BRYSON
Thomas H. Bryson III entered into peace on Tuesday July 10, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Stevenson Bryson; sons, Todd H. Bryson and his wife, Kristi, and Thomas H. Bryson IV; sisters, Debrah B. Williams and Susan B. Baker; several nieces and nephews. Tom was a compassionate and caring husband, father and friend. Graveside services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Westhampton Baptist Church, 6112 Three Chopt Rd, Richmond, VA 23226. The West Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, Glen Allen Va. is in charge of the arrangements.

BUDD
Emilie Mueller Budd, 80, of Richmond, widow of Dr. Samuel W. Budd Jr., died peacefully Tuesday, July 10, 2001. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Budd of Iowa City, Iowa, Emilie Budd of Dolores, Colo. and Helen Jennings of South Riding, Va.; four grandchildren, Justin Fecteau, Ann Fecteau, Robbie Jennings and Rickie Jennings; two brothers, Robert S. Mueller Jr. of New Hampshire and John F. Mueller of Charlottesville. Mrs. Budd was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, the Tuckahoe Artists' Association, the Tuckahoe Garden Club, The Country Club of Virginia, The Woman's Club and volunteered at Westminster-Canterbury where she resided. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 13 at Westminster-Canterbury. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.

BULLOCK
Erwin D. Bullock, of Richmond, departed this life July 10, 2001. The staff of the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home is serving his family.

CHAMBERS
Grace Whitlock Chambers, 83, of Midlothian died July 10, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Wade Chambers. She is survived by a son, Wade P. (Bill) Chambers and his wife, Frankie; and a daughter, Brenda C. Dickey; a sister, Bea Long; six grandchildren, Wade Kim, Jeffrey Russell, Mark Shannon, and Bradley Christian Chambers, Thom and Dawn Brennaman; two step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd. where the family will receive friends Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday with interment Washington Memorial Park

CIMO
Mr. William Joseph Cimo, 42, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. Mr. Cimo, a native of Fort Edward, N.Y., had been a resident of Greenville since 1981. He graduated from Fort Edward High School in 1976. He was employed with the Pactiv Corporation until 1999, and was most recently employed with O'Malley Enterprises. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Karen Cimo; daughters, Jessica and Brittany Cimo, both of the home; parents, William and Audrey Cimo of Richmond, Va.; sister, Marianne Fields and her husband, Craig, of Winterville; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1021-B Red Banks Road, Greenville, N.C. 27858 or to St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 1120 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834. For their love and support, the family extends a special thanks to their friends in the Windsor Subdivision.

CROSTIC
Dennis Lee "Denny" Crostic Jr., 22, of Moseley, Virginia, departed this life July 10, 2001. Denny was the son of devoted parents, Dennis L. and Judith G. Crostic, also of Moseley. He leaves his cherished memories to both sets of grandparents, Phillip R. and Emma Gentile and William S. and Hazel Crostic; three aunts, Linda Glunt, Frances Stell and Felicia Ashburn; uncles, Allen Crostic Sr., William S. Crostic Jr., Rich Gentile and Stephen Gentile; 12 cousins, Stephanie, Lysa, Allen Jr., Tabatha, Candice, Marshall, Jimmy, Kristen, Richie, Kristian, Maddie, and Cassie; a host of other relatives and devoted friends. Crostic was a 1997 graduate from Manchester High School. He played soccer over ten years with the Midlothian Youth Soccer League, enjoyed singing and playing music, sports and NASCAR racing. Denny was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. His courage, big heart and kind spirit served as an inspiration to all who knew him. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2 p.m., Hopewell United Methodist Church, 6200 Courthouse Rd. in Chesterfield County, Rev. Thomas Dunkum officiating. The family will receive friends in the Church Parrish Hall following the graveside service.

DANIELS
Clara Bow Daniels, 63, went back on July 10, 2001. She was employed with Shoney's of Richmond for over 42 years. She leaves behind in life and in Christ Jesus her daughter, Debbie; son-in-law, Tony; two grandchildren, Kolbe and Shane; her brothers and sisters, Roy, Sue and Junior Daniels, Dian Anderson, David and Tammy Daniels, Roy Lee and Brenda Sanson; their children, Jessica, Angela and Abraham; nieces, Sarah, Diana, Mary, Tabitha and Rachel Daniels; nephews, Randy Daniels, John Anderson and Jason Daniels. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the American Legacy Foundation.

DAVIS
Helen Lynell Davis, widow of Stanley E. Davis, died Monday, July 9, 2001. She is survived by a daughter, Frances L. Walton, Richmond; brother, Gary "Billy" Williams, Richmond; sister, Mary Armstrong, Richmond; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was retired from American Tobacco Co. and a member of Carlisle Ave. Baptist Church. Remains rest at the Nelsen Funeral Home 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where the family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and where services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment Washington Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Richmond Chapter, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, Va. 23060.

Kimberly Garris Day, 34 of Richmond, died Sunday July 8, 2001. She is survived by her husband, James Stephen Day; four sons, James Stephen Day, Jr, Dylan Ray Day, Noah Austin Day, and Robin Wayne Fredhoff; four brothers, Marty, Tommy, and Bobby Garris and Jerry Keith Heaton; three nieces, Crystal Gale and Terri Lynn Garris, and Kimberly Brook. Remains rest at the Nelsen Funeral Home, where family will receive friends 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Graveside service 3 p.m. Friday at Washington Memorial Park.

