, is in charge.

Louise W. Worley

Louise Virginia Wood Worley, 74, of 419 Lakeview St., Bristol, Tenn., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired employee of Raytheon and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Worley, Abingdon; four sisters, Evelyn Shelton, South Bend, Ind., Doris Richards, Bristol Tennessee, Edith Crane, Johnson City, and Jewel Musick, Lebanon, Va.; two brothers, Bobby Wood, Kennesaw, Ga., and Charles Wood, Bassett, Va.
Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.

Robert F. Campbell Jr.

DAMASCUS -- Robert F. Campbell Jr., 50, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol Tennessee.
He was a lifelong resident of Damascus, a graduate of Holston High School, Damascus, and a member of the Damascus United Methodist Church where he sang in the church choir.
Survivors include his mother, Geneva Lee Campbell, Damascus; four sisters, Mrs. Michael (Kelly) Pateras, Scottsdale, Ariz., Mrs. Thomas (Dawn) Romah, Boca Raton, Fla., Mrs. Tom (Penny) Hutchinson, Shady Valley, Tenn., and Mrs. Randy (Annalee) Gross, Bristol Tennessee; two brothers, Sam Campbell, Bristol Virginia, and Donald Campbell, Roanoke; seven nieces; five nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
Johnson Funeral Home, Damascus, is in charge.

Joyce M. Fuller

Joyce Marie Brown Fuller, 55, of 8367 Caney Valley Road, Bristol, Va., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Roanoke, and had lived in Bristol for the past two years. She was a store clerk for many years and of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a son, Mark Fuller, Bristol Virginia; a daughter, DeAnna Elliott, Roanoke; a brother, William H. Brown, Folkston, Ga.; two granddaughters, Jessica Elliott, Roanoke, and Danielle Fuller, Bristol Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.

Frank W. Gardner Sr.

ANDOVER, Va. -- Frank William Gardner Sr., 71, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Norton Community Hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Lee County and Andover, Va., a member of the First Apostolic Faith Church of God, Appalachia, and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include three sons, Frank W. Gardner Jr., Wise, Danny Gardner and Stephen Gardner, both of Andover; two daughters, Connie Lawson, Derby, Va., and Felecia Bragg, Andover; three brothers, Walter H. Gardner, Crackers Nick, Va., Lowell Gardner, Roda, Va., and Alexander Gardner, Elwood, Ind.; a sister, Nettie Sayers, Charlotte, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia, is in charge.

Lantford H. Haley

Lantford H. "Lant" Haley, 79, of Bristol Nursing Home, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was a native and had lived in Abingdon most of his life before moving to Bristol 20 years ago. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a brother, William Con Haley, Charlotte, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.

Kathleen T. Moore

ABINGDON -- Mrs. Kathleen T. Moore, 69, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999.
She was a native of Washington, D.C., and had lived most of her life in Arlington, Va., until moving to Abingdon eight years ago.
She and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Falls Church, Va., and the widow of James "Sonny" Moore.
Survivors include four daughters, Patte Moore Redmond and Kathleen Moore Graupmann, both of Abingdon, Jan McCord, Arlington, and Betty Taylor, Manassas, Va.; a son, James M. "Jimmy" Moore, Abingdon; a sister, Betty Jane Lambert, Sterling, Va.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Farris Funeral Service, Abingdon, is in charge.

James P. Odham Sr.

James Percy Odham Sr., of 116 Vance Drive, Bristol, Tenn., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at his home.
He was a native of Blacksburg, Va., and had lived in Johnson City before moving to Bristol, where he had made his home for the past 43 years.
He was employed with the /{Bristol Herald Courier/} as a pressman and worked up to be pressroom foreman before retiring in 1989 after 39 years of service.
Mr. Odham was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Hartman Odham; a daughter, Teresa Keenan, Atlanta; a son, James Percy Odham Jr., Louisville, Ky.; and a sister, Lucille Gentry, Johnson City.

Basil E. Owens

HONAKER -- Basil Edward Owens, 79, of the Big A Mountain section, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in a Lebanon hospital.
He was a native of Honaker, a lifelong resident of the Honaker area and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a former employee of the U.S. Forestry Service.
Survivors include his wife, Margie May Owens; two daughters, Ann Bostic and Patty Shortt, both of Honaker; a stepdaughter, Kathy Jean Byrd, Honaker; a stepson, William C. Crabtree, Honaker; a sister, Ruby Thomas, Honaker; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandson.
Honaker Funeral Home is in charge.

Margie M. Roark

ABINGDON -- Mrs. Margie Mae Roark, 95, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Cedar Lawn Convalescent Home, Abingdon.
She was a lifelong resident of Washington County and a member of the Mt. View Baptist Church. She was the widow of Carl Roark Sr.
Survivors include two sons, R.C. Roark, Abingdon, and Carl Roark Jr., Glade Spring; a sister, Lulabelle Roberts, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Farris Funeral Service, Abingdon, is in charge.
