Mrs. Luttrell, 57, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2000, in Indian Path Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Kingsport Diabetes Association or Concordia Lutheran Church.

Mary Lou Stapleton Lyon, 55, of Bristol Virginia died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at her home.

Mary N. Mullins
CLINTWOOD -- Mary Nineva Mullins, 91, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in Dickenson County Medical Center in Clintwood.
She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a daughter of the late Ephram and Martha Colley. He was a member of Cumberland Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are a son, Harold Mullins of Caledonia, Ohio; six daughters, Aliene Stone, Dorothy Doston and Jewell Phipps, all of Clintwood, Florence Mullins of Bluff City, Sue Formando of Dale City and Jennie Mullins of the home; six brothers, Guy Colley of Clintwood, Carlos Colley of Bristol, Walter Colley of Parisburg, Cecil Colley of LaPine, Ore., Floyd Colley of Silver Hill, Ala., and Clayton Colley of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Pauline Damewood of Salem, Emma Patrick of Oak Hill, W.Va., and Julie
Powell of Columbus, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Ministers Jack Taylor, Keith Dotson and Doug Stone will officiate. Burial will be in Jim Dutton Cemetery, Route 3, Clintwood.
Mrs. Mullins was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Mullins.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, where a song service will be held at 7 p.m.

Mr. Necessary, 54, of Bristol Virginia died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in Wellmont Hospice House.

Virginia I. Rogers
DAMASCUS -- Virginia I. Rogers, 70, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in Grace Healthcare of Abingdon.
She was born in Russell County, a daughter of the late Giles and Margie Sykes. She had lived in Damascus since 1984 and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW and First Baptist Church in Damascus.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas J. Rogers; four daughters, Susan L. Schwartz of Philadelphia, Sharon L. Rogers of Tokyo, Japan, Shirley A. Franks of Atlanta and Christina L. Rogers of Austin, Texas; a sister, Patricia Kendell of Akron, Ohio; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in
Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. David Matlock will officiate. A private burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Among survivors are grandchildren, Misty Evan Shine, Brent Thomas Franks and Erin Nicole Franks.
There will be no viewing or visitation in
Johnson Funeral Home.

NEW CASTLE, Va. -- Eva M. Meadows Smith, 92, formerly of Buchanan County, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in a Blacksburg hospital.

Lewis P. Smith
ELIZABETHTON -- Lewis P. "Smitty" Smith, 79, of 314 Merry Drive died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000 in the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Mountain Home.
He was born in Blountville, a son of the late Boy and Mattie Rogers Smith. He had lived in Elizabethton for four years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a retired terminal manager of Trailway Bus Lines. He was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church and the widower of Helen Virginia Phipps Smith.
Surviving are a son, Richard
Smith of Elizabethton; a sister, Kathleen Peters of Bristol Tennessee; two grandsons, Josh
Smith and Joe Smith, both of Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the National Cemetery in Mountain Home. The Rev. Steven Meyerhoff will officiate. military honors will be by the Marine Corps Reserve of
Johnson City.

CEDAR BLUFF -- Funeral services for Leonard Winfred "Wink" Spangler Sr., will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands. Burial will be in Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands with military rites by members of the Casey-Shortt VFW Post 9640 of Richlands and the Disabled American Veterans Tazewell County Chapter 31.
Mr. Spangler, 72, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, in a Richlands hospital.

Mrs. Stevens, 54, of 815 Piedmont Ave., Bristol, Va., died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in Wellmont Hospice House.

DUNGANNON, Va. -- Melva D. Trivett, 84, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at her home.
She was born in Scott County, Va., a daughter of the late William and Savanah Dooley. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and the widow of Tracy Trivett.
Surviving are two sons, Bobby Trivett of Nickelsville and Jerry Trivett of Dungannon; a daughter, Judy T. Blevins of Dungannon; a sister, Edna Dooley Lucas of Dungannon; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Dungannon Freewill Baptist Church by Colonial Funeral Home in Weber City. The Revs. J.B. Quillen and Larry Beavers will officiate. Music will be by Dorothy Hicks and Toke Hensley. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. Burial will be in Temple Hill Memorial Cemetery in Castlewood.
Mrs. Trivett was also preceded in death by two sons, Jack and Eugene "Buck" Trivett; a daughter, Norma Faye Trivett; two brothers; and five sisters.
Among survivors are grandchildren Donnie Sluss, Robert Trivett, Melissa "Mick" Belvins Hunt, Sid Blevins, Jerri Lynn and Tracy Trivett.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home or any time at the daughter's residence.