FISHER
Dustin Allen Fisher, 8, of Lawrenceville, departed this life Tuesday, July 10, 2001. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home Thursday, July 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and services will be held Friday, July 13 at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements by J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Petersburg.

GIBSON
Linda Gibson departed this life July 6, 2001. She was born in Richmond, Va., resided in Hawaii for the last two years, graduated VCU in Fashion Designing. Survived by two daughters, Sherie Farmer and Nicole Gibson; one son,
Joshua Gibson- Underwood; two sisters, Jeanette Gibson and Shirley Gibson; one brother, Arnold C. Gibson; and nieces and nephews.

GILES
Mrs. Estelle J. Giles of Chesterfield departed this life Monday, July 9, 2001. She is survived by two daughters, Mary F. and Queen Giles; one son, Milton Giles; one grandson, Tom Giles; one sister, Bessie Pollard; one brother, Walter Johnson; one son-in-law, one brother-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Coalboro Rd., Chesterfield Co. Rev. Norwood G. Carson, pastor. Rev. Juanita Harrison officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. After 10 a.m. Friday, remains will rest in the above named church until hour of services. Relatives and friends attending funeral services assemble at the church Friday, 10:30 a.m.

HENDERSON
John Joseph "Lil Joe" Henderson, 23, of Richmond, died July 8, 2001. He is survived by his parents, Robert A. and Jeanne E. Henderson; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Charles Cameron Jr.; niece and nephew, Alexis and Joshua; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Evelyn Eitzen; several aunts and uncles across the country and many devoted friends. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10) with funeral services being held at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Children's Hospital, 2924 Brook Road, Richmond, Va. 23220.

HOBSON
Mrs. Geraldine Virginia Hobson of 200 W. 32nd Street departed this life Sunday, July 8, 2001. She is survived by her children, Bernice Jackson, Doris Jones, Bo Jones, James Jones, Barbara Puckett, Bishop Konnie Jones and William Jones; 17 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; brother, Calvin Jones; aunt, Mrs. Ora Perkins; uncle, Earl Light; three daughters-in-law, Cynthia, Yolanda and Regina; two sons-in-law, Kenneth Puckett and Howard Jackson; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Streets. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 1 p.m. Zion Baptist Church, 2006 Decatur Street. Dr. Robert L. Pettis, pastor, Dr. J. I. McCrary officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery. Remains will rest in church one hour prior to service. Relatives and friends attending services assemble at the church Friday, 12:30 p.m.

HOLLAND
Rea Stuart Holland, 80, passed away Monday, July 9, 2001. A native of Smithfield, he had been a Hampton resident for the past 62 years. Mr. Holland was a 1938 graduate of Newport News High School. In 1943, he graduated number one in his class of 118, from the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School. He retired from Newport News Shipbuilding as a structural engineer in 1984, with 45 years of service. Mr. Holland was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Mr. Holland was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Holland. He is survived by his wife, Dallas Wingo Holland; his daughter, Katherine H. Saloum, and her husband, Victor, of Plainview, Va. A funeral service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, in Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Michael Condrey and Rev. Lawrence Erbin officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends in the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. The family suggests memorials take the form of contributions to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 151 Wythe Parkway, Hampton 23661 or American Diabetes Association of Tidewater, P.O. Box 120016, Newport News, 23612. Arrangements are in the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton.

HUBBARD
Edward Wade Hubbard Jr., 77, of Ashland, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at his residence. The son of the late, E. W. Hubbard Sr. and Lucille Johnson Hubbard, he was born in Cuckoo and raised in Mineral until age 16 when he joined the armed services. He served in the 82nd Airborne during World War II in the European Theatre as a paratrooper. Mr. Hubbard lived in the Ashland area for twenty years and was the owner and CEO of Richmond Refrigeration since 1982. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Diana B. Hubbard and his children, E. W. (Chip) Hubbard III of Mechanicsville, John D. Lollar of Caroline County, Michael L. Lollar of Frederick, Md. and Stephanie D. Lollar of Ashland; his grandchildren are Justin Hubbard and Sophia Lollar. He was predeceased by his brothers, Roger R. Hubbard and Cary Lee Hubbard and his sisters, Alice Hollins and Grace Hubbard. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2001 at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church, Ashland with burial immediately following in Westhampton Memorial Park. Memorial gifts may be made to Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Caroline County or First Baptist Church, Ashland or Kenwood United Methodist Church in Elmont.

HUSKEY
Mrs. Bessie Lee Huskey, age 83, of Emporia, Va. died July 10, 2001. She was the widow of George Huskey and survived by a daughter, Joyce Horne of Huntsville, Ala.; three sons, Garland Huskey of Stafford, George Huskey of Chesterfield, Gordon Huskey of Brewster, Ohio and a sister, Fannie Huskey of Emporia. The family will receive friends Thursday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, Lawrenceville.

JOHNSON
Departed this life July 9, 2001, Mrs. Rosa B. Johnson of 1100 N. 31st St. She is survived by a loving son, Byron Walker; one daughter-in-law, Mahalia Walker; one grandson, Bryant Walker; one granddaughter, Amani Walker; devoted cousins, Gloria Shelton, Barbara Roberts, Alma Hackett, and Emelie White, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where funeral services will be held Friday, 1 p.m. Rev. Otis Mallory, officiating. Burial Oakwood Cemetery.
